I purchased 9 pieces of 1x4x12 cedar lumber and 3 pieces of 1x4x8. We put a lot of thought into choosing this width and length to frame out the 1st 6 sections of our backyard fence, given the increased cost of lumber. In addition we bought 2 snacks and a box of screws. We told the cashier the lumber quantities and he rung it up but the scan didn't work so he did it a 2nd time and we again told him the quantities. In spite of telling him 3 times he rung up 12 pieces of the 12' length. I did not notice the overcharge until I got home a few hours later and the store was closed. I called the store today (next morning) and was informed I would have to bring the receipt to the store to fix the overcharge. I asked for a manager who would have refunded the 3 longer pieces charged in error except that I used a store credit as well as my own credit card to check out. I am disappointed that with all the digital things we can do these days, I cannot simply have a $15.69 credit back to my credit card to make it right. That may not sound like a lot of money but when spending on large purchases and multiple projects it all adds up. I understand cashiers make mistakes, as I worked retail myself years ago, but I feel the store should make it right without me having to drive over there again. I need to work and by the time I have another opportunity to get to that location again several days later who knows if anyone is going to believe me and refund the difference. Its frustrating to say the least. Check your receipts because obviously telling someone the quantity is not sufficient. At least then I could have fixed it without having to make a 2nd trip.

Halifax in kitchen design is the best choice.

I just want to say the store and the employees are beyond amazing. I actually dealt with Frank on the telephone who was one of the kindest people I’ve ever spoken to. Every single employee that I came across was beyond helpful just absolutely wonderful people. After having a terrible experience with the New Castle store It was amazing to walk into a store and deal with people who were so kind and helpful I definitely recommend the store to everybody !!!!!! And Frank you’re the bomb thank you

The employees at the store are phenomenal. Marsha, Faith, AB and Zack in particular. The ladies that stock the nursery and Greenhouse are always so helpful and knowledgeable. The store is always well stocked and clean. Planet of staff for assistance if needed

Great customer service from start (a phone call prior to coming) all the way through purchase and loading it into my car. Zack was fantastic helping in the store!

Associates were very helpful ... Cashier Ann was wonderful. No wait in line and offered loading assistance. store was very clean. Was very busy but associates were still helpful.

As Home depot's go this one is top of the line!

It's sometimes difficult to find help. I bought trash bags from a bottom shelf display near the express checkout and they were filthy. More dusting needs to be done.

Clean,,, Pleasant environment, very friendly helpful staff, easy to find what you want.

Store needs to be Emgeeercised

I like the location and store staff is great.

I am very impressed with employees every one is very knowledgeable and helpful with big smile.total different than other states so far this our 4th state in last 7year we love it I advise even you don’t have to shopping just go and spend some time. I wish all Home Depot have cafeteria too. Very organized full with staff and very very neat.

Employees were more helpful here than at the other two Home Depots I have shopped at in the past. The garden centered was well-stocked with the items I had looked for online.

Employees were very helpful guiding me on what materials were needed for my DIY project. From plant selection to paint supplies to checkout, every employee was pleasant and knowledgeable in their department. My project was a success Thanks to the help & information provided by the HomeDepot employee team !!!

This location is the best. I find very friendly and helpful people whenever I visit. This is the cleanest and most organized compared to other stores. Would be nice if they offered a free tool etc... for so many visits per week or month say, to let customers know they are appreciated for the $$$ they spend here. I spend about 1000.00 to 3000/ yr at mainly this location.

Purchased a new Refrigerator and Richard my sales person was OUTSTANDING. Very honest and patient and most of all helpful

The store is very clean and well stocked. They have a great selection of tools and supplies which makes it an easy 1 stop shop.

Store is well kept with generally friendly staff, store shelves are stocked and accurately priced. Most of the times you can get knowledgeable advice from staff in targeted departments. Checking out purchases can be difficult during peak hours and week ends, but this store seems to manage this flow nicely and self service its always quick and super easy. The excellent 5th star was omitted because the lumber saw is constantly inoperable, either due to lack of staff or machine technical dificulties

It is obvious why there are usually so many vehicles in this store's parking lot. It is because of the staff and the variety and availability of the products in this Home Depot. You will not have to hop from store to store piecing together project materials. It is a one stop shopping store.

The store needs more people like Ralissa- she’s the one who answered my phone call- FINALLY after 20mins of calling the store to hear it ring or to be transferred to another department to hear it ring to no prevail-the call would end. I called back for the last time it was Ralissa who answered. She kept me on the phone until my request was filled. She walked over to the department I needed!!! She didn’t transfer me!! That’s customer service at its finest- she is a quality woman and worker. She went above and beyond and I was so thankful. That’s the first time in years that’s happened at that store. If you cross paths with Ralissa- thank her for being awesome- she is a hard worker and cares about HER customers- LOVE YOU RALISSA!! keep smiling- that store is lucky to have you!

Received great service and the store was clean, aisles were clear and we found what we needed. Ariel (apologies if I misspelled) was very helpful with a few plywood cuts and made sure my dad and I found what we needed. Maleny was our cashier and made us feel welcome. She was also very patient when my dad disappeared with the credit card. I had to go find him. Was overall a nice experience.

Just want to thank all the employees at Christiana Home Depot who brightened my shopping experience yesterday...everyone was very pleasant and very helpful. I always find what I need at this store. Sharon (my cashier) made me feel appreciated and thanked me for my service as she added the military discount to my purchase.
