My husband and I went to get a washer and dryer even though it was a little busy being a weekend the person stopped helping another person to call for help even though Rob R was from a different department he still helped us with our purchased and answered all our questions he was friendly and helpful made us want to come back soon. Not a great experience at all. Hardly anybody with a mask on. Even the store employees had masks on but just covering their mouths not their noses. Its a scary place to shop right now.

Just an all around great visit

This Home Depot is a consistently well-organized store with most of the products available when needed. The customer service reps are very helpful to me on my visits several times each month. Special props to the Paint Department who fields my crazy questions and accommodates custom colors when remnants are brought in for matching. Love the wafting smells of hotdogs and treats upon exit. Hardware stores are fun, and this is a great one for Crystal Lake, IL region. Keep up the great service to the community! Thank you and thank you again!

Once again, the Crystal Lake Home Depot outshines my expectations! I purchased a brand new kitchen range during this Covid-19 pandemic and got excellent service in the store and the promise that the home delivery team was a new outside company that would deliver, install and haul away the old range safely efficiently. The two gentlemen that came out with our new range completely in the original shipping box and packaging, were excellent in every way! They had masks, gloves, shoe coverings on, polite and efficient and very careful in unpackaging and checking every bit of the appliance. They were so careful of our inside kitchen surroundings and that the natural gas hookup was correct and safe. They checked every burner, and even set the clock for me and started the oven, advising me that the first time it should be on for 20 minutes before starting a meal in it! Congrats to Crystal Lake Home Depot for hiring such a reputable company to service their loyal customers!

They do not require people to wear masks in the store and the cashier kept his mask down off his face while checking me out until I had to ask him to put it on. I am 65 so in the higher risk population. I will NEVER shop at Home Depot again.

Normally I would give this store 5 stars. This morning I went there and was concerned that some of the associates were not wearing masks. All it takes is one person to infect a lot of others.

I just left the Crystal Lake location and several employees were not wearing masks, wearing them but had them pulled down on their face and/or and were standing closely with customers. An employee came up to lean on our cart and I had to back away from him. All people need to be wearing masks in public. Customers who are not wearing masks should not be allowed in or asked to leave. Although they were limiting the number of shoppers it still felt like the store was very full and customers did not easily navigate to respect the 6 feet distancing. As someone with an autoimmune disorder my visit made me incredibly anxious and I will not be returning to this store anytime soon.

The store is always stocked and neat. Love the hot dog stand.

The paint manager Andrew was very professional and helpful. He stood behind the satisfaction guarantee on the Behr paint color that turned out too dark in my kitchen (I cut in on some edges and let dry overnight).

Jaegar and Jim gave me excellent customer service and made sure I had everything I needed before I left the store and also helped me load everything into my car making this experience quick and easy!! Thanks guys.

This was my first experience at this store. I was been welcomed when I entered the store. Each employee were very experienced in their field & very helpful. I have never received this kind of customer service anywhere accept this store. Their products are great to shop then any other place.

Great customer service. An employee assisted us carrying drywall to our car. When it didn't fit, he suggested renting a truck of Home Depot . for only $19.99. Thanks again//

This location is always clean,organized and has a very friendly staff compared to other Home Depot’s. One of my favorite places to shop at for my home improvement needs.

On a recent visit, I received a level of service that is unheard of. Without getting into details, 2 of the employees went above and beyond the call of duty to help me with a broken key inside a door lock. What keeps me going to this home depot is the people with their excellent sense of customer service. Honest to goodness they have exceptional employees.

I had a couple of difficult returns and Tim was awesome! The first clerk that I spoke to was only able to get me $0.01 for the bathroom fan that I paid $129.99 for. She didn't want this to happen so she called Assistant Manager Tim and he fixed the issue. I received a full refund! Thanks for making it happen!!

I went to home depot to purchase counter top for my new kitchen, I trusted home depot on getting my counter top installed on time and I was wrong, the company that home depot uses is so bad with customer service they don't answer calls or return calls or have the courtesy to return an email. I was told from home depot that it will take 10 to 15 days for installation and that was the first lie, it took 10 days to get a schedule for measurement and then they cancelled the day before installation because they said their is no material in, so they rescheduled after ten days guaranteeing the material is in and ready to fabricate, on the day of installation they cancelled again saying there was a defect in slabs. Lies after lies , they wasted six weeks of my time and finally I had enough and cancelled my order. "Shame" on home depot for hiring the counter top factory out of Addison IL, this company doesn't care at all. To all that is considering counter tops from home depot, ask who's the fabricator if its The counter top factory out of Addison IL don't place an order buyer beware of this company they deserve a zero star rating.

Shopping and I are not friends. This store could change my mind. Customer service is always top notch. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I've always been directed to where the item I need is located...taken to it if staff is not busy

This store is fabulous. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and i feel very comfortable walking into this store every time.

Clean, well run business with consistently helpful staff. Staff help each other if they are not familiar with the area I am shopping in. Love the "cut your own" trim area, as you get what you need, not having to buy the long lengths stocked. A great place to shop for home maintenance. Returns desk is usually very efficient, and service is helpful. Thank you for being there when my home needs a fixin'.

Always a friendly atmosphere when I walk thru store. Associates always will to help.
