Priscilla and Su, employees of the pro desk area did amazing. They helped overcome the painful challenges of the home depot interface. It took several hours to place together a simple lumber package, but they were both extremely helpful, polite, and patient. 10/10 employees.

I bought some plants in December last year 2023 and the associate was able to find my receipt on my card she was very helpful and patience there needs to be more workers like her

Home Depot shows one price on their website, only to charge more in the store. They won't even honor their own website prices.

We just wanted to say how impressed we are with our fairly regular visits to this store. My grandma had passed away and in remembering her I purchased a plant from home depot. An employee helped me who was an expert in gardening and genuinely suggested a plant as per my wish. She was super sweet, kind and understanding.

This Home Depot has the carts locked to the store, to where they stop SOLID in the doorway to get out. Pushing a heavy load is dangerous if you do not know the cart is going to lock/stop solid!

I had a very pleasant experience with the level of service I received at genesee store in San Diego. David Hill, the plumbing supervisor stepped in to help me patiently when I was waiting for a person helping cut a plywood into pieces I needed for my DIY project. He went above and beyond helping me cut them with precision. Very grateful and cant thank him enough.

I am buying less and less at HD these days. . I would like to complete this and get off the computre but cannot unless I fill out the required nickname. I will use my name.

My visit/experience to Home Depot was extremely pleasant, all employees were smiling, friendly and helpful. The store was clean and clutter-free. I am from the tropics and I appreciate all the plants that remind me of an island.

Expected to have to spend a lot of time choosing a new fridge but Deb Donna wrapped up the sale faster that I could believed. Delighted with the experience.

Deborah Clark went above and beyond to help my family with trellises. She had to climb a huge ladder and reach farther than usual since items were not stocked correctly. Due to Deborah taking her time to go out of her way I would and will return to this location. 5 stars to Deborah. On the other hand be careful checking out if your cashiers name is Kristin. Kristin was short with me and said “No!” When I thought I could use Apple Pay. There are better way to communicate Kristin. Kristin receives a 0/5 as there was no reason to be rude.

My dad and I always go to Home Depot and the service there is great, I have never had a problem with a rude employee. Everyone there is great and they show me what I need right away.

All available carts outside garden (there were three) were locked because customers had taken them too far away (so far not a problem). Employees inside garden said the only keys to unlock were at the front of the store and they were not going to call or go get the keys. Also directed us to go to front door for carts. Left with the one item I could carry.

I went to the store yesterday to buy a refridgerator. I told a sales rep what I was looking for and he spent time helping me decide which unit to buy. I came back this morning and the same sales rep wrote up my order and I was all done within 15 minutes. Best shopping experience I have had in the past 50 years.

I've been frequenting this store for decades. The cashiers are the face of this store. They're so very pleasant! Especially look for Karin and Janet. I'm perfectly willing to wait if i see one of these two simply to say hello. Classic customer service.

I sincerely appreciate the difference my military discount provides. With all the high prices in our economy today, even a little savings can make a difference in my tight budget. Please appeal more to those “do it yourselfers” in the garden dept. An example would be coco fiber in bulk which could be more widely used instead of the coco fiber in a couple of sizes and shapes. It s the same with plants. Need wider variety of smaller sized plants instead of huge expensive ones.

Honestly, sounds like a joke but it’s not. You’ll know who Thomas is because he’s the guy who wants to help you, is kind, asks your name and knows his stuff. He was helping people as we walked up and walked away. The guy knew this specific light bulb we needed for a bathroom fan and made a suggestion that ended up making it so we got more light and the same value. Such a unique customer experience we left a review on the receipt and on here. Come to this Home Depot. Find Thomas. He will help.

Using the Self Check Out to pay for the item purchased. Using a Gift Card for the first time to pay for my purchase. Register screen asked me if I wanted any cash back? I asked an employee attendant about how this works with a Gift Card? That employee in a very loud voice yelled out "What does the machine say!?. This is the worst experience I have ever had at Home Depot. After over 30 years of shopping there I won't forget this any time soon. I was demeaned and disrespected by this Home Depot employee who was stationed there to assist customers. What happened to treating the customers in a helpful and respectful manner????

I visited the Genesee Avenue store this afternoon. Mark in lumber went above and beyond in helping me with the correct lumber choice and even cut the pieces to my specifications. Thank you Mark. And thank you Home Depot for hiring team members like Mark who go out of there way to help out customers.
