VERY HELPFUL PEOPLE

If you're not a handy person, even walking into one of these types of stores can be a bit daunting. Half the time, you don't even know where to go or what it is you're even looking for. Which can make you hesitant you ask for help because you don't want to seem like an idiot. But this place is nothing but friendly! From the moment I walked in, Roseanna right at the front was super friendly, & not in that fake "customer service" way. She seemed to genuinely want me to have a good experience. And after I explained why I was there, she put me right in touch with another employee who knew his stuff (seriously, Jim from plumbing is THE guy). All in all, if you're just a normal person like me, there really isn't a better place in town to go for sincere, efficient help!

Store well organized staff was friendly,knowledgeable and helpful

The store is always clean and well organized. Whenever I need help with an item in the hardware Dept. I look for an associate named Dawn. She is extremely knowledgeable about the products and is a great help no matter what department the product is located in.

Karen R, the kitchen designer, was attentive and very helpful with our appliance purchase. She was knowledgeable and friendly.

We have always shopped at this Home Depot since we moved to upstate New York. Great customer service, from specialty areas (appliances) to customer pickup, to registers and the associates always saying hello. So refreshing to find people who really do a great job and are very nice too

The Oneonta store is staffed by exceptionally friendly and courteous professionals, and the availability of merchandise from A to Z is outstanding.

GOT PLUMBING PROBLEMS? TALK TO JIM IN PLUMBING HE'LL REDUCE YOUR PAIN AND CUSSING AS YOU TRY TO FIX YOUR TOILET

Great experience on last three visits to Oneonta store because of "Jim" from plumbing. First encounter with Jim was in plumbing, second was Jim guiding us in tool dept and third was lighting. We had avoided the store if possible in the past since employees were scarce and not well informed when they were found. The need to hire professionals such as Jim from plumbing cannot be stressed enough.

Store was kinda dirty and shabby looking .

I've never written a recommendation before but our shopping experience at the Oneonta NY store has continuously been outstanding. The store is clean, organized and well stocked. The sales associates are friendly and helpful. On our last visit Sales Associate Jim D. walked us to the aisle and helped select items needed for us to complete the task. It was as if we had our very own personal shopper. The check out lines are very short and the cashiers are friendly.

We really appreciated being helped so quickly after entering the store. Found just what we needed right away. Sales Associate was efficient, friendly, & helpful. Painless visit to your store - thank you!

Good customer service. The rep in flooring helped us find the flooring we needed, at a reduced price, at another store. He then helped us set up picking up the order, even though it took an hour that it took us to travel there. It was very appreciated. The cashier was also very upbeat and helpful. They both made our shopping experience a very good one.

Rich is the second employee at rentals that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I think the other guy's name was Keith; Keith was also very friendly and helpful; Rich however, was a particularly helpful associate. I expressed concern about my lack of knowledge and Rich taught me everything I needed to know about operating the drill I rented and installing the dry erase board. He did all of this in an expedient fashion and I felt reassured. I have worked in retail before, and he is a star associate. Store was clean, I got assistance in an expedient fashion, I found the products I was looking for easily. I will be coming back to this location

The employees are great! Always very helpful. When we bought 4 appliances last year, the associates in this department were informative and very helpful! We love the products! The store is immaculate and so was the ladies room!

Do not waste your time going here, it's worth it to go anywhere else.

Store was clean but a little congested with merchandise not easy to get around especially if someone was behind you or coming in front of you small for amount of items in store
