A great store with the most friendly helpful staff. This type of operation will always bring people back.

Good selection of straight lumber, isles were a little crowded.

Every employee I have dealt with in this store has been 1. Very knowledgeable, 2. Extremely willing to help me, 3. Patient with my questions and very helpful with their answers and suggestions. The resulting purchases greatly aided my home improvement tasks.

Just had an employee help me get in and out of the store last night in just 5 minutes when I could have otherwise spent an hour trying to figure out what I needed. Super helpful!

The Layton store is very well organized and the helpers are very knowledgeable about the store . The store was very clean and organized. Assistance was always available and accurate. The associates were always very helpful.

The plumbing area has an employee who always explains everything that I have any questions about and gives me recommendations on how to repair, great gentleman plus a X plumber I think, really most all employees are great, even the old high school classmates that work at the Layton store. Even the lady that runs the floor scrubbier is very nice.

Wonderful appliance experts. Fast delivery and installation. Their five year warranty beats the competition.

The Layton Home Depot has very helpful employees. Kyle in the Garden Center was awesome today.

The employees are friendly, store is neat and well stocked. Location is convenient and store is easy to navigate.

Everyone behind the cash register as well as the associate in tool rental were amazing. The floor associates are sparse and many times unable to answer my questions. Many times I have assisted other customers with their questions as the associate was unable to. The store is well-stocked and other than Saturdays is very clean. Their plumbing specialist know their stuff as well as lumber and electrical. Tool rental is amazing. I would give it a four-star because of the associates lack of knowledge however the store is extremely busy and I believe that accounts for part of it. I give it five stars because they always have what I need. And tool rental is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I always come to Home Depot and buy Behr Paint products. They are high quality. I have used Behr Paint for over 20 years, just in my home. I can depend on it. The paint department people are willing to help and knowledgeable. The lighting department has served us well - we have ordered through them and gotten good results. We had two outside screen/glass doors installed this year. The installer was hard to schedule and connect with, but the final installation was great. The store was clean, and I liked the fact that they had manned cashiers that were friendly, and took care of my check out quickly. I don't like the self-check-out when I am buying items at Home Depot.

Enjoyed my experience. Customer friendly. Professional service. Found the items I needed. Got a military discount. Pleased with my product. The $47.94. Total with my $9.59 discount paid off.

I have had great customer service at Home Depot by all of the employees but especially Deborah in the door department! She’s very helpful and knows her products well.

I love the fact that every time I go, I never have any issues finding someone to help me. This store is very organized and the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Over all the store is good enough. Just the last couple of times I have been there and needed a question answered I had to walk up to customer service instead of being able to find staff in the department I needed help in. Or there is only one person in that dept. that can help me and there are several people in need of assistance.

Home Depot is attempting to get away from customer service in their check out stands so be prepared to be an "employee" without any salary or benefits during your check out experience. The Layton Store is well stocked and has several seasoned employees that can readily answer questions and offer suggestions but they seem to be cutting costs by hiring teenagers without any experience or desire to be bothered

Products were easy to find. Employees were friendly and helpful

This store has improved immensely in the amount of product within the store and the organization that has provided excellent service from their employees. The product is neatly stowed on the shelves and visible for all customers to see. I am pleased to see the customer self service at the cash registers that allows the customer to scan the materials he has, and provides time for the employees to assist customers that may have issues with the scanners. For me, I find the time that I save at the store is 50%.

Check out person was excellent. Service desk and product... well terrible! Took in some defective Ryobi batteries that the stem is charred and melted where they go into the charger and they won't charge anymore. This is the 3rd time I've had this happen to Ryobi batteries. The batteries seem to be engineered to last a little longer than the warranty or they are all just defective. Since it had been more than 90 days since I bought them the store wouldn't exchange them. I'm done with Home Depot and Ryobi battery powered tools.

With the help of the HD website and store staff, I was able to find the compressor that I needed, pay for it, and leave, all in 30 minutes. The really outstanding part of shopping there was the employees. Cheerful and very helpful staff!

Not a fan of the new checkout lanes ... cost cutting should not impact me as the customer.

If I wanted to self checkout I would shop online somewhere else.

It's a pretty decent store. If you want paint mixed, you need to come before the rush, but they do a great job, and have always had the stock I needed on hand. The lumber isn't always the best, but if you come on Thursday mornings, it's when they stock the 70% off bin with all the scrap. It's pretty much a steal if you can re-mill or work with only portions of a board. Don't bother asking about plumbing though because 4 out of 5 times, the one person who knows about plumbing is doing something non plumbing related. It's also pretty easy to rent a truck at this home depot, just make sure you get it back on time with a full tank. Overall, it's a decent store, and I can't think of a reason to go to the store in Clinton over this one.
