I got treated very poorly by 3 employees, getting eyes rolled made fun of taunted and not helped loading to my truck they just partially helped inside store avoiding most of the work and after loading inside taunting me telling me good luck loading that.

          Help Given on a Return
          I bought too much Ready Mix Cement on 5/26/24 and returned 15 bags and needed help off loading it. Anna the person that help me at the the return station, help me off load all 15 bags, 40LBS each. Even got up in the bed of the truck to get the bags that were to far to reach and moved them forward. Anna is my new HERO at The Lawton Home Depot. Anna requested some help but no one showed up. She (Anna) got right too it, not a problem. I'll be looking for Anna on my next visit to Home Dpot in Lawton. Great Worker!!

              Great Customer Service
              My wife used to be a big fan of the competitor next door and thought that customer service was not that great at Home Depot. In the past few months, I started to shop more at Home Depot because their customer service is excellent. Even though Home Depot has also been going toward self-checkout, it is much more convenient than the other store.

              Online order failure
              I would definitely call the store to ensure your entire online order is available for pickup before driving to the store. Several times I have been told my order was ready to only show up and it either A: not be ready or B: They were out of stock and didn’t notify me.

                      JR in garden center was amazing!
                      JR went above and beyond for us. We came in looking for a specific christmas tree. The website and floor said they were out. JR looked deeper and said one might be coming on a truck. He searched every box that came off that truck, even one that was tucked behind a bunch of other pallets (he had to get a fork truck driver to move the pallets so he could look) and found the tree! Most employees would have stopped before that point. JR was friendly, motivated and really impressed us.

                          Brand new shed
                          I did an online quote for a shed & had to go in the store to get a manager’s approval for a 24 month interest free. When I walked in the first employee I seen I asked where I would go to complete this purchase. The associate whose name is Rose, immediately said she would take care of me. She had to call Tuff She’d to complete my order and then called the Home Depot credit card service to make sure I would get the 24 month interest free. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Rose is a Rockstar!!! Now hopefully Tuff Shed’s delivery and installation will be another great experience.

                                Better than in the past
                                This location was poorly kept for a long time, but under new management the merchandise is no longer dusty, with damaged packaging, etc. I rarely liked to shop there and usual went to a competitor location. However, I am very pleased that the place has been cleaned and the employees that I met were friendly and helpful. A great change!

                                            Supervisors and Leadership at Fault
                                            Today, I had a horrible experience with the Garden Center clerk while checking out. I bought some pavers a few days ago and came to purchase 10 additional pavers. The clerk from my previous visit-Ms. Barbara was very helpful. However, today the clerk was having difficulty identifying the vintage pavers. Also, she stated that they no longer pull up telephone numbers to look up individuals for their military account. Really? I told her I was here 4 days ago with no issue. She never gave me eye contact, never apologize for me waiting over 15 minutes for her to figure it out because she did not seek any assistance. I took my pavers, explained the situation to the second clerk inside the store. She started to explain that I would have to go online, blah, blah, blah. At that point, I gave her the receipt of my "previous purchase x 4 days ago) with the paver information. Finally, she finalized my purchase using my old receipt. I'm glad that I had my receipt. No apologies or anything. Clearly, this is a supervisor's and leadership issue. Where's the training? It was drizzling outside and apparently this clerk could care less, shielded her face with her hands, never spoke a word except to tell me she could not complete my transaction (military discount). Come on Home Depot leadership, you could do better than this!!! Train your employees because this could have turned out very ugly indeed!

                                                      NORBERT, GILBERT, ANDREA, ADRIAN, NORMA, AND A HANDFUL OF OTHERS CARRY THIS ENTIRE STORE WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IM IN THIS STORE SOMETIMES 7-10 TIMES A DAY AN VERY FEW EVER GREET PEOPLE BUT THEM. AN OR ARE EAGER TO HELP PEOPLE. EACH AREA SHOULD HAVE THE SHELVES FRONTED AN STOCKED WITH BACKSTOCK BEFORE THE END OF EACH SHIFT AN OUTAGES CLEARED FROM INVENTORY BEING WRONG, SELF CHECKOUT SUCKS NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE THERE. NO ONE WANTS TO CHECK THEMSELVES OUT, AN EMPLOYEES RUNNING CASH REGISTERS ARENT TRAINED ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE THEY SCAN EACH SKU BECAUSE IT MAY LOOK THE SAME BUT ISNT WHICH LEADS TO INVENTORY BEING OFF, AN THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO LOOK ITEMS UP, YOUR LOOKUP SHOULD BE SIMPLER AN IT CLEARLY IS NOT ESPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE EVEN LOOKING AT. AND YOU HAVE A LOT OF THEM. THE LOADING ZONE BEING BLOCKED OFF, COMPLETELY ME OFF, FIX YOUR PARKING LOT TO ACCOMODATE BIGGER TRUCKS AN TRAILERS WITH ANGLED PARKING.

                                                        I went to buy glow and the dark paint and I couldn’t find it. I asked an employee named Pat about it and he impressed me by finding it right away and then asked if there was any else I needed. That impressed me and I will be returning to the paint area to shop. The second employee Jessica actually went looking for the barcode for a plant I bought. She was nice and didn’t seemed put out. Stores should have more employees like that to ease the shopping experience.
