The store is very clean and all staffs are kind. Especially the return counter was great.

Natasha, Head Cashier, replaced my 2 piece 6" Halo Trim that was accidentally discarded when I left it on the shelf as I was talking to an associate in the electrical department. She replaced the item at no charge. Natasha was very friendly and offered her service with a smile. People or associates like Natasha is the reason why I always shop at Home Depot. Thanks Natasha ! Pam is an amazing employee at the Brea Home Depot! She is always cheerful and helpful. She even knows where things are! Amazing customer service from her. However while walking through the store not a single associate greeted me, asked to help me, or even nodded at me. I even locked eyes with Whitney the assistant manager and she completely ignored me and continued forward.

good shopping experience

The cashier, Celene, noticed that the code I was scanning at the self-checkout was a bulk pack code instead of an individual item code. She came and told me that I had overpaid and that she wanted to correct it for me. She could have just left it alone, but she chose to go out of her way to help me. I appreciate that kind of service very much.

After shopping at this store almost daily since it opened around 15 years ago, I can say with all honesty, the inventory and organization of the store has never been worse than the last 2 years. This cannot be blamed on the employees. They are great! From Cathy in procheck, to Sal in plumbing, Brian in flooring, Joe in paint, Dave in millworks, Mark in pro services, they all give extra effort and go above and beyond to help people. They take personal care with their customers and have a great work ethic and are to be commended. The employees are in no way to be blamed for the atrocious inventory control, the daily outages of the most common items. After spending several million dollars in this store alone since it opened, I believe I am an expert in the condition of this store. Frankly it sucks. Some of it is Atlanta and the lack of understanding of what is involved in running a store. Another is the managemen of store resources. Blaming employees for management's shortcomings is not acceptable. They are doing what they can. But when the night shift is not staffed to be able to download product or identify outages this is managements issue. If I calculated the amount of times I had to go to another store or macgiver something due to outages my calculator would run out of zeros. Don't blame employees, look in the mirror. You really don't Care about customer service and you have cost me tens of thousands in lost productivity. The only reason you are still in business is because there is no one else to buy from. HD does not give an darn about helping contractors who are the largest percentage of the business, but they are great at selling bicycles and other unrelated bandini. I can't get a garbage disposal hose but I can buy all the pointsettas I want. If I did not have to do business with you I would not. And every contractor you talk to will say the same. Even this morning, the load of garbage in the screen aisle and surrounding area was unbelievable causing me and another unknown contractor to complain about how you can never find anything. You are truly ridiculous. But I suspect nothing will happen. Or improve. It never does.

The store is always so clean, all employees are friendly and eager to assist you and extremely professional.

It's a good store. It has most things you might need and is a bit more oriented towards the DIY customer than other local Home Depot stores. The store is very clean and well ordered. Plus, the employees are the nicest and friendliest of any Home Depot I have ever shopped at. They really go out of their way to help you.

GREAT PRODUCTS AND PRICES ARE COMPATIBLE

Love the later hrs. that the store is open. Most people shop in the morning, afternoon and early evening. I prefer to go during the late part of the evening. It isn't crowded and help is provided more rapidly than during the other parts of the day because it is busier.

Terrible customer service with employees that don't care. If you can find any employees to help you, that is.
