Stacy at the Pro-Desk made multiple calls to connections through the company to make my order happen in the least complicated way. After staying at the store until midnight, driving home through a snowstorm, and not getting home until 2 A.M. which I didn’t know about until talking to him the next day, he then proceeded to offer delivery of my toolbox to my house and never skipped a beat on anything. In my opinion he went above and beyond more than I’ve ever had a retail associate do in my life. That man doesn’t just deserve a raise, or a bonus, he deserves a promotion because that’s the kind of person other team members should learn from when dealing with the public.

Tile floor is not done Jet

I went for the Ryobi sale. They had signs if you bought this 2 pack of batteries you would get a Ryobi One tool for free. It showed pictures and said + more. On the sprayers was this sign posted right on the display (twice). When I went to check out they wouldn't honor the batteries with the tool. They got the manager who was extremely rude. I told them they needed to honor it and then if it didn't apply take the signs down. The manager made zero attempt to rectify it. I found out by another manager that I was the 3rd person just in that lane who had it rejected. If it didn't apply they shouldn't have the signs on it but it was clearly mis-advertized, and then wouldn't honor the sale or even try to rectify it.

I had to return item that I could not find the receipt for. She acted like it was crazy and that they weren't going to allow me to do it. Then she scanned it and it gave me a store credit without any issues. And she said well it probably won't do that next time because they're cracking down. I said I don't understand what you're talking about I've never had an issue returning items. I said I buy a lot of items and I've never had an issue. She said we have contractors who buy a lot of stuff and they're not allowed to return items anymore. I don't understand why she said any of this because mine went through without any problem.

Staff are always welcoming and go out of their way to assist in all areas of the store.

My husband wanted a new weed whipper but didn't want to pay a lot. He found a Ryobi which had all the bells and whistles he was looking for at a Great Price!

I have been to several Home Depot outlets and The Lapeer store employees are by far the most friendly and knowledgable I have been with. Its always a fun trip for me.

This location is less than a mile from my house with no competition nearby. The store is clean and tidy but it’s very hard to find an employee to help with anything at all in the store. The prices on all the things I buy multiple times per week has doubled in the past 3 years and the inflation is passed right on down to the customers with very little of the things I purchase ever being marked down. It’s odd that Home Depot doesn’t have rewards with percentages off based on loyalty and of course in the theme of this review even checkout is me ringing myself up and sometimes struggling to stick cash in the us-scan machine to the point where I’m forced to use credit for everything. So if you need a list of project related things you will find the things you need just don’t rely on employees, being valued or good prices.

I have been shopping the Lapeer Home Depot Store since it opened and have not been disappointed. Throughout those years the employees seemed to have been properly trained to be able to go a step further than absolutely necessary and I always appreciate their assistance.

With the nice weather we’ve been unexpectedly having they have really taken the time to make sure the garden area was ready to go. Kudos to that team

We went in looking for a specific rug. Keith went out of his way to help us find it and help move a product that was in the way. Big thanks to him and the man at self checkout that helped us too.

They don’t know how to install dishwashers at all.

We just purchased blinds at Lapeer, MI. Nita and Tyler were exceptional in every way in helping me understand and navigate the process. You don't find many places where they care about the customer, but Home Depot does. from Liz at the service desk who has had to help me with my returns.. always with a smile and encouraging Emily has helped a lot as well on many occasions. You have a consistently positive, knowledgeable, and conscientious staff.

I have always purchased my paint & painting supplies, from Home Depot. They're great helping with selection of colors. Very knowledgeable.

Home Depot is like a candy store for the Do It Yourselfer. I love going there when I need something and also just to simply browse and see what is new on the market. I have never had a disappointing experience. The employees are always helpful and very knowledgeable. Keep up the pleasureable atmosphere and thanks to all your employees for the great advice over the years!!!

It seems every other item, or even 2 out of 3 items are defective that I buy from here, from water heaters, to simple items such as paint brushes, most should never have left the manufacturer. Now I do not expect perfection in anything, but the items should at least function as the item they are. The delivery service they use "Roadie" is terrible, got cussed out because I refused delivery of a faulty item, and the woman did not even speak english. To be fair the store manager, or one of the managers, not sure, tried to make the situation right, but I tried too many times, ended up buying a AO Smith water heater from another store, which is much better quality than Rheem and came without dents (tank does not feel like a aluminum can). As I stated above it seems like ALL of the products I buy from Home Depot lacks quality, I spent 1000's at this store, I visit the return line often. The only items I had bought without issue was a Whirlpool washer and dryer set, but thats due to Whirlpool still being a stand up company that makes quality products. Sad part is too, for example Everbite water heater lines leaked out of the hose connectors (look up the reviews on Home Depot, they ALL LEAK like this, yet they still sell them, and trust me it's not due to my installation (had to get hoses from another store of a different brand, no leaks), I went through three of these hoses. Sadly since it was part of a water heater install kit, just have 2 faulty hoses to toss out. I live far from the other hardware stores and about 25 minutes from home depot, I am now driving more than an hour to hit the other hardware store that starts with a L. Sadly one of my favorite stores to shop at (Home Depot) is no longer on my list, i will just go there for simple things such as nails and screws when needed and take the long ride elsewhere for anything else.

We had had a rough morning. I am 60 and my mom is 83. It was so nice to come into your store and get some things for cutting copper pipe and cleaning out my garage after having a new boiler system and plumbing done in my house. Some people can be very “ageist “and it can be quite painful… Everybody in your store was lovely and the bathrooms were clean and sanitary and we found everything we needed… Keep up the good work and what a great management staff you must have to have charming Kind employees

The store is extremely clean, friendly and the staff are very knowledgeable. Have questions about something? You can find and associate fast and have all your questions answered I cannot say enough about the Lapeer store.
