When I entered the door of the store (at around 6:15 pm on Thursday, 04/01) the big guy (your employee) at the door basically pushed my granddaughter while she was walking in (with the cast on her foot). When I asked where I could find the item (garage door lubricant) another store employee sent me to a wrong isle. After the yet another employee gave the right isle they never explained that the item was on a back side which was hard to find. When we were checking items out, the giddy cashier did not even offer a bag for our (7) items.

Today the associate named Janet or Janice in the lumber department provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She left me in tears after she screamed that I was entitled and refused to help me. I asked two different associates to page someone to help me in lumber. I needed to figure out which plywood to use to make a platform for my kid's project. Janet/Janice approached me with a male coworker after I had patiently waited 15 minutes for help. I wasn't upset about the time waited. She approached already seeming disgruntled and asked me what I needed help with. I told her I needed to get a piece of wood that was 20x60inches and she replied that it wasn't possible because they have a "one cut per board" policy. I asked for her opinion on how I would find a solution to getting something that size. She condescendingly replied that I should get a saw. She spoke to me as if I was a nuisance and an idiot. I tried to ask her a few more questions and I couldn't handle her aggression and told her that I waited 15 minutes for help and she wasn't acting like she wanted to help me. She told me that I was aggressive, she wouldn't be helping me, and hastily walked away yelling "entitled much!" Her male coworker stayed back with me and apologized for her irrational attack. I tried to move on asking him for my options and he was extremely helpful (I wish I could remember his name) but I broke down crying as he tried to help me and I asked to talk to a manager. I am not sure of the title of the person I spoke with (I was told the manager was on lunch), but he was a kind man who apologized for his employee's behavior and found a solution for my project. This Janet/Janice woman should not be a customer service representative on the sales floor. She was extremely aggressive. I have never received such poor and unprofessional service. I was terrified and embarrassed. I don't think I will ever return to the Maplewood location because of Janet/Janice. I'm also upset that my two young children had to witness this interaction.
