Clean, well stocked, courteous and friendly employees.

Abdool one of the employees was so helpful and kind, he has knowledge about the products and the store.

By Exit door outside area is very congested with shopping carts

Just a bad experience in homedepot (Elmont) from begining to end. THANKS TO THAT CASHIER (ASHLEY) for being so nasty. As if she was doing me a favor because I ask her to check my Home Depot account for a balance.

The store experience was good. I will say customer service rep - Angela provided EXCELLENT customer when correcting her colleague - Neville error. I did not need to spend more money on an Uber to come back to the store again. Neville’s customer service is poor. I say this because I’ve worked as cashier in Channels decades ago. You can greet customers and thank them for your business. Also, when he made the error, own it and try to correct the issue without inconveniencing the client again. Don’t tell a customer to come back to store for a resolution when you processed the transaction only an hour ago. Thank you again Angela and Amed for excellent customer service and management resolution.

I was greeted when I walked into the wood department and helped completely. It was raining outside and he went out into the yard to find a piece of wood I needed to fix my fence. Daniel was great at the checkout, along with the young man who helped me. I think he was from Guyana.

This employees are in serious need of customer service training. The rudest people unwilling to help customers. Why should a customer go back and give business to this particular location when the one in Hempstead makes you feel like a valued customer unlike this Elmont store? I would give 0 stars if I could. Cashier named Chelsea is particularly rude and impolite. She seriously needs training on customer service and how to address customers. If you are not happy at HD, go work somewhere else and take your attitude with you.

Store manager should be fired for running this store in such a sloppy way. The employee have an " I Don't Care Attitude "

This store has the best in class employees trained to be disrespectful to customers every way possible.

If I could give NO stars I would. Long time shopper at this store due to location. First time purchasing and having install of major appliance from HD. LAST TIME shopping here ever as a result of this experience. Incompetence and rudeness from sales and delivery people that led to issues with install of machine. Do yourself a favor and shop at PC Richards instead.They are PROFESSIONAL. If you must shop at a Home Depot go to the one in Springfield Gardens, Queens. They know how to treat customers and take care of their business like professionals. Unfortunately, Elmont Home Depot has lost HD this customer for life.

Horrible, horrible service! This is one of the worst locations I've been to. The staff is never around or always look like they'd rather be anywhere else but here. Hire people who care about helping instead of just getting a paycheck! The store never has anything in stock. I've wasted so many trips going there just to be told that they didn't have my items even though it said in the app and online that they had >10 in stock. Where is it all going??? The store is usually disorganized so I can never find anything, including the associates, who never seem to be around so I can't even ask for help. If I do manage to find one, they're usually not helpful because they don't care enough to be helpful. Overall, a really horrible location that I would suggest avoiding if you can!

This is one of the worst Home Depots I've visited. I only go to this location out of convenience but have driven out to other locations to avoid the horrible service here. The associates are never around to help because they are always busy talking to each other. I've had a rather nasty encounter with a manager and was asked a very offensive question by an associate. This location never seems to have anything in stock and, if it does, the associates are always difficult about locating the product for you. The shelves are always a mess as well and it's always a struggle to find anything despite getting the location for products from the app. Overall, this is one of the worst locations I've been to both in terms of service and product availability.

Very pleasant experience compared to the Valley Stream store. Better quality stock of lumber and the employees are pleasant.

My wife & I use this Home Depot as our main hardware go to store & we usually find all the items we are shopping for. The associates at this store are always very helpful & the cashiers are very nice & treat you professionally. So far over the years we have not had a negative experience at this store and we have always found the store to be clean.

I use Home Depot a lot. Not just this store, but many of them. Please lay out ALL your stores the same way. This way I know where all the departments are. I just hate when the stores rearrange items, makes finding items more difficult. Please stay with the same brands. Looking for Clorox and leaving with Cloralen just upsets me. Looking for a replacement cabinet door only to find HD no longer does business with that vendor is upsetting as well.

Poor customer service experience.

It's a great for store for the do it yourself novices like me who always need to ask or a little assistance, and the handymen and contractors.

The Lighting staff was excellent and went above an beyond to assist me secure the materials needed. Great customer service goes a LONG way with me, especially during these difficult times. thank you Jackie, Josh, Mikey & Sam.

Good place to shop for home improvement and other home needs

Neville gave us the wrong change. He was supposed to give us $1.30 back but did not give us the $1.00. I went back to him and he called me a liar. And yelled at me.

The assistant is always excellent. Very helpful and friendly. They always ask if you need help especially when they see you like your confuse or looking the shelves like crazy. The store is very clean.
