There is always someone on staff to give expert advice. I search out my favorite in the Kitchen area, Amy, whenever I have a project. I just completed replacing my kitchen countertops and am so happy with the results! Thanks, Amy, for your help!

I came in to make a large purchase and was told to go to cutomer service for check out, two women at the desk were talking stories with another employee avoiding helping customers. They made eye contact but was not helpful in getting the sale closed. I ended up leaving the store and calling the store manager. Taylor was very helpful and apologized and closed the sale. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning to this store.

Me being a general contractor, I visit almost every home depot around MN. This home depot, by far, has the most personable, friendly, yet knowledgeable employees out of them all. Very satisfied with every visit

Assistant Manager Taylor has got to be one of the hardest working people I’ve ever encountered. Thankful that he was there to help me on my most recent shopping trip and still in awe by his work ethics and overall attitude. Also, I found this location to be noticeably cleaner than most. I didn’t run into ANY empty boxes or piles of random merchandise, like I normally do when shopping at a Home Depot. Something else I noticed was that there weren’t groups of associates congregating throughout, which was refreshing! The ones that weren’t busy seemed approachable and friendly. Something I can’t stand about Home Depot is their checkout situation and their bags. Who designed that set up and how did it get approved!!! I’m starting to think it has to be intentional. How do you expect a customer to check them selves out with a set up that only provides a little 10”x10” flimsy area for scanned merchandise and bags that INSTANTLY RIP?! You have to purchase a bucket just to transport your goods but I can’t possibly store another bucket in my apartment. Yes, apartment—-try carrying a load of Home Depot stuff up to an apartment in a bag made of the most rip-able thin plastic ever invented. (I’d be more than happy to help ya’ll come up with new checkout stations, I have retail management experience, design experience, am a self proclaimed engineer and most importantly-I have first had valuable customer perspective. Ha ha). I don’t prefer Maplewood but I will probably frequent more now that I know they’ve got this top tier Home Depot location! Definitely will be using this location for any major projects just because I have a greater level of trust and respect after having met the one manager..I can’t imagine some like that would work for and with a subpar crew, I’d be willing to bet he could get a job anywhere, so it definitely says something about the store.

Is nice that I can usually find what I need pretty quickly. Very helpful and nice staff! Stella helped me find the item I wanted and was very nice.

I can find everything I need at this store. If there is something I can't find, the employees are very friendly and help me find it.

Before you sign a contract and hand over your credit card, make sure the materials you selected are actually available. Question everything you're told (especially by the plumbing subcontractor) and double check all details, like dates and estimates. Mistakes seem to happen at a high rate of frequency

The staff at this Home Depot are always incredibly helpful and go above and beyond to take care of their customers! The paint department is always timely and helpful and the managers at this location treat their customers very well.

Today's visit to Home Depot in Maplewood was nothing short of exceptional, especially with the holiday season in full swing. I arrived with the intention of purchasing a Christmas tree that was advertised on sale. Initially, I was assisted by a gentleman who diligently helped me search for the last available tree. Despite our efforts, we couldn't find it, leading him to direct me to customer service for further assistance. At customer service, I was pleasantly informed that I could purchase the display tree. What followed was a remarkable display of teamwork, as Gary and two other team members came together to help disassemble the tree. Their coordination and efficiency were impressive, ensuring that the tree could be easily transported in my car. Gary, in particular, stood out for his helpfulness and friendly demeanor. He went above and beyond by not only assisting in the disassembly but also helping me fit the tree into my car. His kind gesture and the overall helpfulness of the staff left a lasting impression. I am immensely grateful for the service provided and the pleasant shopping experience. Gary and the team's efforts at Home Depot in Maplewood have assured that I will be a returning customer. Their commitment to customer satisfaction and the spirit of helpfulness truly embody the essence of the holiday season.

Two summers ago my husband and I had a bad experience at this same Maplewood store, We both use canes and had asked to wait in a shaded area before checking out with our purchase since it was very hot. Even though we made our request with the store manager, we were refused , My experience today was much different. I was given all the help I needed.

I have been doing some home improvements. I have had to visit the store numerous times. The employees are helpful and courteous every time.

My spouse and I went to get hardwood floors and was impressed with the service that we received. Ashley Weeda and Zoe Wurzel went above and beyond to assist us with our needs. It is definitely a great place to shop.

We spent about $13K on new kitchen cabinets and countertops. The kitchen designer, Amy, was amazing! I am a very picky shopper, by Amy (and everybody at this store) made our experience easy, fun, and .... saved us a lot of money. That's why we drove to this store all the way from Golden Valley. Great job, Amy & team!

Did research before shopping for a new washer & dryer. Home Depot was very competitive with pricing and offered a good variety of brands in my price wrangle. Associate was extremely helpful & knowledgeable which made my decision easier. There was no pressure to buy & all sales & promotions were explained. Would definitely shop this store again for any other major appliance.

I felt I was imposing on Miranda the sales rep. at the Blaine store., she lacked product and store policy information so I left as a disgruntled customer. I then opted to deal with Ben H at the Maplewood store who was very knowledgable with excellent P.R. skills making buying a pleasant experience. I won't go back to the Blaine store.

I bought a hot water heater and thought great I can get some money back on my purchase and shame on the site to submit it will not let me send it thru

Lumber dept was willing to go the extra mile to help me out. I was very happy with the experience and will definitely return for future needs!

I over bought tile for my bathroom remodel. I walked right up to the return desk and Tori happily greeted me and quickly made my return with ease. Store was clean and staff were friendly.

I asked 2 employees a question after interrupting their personal conversation they had been ignoring me to carry on. I received dirty looks, blank stares, a reluctant not even half assed attempt to help answer my question while making my presence feel completely inconvenient. I looked up the product that I needed finally & was told by one of the unhelpful employees that it was an online order only, not in stock. I looked at the aisle location & found everything I needed & was told was not in stock. I was turned away with no attempt at helping me & could have left without giving them any business. It turned out not the be a paint department related inquiry, however I mentioned plaster 7 times & not once did the employees send me in that direction or call someone to help me. They were beyond rude, lazy, and capable of doing a job at a home improvement store. I could have done their job better today.

Everyone we had contact with was very knowledgeable and kind. At the pro desk Kris was amazing and patient with us and extremely helpful, very willing to go the extra mile!

I was very pleased with the help I received in what I purchased at Home Depot today.
