Aurora was awesome in helping assist me at the Layton location!

Bought a new dishwasher and the employee went through each service before signing. It was very helpful. No surprises.

Store is well organized, employees are very helpful and friendly.

Employees ready and willing to help find the items I need on every visit.

The product I wanted was hard for me to find. It took 3 employees to help me find it. There are a lot of new employees now but the last one new right where to find what I was looking for. All of them tried to be helpful.

So I went in to purchase a Dewalt tool only. They have them locked up which is unfortunate but part of life. When I found what I wanted which was a tool only from Dewalt. Well here comes a young man that has a Milwaukee shirt on and asked if I needed help. I told him what I wanted and boy I wish I had not. His attitude changed and he really let me know it. I have a bunch of Dewalt tools and batteries and do not want to change but he was trying everything to get me to. But since I would not he did not like that at all.

I have been going to this store for the last 13 years. I have seen it’s ups and downs over the years but I have to say if you ever need help ask for Zack in lumber! He is awesome and willing to help you and go the extra mile to make sure you are getting the product that you need for the job.

Layton Home Depot is my "go to" to place. The self check outs really speed up things. Most employees are friendly and ready to help, if needed. A face mask requirement is posted at the front entrance but no store employee was there to enforce it. Some customers opted not to mask. I don't like wearing a mask but do so in the hope of diminishing the spread of the corona virus. Enforce your requirement or abolish it.

I have greatly enjoyed my experience so far as a Pro-Xtra member. For years, I lost out on the opportunities and benefits of this great system. Please stop in and talk to Casey, Ken, or Liberty. They'll take great care of you!

This store is not a real hardware store. In order to get what I need or want I have to travel to stores in other places. Th suggestion is to greatly expand this store. Also, because this big box store drove out the real hardware stores, they have decreased what they have and drove prices up to the point of ridiculous. LOWER PRICES!!

I was notified by email and text message that my Traeger grill i ordered online was ready to be picked up. after I arrived at the store i had to wait nearly an hour before i received help at the service desk then the store associate searched around the store for half an hour before notifying me they did not have a grill for me since i needed my grill in the box and did not want it assembled. they proceeded to call the riverdale location to talk with their customer service to see if riverdale could fill my order. Riverdale said they could so Layton transferred my order to Riverdale and they sent me to riverdale. after arriving at riverdale i waited at the service desk for an hour or longer before i was helped. once i was helped i was led out front to a assembled grill, trying to keep my composure and not yell at the store employee that i needed a grill in the box she notified me they did not have a grill still in the box, later i received a phone call from the store notifying me that they found a grill in the box so i returned the next day to retrieve it, then all went smoothly.

Has everything you need, customer service is very kind, most things are very organized and neat.

This store exceeds customer service. Very different from the Ogden store where they act inconvenienced to help with anything. Its worth the drive for sure. Though they were super busy they never treated me as such. Made a stressful experience not so bad!

They need to make sure items are by the correct tags so when u get to the check out you’re not paying TRIPLE the price expected!

This rating isn't about the store per se is it is about an individual that is suppose to be an ambassador of the store. The assistant manager Tiffany isn't qualified to represent this store. The simple encounter I had was less then desirable from a manager.

Took an hour to get help cutting molding, then treated like I was an inconvenience.

The associate in tool rental was very unprofessional he was using profanity in the presence of children. It seemed like this person was having a bad day when helping other customers when returning tools in tool rental he would throw tools around not seeming to care about them and was very short with customers. In my opinion this individual should be addressed by management he was rude to a number of customers

It was well stock and easy to fimd items I been looking for never had any problems been a nice clean strore and friendly people

IT IS A NICE STORE BUT MANY TIMES YOU CAN'T FIND WHAT WE NEED ,BECAUSE THEY KEEP TELLING US THE STORE IS A SMALLER STORE AND CAN'T CARRY EVERYTHING.

Really disappointed with this location. Bought a new dryer. I was really excited. Brought it home & hooked it up. Would not turn on. Thought maybe I had a faulty cord, so I hooked up my old machine (same cord) & it turned on just fine. Looked the new machine over. You could tell it was previously owned. Found lint & strands of hair in the base pan. A big chunk of lint & a candy wrapper fell out from the vent tube when I was moving the machine. The base of the machine was banged up with dents on both sides. It didn't come packaged in a box. I wasn't worried about that because it was a floor model but now I know, it is because the box had been discarded by the previous owner. There was no manual for the machine. Was really excited about this machine. Rented a Home Depot truck & brought it home. Hauled it up a flight of stairs, which was a pain because I am coming off should surgery the prior year. Now I have to haul it back...and probably have to pay AGAIN to rent a home depot truck. I was sold a lemon. No disclosure that it was previously owned. Found out this machine was manufactured in 2017. Nearly a 3 year old machine. I really feel like I was swindled. I will never buy appliances from this location again.

All the associates involved in assisting with my purchase was top notch. Bob and Nikki was very kind and helpful. Located what I needed and the store was clean!

Purchased a tool chest and because it had some minor paint damage and a drawer that was slightly skewed but yet functional, the customer service rep (Cecelia) helped get a manager (Clair) to visit with me. The chest is also very heavy and I would be unable to unload it at home without help. We worked out an agreement where the manager discounted the chest to equal to the cost of me paying for delivery. That was a $79 to $99 in savings! While the chest may have been purchased by someone else at full price regardless of the minor damage, I think the manager also was receptive to the proposed exchange for discounting the chest to help me with the delivery and unloading. He sold a product and in turn, made a new customer. It’s not the closest HD but I can easily drive a few minutes more to do future purchases and get help! Sometimes getting help at stores like HD is not easy to come by. I got service as if I was shopping at Nordstroms, and that’s not an exaggeration.

Always have everything I need in stock and will always answer questions.

My husband and my son love to shop at home depot because they have a lot of choices from home projects and appliances and more.

Thank you for the prosperity in well finished jobs at any of the stores but thru the Home Depot # 8583 store in Layton ut. I wish to do a lot more at home and at a position of indescribable need. Good thinking on the Home Depot in Layton to be the gate way to a lane of opportunity in every corner and thru fast registers that keep the momentum of the day trying to help a custermer at any point in time even thru a employment or getting the kids the healthy attention every years to come and keep a spacious thought at bay.

Still had all the things I needed and checked myself out even though I saw no employees.

Though the Doors&Windows people were busy, another employee, Sherri, was able to use their door builder app to get my special order doors ordered and at a discount price, way to go Home Depot and Sherri.
