This store has a known theft problem, and I have experienced a locked wheel when trying to exit the store on more than one occasion. Just leave the locked cart where it is and carry your items. So frustrating.

Rona is helpful and friendly she is a cashier. Ray is a lot attendant and the nicest person and he cares.

The workers are really nice and helpful , i had a hard time finding things and they helped me a lottt! I always love going to this home depot as the workers are neverrr mean or anything like that haha

Everything about Home Depot for me. It’s always a great experience. Everything in the store is easy to find. The employees are always forthcoming to help you find things if you can’t find it yourself the products that are carried, I think are very good and if anything Hass to be returned it’s always no questions asked and easy, love the store great experiences

Stacy B. in the loading dock, is a great reason why the El Cajon CA store should be the preferred Home Depot store.

Laniya is the sweetest cashier at this Home Depot try and look for her when you’re in a rush lol.

I was able to locate both exterior, and interior products at this location without having to travel to multiple various locations. The plumbing inventory surpass my expectation compared to other locations, and the cleanliness of the isle's and bathroom were neat and clean.

I live in Texas but I frequently visit San Diego and shop at this Home Depot. At this time both of my daughters have major projects going on and we are helping them. One daughter is a school teacher at a Christian school and my other daughter is the Sunday school director. They are both doing wonderful things for children and so proud of them. And it’s great to be able to shop at a great store to get all our supplies and wonderful employees

These people were super positive and helpful.

The paint counter staff are super helpful, knowledge, and (most importantly) tint and mix the paint properly! (This is not always the case at other HD locations.) I will be coming back to this HD for all my paint needs, even though it's not even the closest store location to me.

AFTER KATHY HAD HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY, I FORGOT THAT I NEEDED SOMEONE TO HELP ME LOAD UP ALL THE 5 UNITS. NOBODY WAS AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF THE LOADING AREA, UNTIL A YOUNG GENTLEMAN, MAYBE IN HIS LATE TEENS OR EARLY 20S- HE VOLUNTARILY OFFERED TO HELP ME AND DID IT WITH A BIG SMILE AND HE WAS SO EAGER TO HELP AND MADE ME FEEL THAT HE WAS THERE TO BE OF HELP. I FORGOT TO ASK HIS NAME BUT HE HAD A GOOD PERSONALITY, YOUNG (BET 18-23), LONG CURLY HAIR. I WISH YOU CAN FIND HIM FOR ME BECAUSE HOME DEPOT NEEDS MORE EMPLOYEES LIKE HIM AND I SWEAR BY THIS STATEMENT (EL CAJON STORE)

The associates from returns could be a little bit nicer n look a little bit not irritated with customers

Based on your guidelines I am too upset to write what I really want to. So just let me say this. Home Depot needs to change their current policy on when to give Veterans a discount. Showing their Veterans ID used to be enough to get the discount. (Shameful policy)

Cashier ELVIE was harassing me and my wife when we were just trying to pay for our items

I was directed to the right product right away by an associate. I didn't have to wander around like a deer in the headlights! I was a also helped by Mikala. If you look up "customer service" in the dictionary, you should see a picture of Mikala!!

The manager Isaiah went above and beyond to help me when I really did not expect anyone could or would help me at 5 minutes before closing. I needed a car battery I was going to be on the side of the road without it. This guy took my call at 9:55 and when I finally arrived at 10:15 he was at the door waiting for me ready to walk me to get the battery and rang me up immediately. He made a difference beyond words and I won’t forget his kindness when I needed it most. He is a keeper for sure.❤️ and I hope I spelled his name correctly…

Primo 5gal. Water bottles are sold on a full and exchange basis. That is if you go in and buy a bottle of water it costs $6.95 for the bottle deposit and $6.95 for the water. Same price so that when you bring one empty bottle back you exchange it and only pay for the water. Here's the issue. If you are shopping and remember that you need water and didn't bring any empty ones you just buy them. No problem. You are shopping again and see the water display and say darn it I forgot to bring the empty ones back I'll just do it next time. Uh, no you won't. Whatever amount of empty bottles you have you are required to buy that many more bottles of water. No money back on empty bottles, only sales of water. Is this an insurmountable issue to solve? Seems to be. I'm done buying water there. I learned.

This store continuously uses the parking lots as storage areas for pallets full of gardening materials. On my trip this morning, no one making any attempt to clear the lot of the numerous empty carts. Inside isn't much better - the aisles are cluttered with carts full of unshelved merchandise. The weirdest experience was having my way blocked by some sort of robot which at least stopped before it ran into me. An employee did finally come to my rescue and did something to make the robot move out of the way.

Today, 17 March 2023, I stopped to shop for light bulbs. Alex was a wonderful, attentive employee. Dana was a wonderful, cheery cashier. I found what I needed, they were affordable. It was a good simple 20 minute visit.
