I have been shopping at this store for years. The staff was always friendly and very helpful when help was needed. It has always had the products I was looking for and needed. Years back I was doing a remodel in our bathroom and ordered a cabinet door. Two times I was sent the wrong one. I finally talked to the store manager and he promised the next door would be the correct one. I few days later a vehicle pulled into my driveway and it was the store manager with the correct door!! What really impressed me was I live over 100 miles from the store. That made me a Home Depot customer for life.

We have been shopping HD for twenty plus years and spent tens of thousands of dollars during that time. Most of the time, the service was great, sometimes not so good, but never bad enough to make me want to stop shopping there--until May 5th. We purchased a custom garage door from HD and I needed a pint of the matching paint for the trim and touch-ups. The millwork desk employee was unable to look up the color code for the door (Behr Mocha brown) so he sent me to the paint desk with the actual garage door sample to have it color-matched. Needless to say, I was doubtful. When I got home, the paint did not match..not even close. I began doing some research and found the correct color code online. Went back to HD the next day and tried explaining the situation, but was immediately stone-walled by a rather smug woman at the return desk. I politely asked to speak to the manager. After a few minutes, Rick, the assistant manager came over. I tried explaining the situation and that I had told Doug at Millwork who provided the sample, that I would return the paint if it didn't match. Rick wouldn't even let me finish; he kept pointing to the label which said cannot be returned. I have never encountered an individual so inarticulate, smug, condescending, rude and ill-equipped to work in customer service. I am not sure if this was in part due to the fact that I am a woman, and can't help but wonder if he would have spoken to my husband in the same manner? I really believe that the situation could have been handled better-especially, since I trusted the employees to provide me with a matching sample to my 3k garage door.

Store was clean and easily able to find required things. good assistance from employees.

Home Depot has plant growing products that really work. The sales associates are friendly and always helpful whether checking out or directing to a product.

Best pro desk associates Home Depot has. I have never witnessed a harder working honest and caring group at any Home Depot or any home improvement store period. Bill, John and Cheryl are the reason I stick with Home Depot to keep my business running smoothly. They bend over backwards to meet my ever increasing needs of a rapidly growing business. No matter what I need it’s taken care of immediately

They advertise a 10% discount for military but they don’t honor that. Associates in the most are helpful but others not so much. I won’t go there unless I have to

I'm in the middle of a full house remodle and I am living in my garage till the work is done. When I need something I want to be able to get in and out fast and back to work. This store has great folks with tons of knowledge. If I can't find it, they are there to help and answer my questions. The more mature employees are my favorite and have never let me down. PK Macaw

I enjoy going to HomeDepot. They are always ready to help me if asked on any Home projects.

The only big box home improvement store in this end of town. Well stocked typically, with friendly, knowledgeable staff.

One checkout clerk always asks if purchase is on home depot card. even if this is my 5th visit to the store today. ENOUGH ALREADY

I really cannot say enough about this place. Service is what makes the difference. I know Home Depot is a big giant corporation -- but someone somewhere figured out that service is key. You cannot find service any better then here.

This store is clean, products I needed were in stock and the staff was generally very helpful. In particular Cedric (a cashier) was very professional and courteous despite running into a few items that were missing bar-codes, we worked together to get the correct information and he made the experience very pleasant (kudos). Everyone else has been fairly knowledgeable except for one lady who seems to always work the return counter. She has made returning things very difficult for me and even lied to me causing me to make a second trip for a return that she could have handled but simply did not want to. I was helped by someone else the second time because the return desk was closed and they informed me that it should have been taken care of the first time, thank you Timothy (I think - that's what my receipt says).

Currently working on several home projects and have been in every department in the past 3 months. Staff is so helpful and I have had the pleasure of meeting Alicia, store manager. She has helped me with lighting and sprinkler system issues. I will return to this store because of her as well as others. Thank you Home Depot!

Store employees are wonderful, computer system sucks to high heaven, do not order product or request installation.

If you are shopping in the carpet department, be sure to ask for Mr. Paul Sanchez, a Hope Depot Associate. He is a very pleasant, patient, kind and knowledgeable. He will bend over backwards to help you with your shopping needs and will answer all your questions.

Lisa in appliances is awesome, she's kind considerate and patient. Also well informed of the products she sells.

Store #1806 is the only Home Depot store I care to shop at in the Boise valley. I know a majority of the employees and all are extremely helpful every time. If I have a problem locating a specific item, every employee knows exactly where to find the item in question. Prices are competitive and the store is located close to my business and residence. All of the employees are eager to help but Bill and John at the Pro Desk plus Norma at the contractor cashier desk are outstanding. They are the reason I return to Store #1806 and refuse to shop anywhere else.

I would recommend this store, but I would be aware that Home Depot needs to train their employees that 'the customer is always first', not find the best/easiest way to get the sale concluded. I had a cashier young man that said 'hello', but that is as far as his salesmanship. He was indifferent about my needs, sent another associate to do what I asked him to do. It made me feel like I was not wanted, didn't need my business and wasn't treated very well.

I have lived in the vicinity of this HD store for many years. I find it easy to access, well stocked, with friendly, professional staff. If I can't find what I need in-store, I can often go online and get the product delivered to the store or at my home in short order.
