Generally, here at this store the people help you to find what you need + give good advice as well.

I am a contractor and I spend most of my days at home depot getting materials. I used to love going to New Milford store but recently this home depot is changing for the worst with the new management. the associates treats you like you are their to steal stuff the way they will look at you they don't greet you all they do is stair at you and if you ask for help they will say it's not their department with an attitude as I was there today I had a cart full of stuff and I needed some plants so I decided to go outside where they keep the plants as you all know as I was standing outside looking at the plants this guy Manny came up to me ask if I paid for the stuff in the cart I said no he then said to me with and attitude and I mean like I am a theft kind of attitude he said the cart needs to be inside so I ask him how am I supposed to get the plants in the cart he told leave the cart inside and carry the plants back and forth. My experience with this associate was very unprofessional and disrespectful I really hope someone do something about this store so it can be like the store I used to know.

We bought multiple items of patio furniture and were concerned about whether it would fit in the car. Dan offered to help us load our car and found a way to fit all the items in both safely and securely. Without his help we would not have been able to take the items home to use the next day. He truly went above and beyond to help us with enthusiasm and good will. He made our trip to Home Depot a much more enjoyable experience. We very much hope he will recognized for his hard work and kindness.

I've gone multiple times as I'm a contractor and today at the paint area the guy refuse to attend me 10+ minutes waiting on him in the area that specifically says order here he decided to tell me he couldn't help me to find help elsewhere while laughing I wanted to leave so bad but I needed the paint for a project I'm doing for a client so I went to customer service they came back with me that guy's attitude changed completely a lady right away came to help after she had also seen us standing there for 10+ minutes and she was talking to another employee

We went to the store for carpeting and previously on another occasion laminated flooring. The young lady in the flooring section Donna is wonderful. She is very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend her to help if you need carpeting.

Extremely helpful sales associates who care about there customers. Clean well organized store

This store is always clean and inviting. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We drive 30 minutes to go to the New Milford Home Depot for ones closer are not as clean or have customer service workers.

Mike & bob made my frustrating home project a success! They were there to guide & help me purchase the right amount of supplies!

ALWAYS PLEASED WHENEVER I SHOP AT THE STORE

Everyone at this store is friendly, professional and knowledgeable they try their best to help you find whatever you need and always ask you questions about what projects you are working on so that they can provide you with what you need. The store is very clean and everything is always neatly stock. Everyone always greet me by my name. I am a contractor and I always need materials and when I do i make sure I go to this store because of the friendly and professional staff. It will be a shame if I didn't mention some of the names at this store so Val the manager, Mustafa the plumbing guy , Lars, Caleb, Daniel from self checkout, Andry from the tool department you guys are the best and I appreciate all the help you guys give me when I there. I will recommend this store to everyone.

the store is always clean and when possible very well stocked. The employees are helpful and courteous from appliance garden center every department has knowledgeable sales people.

I have gone to 3 different Home Depot in the area and now exclusively to New Milford store. Although it is sometimes crowded and employees can be short or scarce, I find the BEST people behind the doors in NEW MILFORD. They will go the extra mile and they are genuine. I have also found the store to be well-stocked, clean, an easy online order pick-up.

The store is very conveniently located and the employees are helpful and friendly. I especially like being able to order products and have them sent to the store for pick-up, which saves on shipping and handling charges.

Great and thoughtful managers Deb and Val, firm about rules, yet understanding that people have different ways of viewing things.

One of the cleanest and friendliness Home Depot’s I’ve ever shopped in.

This Home Depot has a particularly friendly and helpful staff especially in Mike D'Ambrosio who goes out of his way to make sure you are getting the help you need. He takes the extra moment to direct you or show you in person where some item is when in doubt. As well, there seem to be plenty of staff on duty to help find a particular product. They work together too, to find that one item that doesn't seem to be on the shelf. It's always a good experience to visit this HD! Kudos to all who work there! Nice job, thank you all !

An excellent little store, well maintained, cleaned, and staffed. People are attentive and friendly. I required a little extra help this time, and the associate who helped me (Lars) was exceptionally helpful and patient.

Michelle in Merchandising and Tina in Customer Service are awesome! They were Helpful, professional, and have great positive attitudes. They made an otherwise less then desirable experience into one that had a positive outcome with their willingness to take the time to help. They are the reason for the 5 Stars. If it wasn’t for them the store would have a negative review...

Home depot store in New Milford is two thumbs up. Their quick,courteous, professionals that seem to go out of their way for their customers. All in all, it's a great shopping experience. Plus it seems they have what you're looking for...

Great store, with helpful employees!

Even in busy times staffing has to be ready to take on the call but more then but listen and understand how to best service a customer. You don't send them back 3 times for a product before calling a person that could help them. You don't answer questions in snide ways because you think i should know the answer. There were highlights of good employees who shined who deserve kudos, but most of my visit was definitely not enjoyable.

Horrible customer service, waited almost 10 minutes while Donna chatted to a co-worker before finally getting frustrated enough to just walk the store until I found what I wanted. I will never be shopping here again.

If you are ever shopping at the New Milford store and you need assistance, look for Guido!! He is extremely helpful and a joy to chat with.

PROS and bulk shoppers…please read and save yourself the headache, this isn't the store for us: We flip and restore small multi-families and buy in bulk a lot, we prefer The Home Depot (THD) for the bulk savings and convenience but we previously shopped at the Glastonbury or Middletown locations. IF you do anything similar or find yourself needing pickup/in store assistance/expect to get in and out in a reasonable time, take the extra time to drive and go to a different location, you'll probably end up saving time. The store was clean, and the stock was fine, no problems there. Long story short, we rented a truck to haul 88 bags of insulation (33 R-13's) (35 Mineral Wool R-24's) (20 bags of blow in with rented machine). I asked if I could pay for it and just pick it up in multiple trips (so I don't have to wait on line like we all do) In this case it was worse since I was burning time on a rented truck. Normally, especially if you’re paying for a rental, you pull in the PRO bay, load up and go,15/20 minutes in and out. NOT HERE! When we went in, the associates couldn't find the orders, nothing was pulled, the (assistant) manager Val was nowhere to be found to help remedy the situation. In any event, the store is fine, but not for pros or serious shoppers, took us 2+ hours to get out of there the first time and another hour + to wait for the second load to get pulled...after all was said and done the (assistant) manger Val told the associate that was trying to help us that she would not adjust the truck rental charge. Randy was great, Dennis tried his best to save the day, but two people alone cannot save a store unfit to outfit the local PROS.

Don't waste you time going to any other Home Depot store ...go to New Milford. Everyone here is friendly & helpful. The store is so organized and clean...they had what I needed in stock, and were so willing to help me locate and secure the item. I would like to give a special shout out to my sales associate, Catherine, as well as one of the store managers, Deb. Thank you for all your efforts. Thank you all for having such great attitudes, esp. meaningful during this pandemic. Very much appreciated!

Would not honor online delivery order confirmed date. Offered no solution to correct their mistake. Customer service representative had a “take it or leave it” attitude.
