I don't believe that the problem with this store lay on the hands of the workers. Supervision here is very poor. I see more employees playing around, on their personal cell phones, and joking with each other. At the pro desk, half the employees can't or don't know how to get into the bid room. The carts in the parking lot are never where they should be. You have a lot of really good people that should be rewarded though. Jonathon in the plumbing department was a wonderful help to us. We give him gold stars for his service and knowledge. He helped us find what we needed and explained how to use the products we purchased. We had friendly help throughout the store.

Overall, the store is always well stocked and clean. Most of the time I am able to find what I am looking for on my own. However, when assistance is needed it can sometimes be difficult to obtain. A handful of their employees actually ask if any help is needed and these are usually the ones that provide the better customer service. In my most recent visit to purchase paint, I have to admit that it was the worst visit I've had at this Home Depot.

Shopping at this store could be overwhelming with the extraordinary amount of merchandise that is carried in the store. The store associates are so responsive to the customer's needs and are so knowledgeable . If they see you in front of a display looking a bit puzzled, they take the initiative to ask if you need help. I really appreciate that, as I'm not a home improvement expert. I really appreciate the great service I always receive at this store. I don't know how the employees keep track of everything they sell, but somehow they do! Thank you.

There are several things I really like about this store. One, the way it’s laid out. I can usually find things on my own, but when I can’t I can usually find someone to help me. I also really like the return/order pick up area. The way Home Depot handles returns keeps me coming back. It makes it very easy for me when I don’t know what to get and have to get more than one thing that I can return it so easily. Nathan in Customer-service is especially wonderful! He’s very knowledgeable, helpful, cheerful and pleasant to deal with.

My daughter and her MUN team went to Home Depot to ask for donations with a template the school gave them to ask for their items. The CM Home Depot employees were so happy to help them and wished them luck at the checkout!

Seemed a little nicer generally when I went in today. The lady cashiers all seemed very nice and eager to help and there was no waiting hours in line to get served. Maybe not so busy as weekdays when there is usually a bunch of HD guys standing around "chit chatting about their own stuff" and who did not want to be interrupted let alone OFFER any help. The women are consistently more pleasant to deal with!! I had not been for quite a few months so I hope that the store continues to try to keep up a better performance - as I am still thinking of how bad it was having to go that store during the past few years and watched it getting progressively worse. The original MacArthur store consistently overshadowed this one even if it is a little further to go. So anyway hopefully with such a wonderful location it can be better managed.

The folks at this store are personable and always helpful while maintaining their delightful individuality. In a world of machines, it's refreshing to have human beings acting like human beings HELPING human beings.

Luis in the paint dept was outstanding in providing correct supplies to remove aged paint from several air vents. Cece in the electrical dept assisted in locating 25' cord with attached light and 25' indoor/outdoor extension cord.

The guy in lighting really worked hard digging out an out of season box fan that was up on a palate where no one else but him knew where they were. This guy didn't have to work so hard but he didn't give up.

The Home Depot in Costa Mesa has always been my go to store for all my home improvements. Staff is always helpful in finding all my needs, never rushed in explaining how to make the best of any project I'm working on. Independent sales staff are informative and not high pressure sale oriented. I just wish I were 20 years younger, I would love to be part of there staff.

I very rarely write reviews or do surveys, most people only take the time to write a review because they were unhappy with there experience. Well That is not the case here. Gabby ( Gabrielle) Should be applauded for the way she handled herself, with the utmost professionalism, kindness, understanding friendly and eager to help, Home Depot should be proud that she represents them.
