Most everyone is willing to offer help. Especially Ketan. He has always been a favorite of mine. I look for him when I walk in the store. He is very mild mannered and easy to deal with.

Everyone was helpful to find so not practical things very nice employees and store was set up for the virus with implementing masks and cleaners..... it was just a little crowded as many were picking up in the front of the store. To be expected

Rude employees

It is nice to see more employees in the store and not have to hunt for someone to help you. Lee the Pro Cashier is always Awesome and Friendly as is Renee

You will find great customer service when shopping at this store...with a smile too!

THE STORE WAS CLEAN AND THE EMPLOYEES WERE EXTREMELY HELPFULL & KNOWLEDGEABLE. ONE EMPLOYEE COULD NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION WAS HE WAS NEWLY HIRED 4 DAYS AGO, BUT TOOK THE TIME TO FIND THE RIGHT ASSISTANT TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ON GAS GRILLS. HE WANTED TO STAY WITH US SO HE COULD LEARN ABOUT GAS GRILL PRODUCTS AND ACCESORIES. I wish OTHER STORE EMPLOYEES FOLLOWED THESAME PROCESS.

Compared to other HD locations, this is one of the best. The employees here ARE eager to help customers. Their knowledge of the product base is extensive (we've always come away with the sense that our purchases are the RIGHT things we need, even if we went not being certain). Furthermore, their knowledge of internal HD promotions, etc. have given us substantial cost savings - always a great thing. This has NOT been my experience at other locations. The Pittsfield crew should be the example that other locations follow.

We stood in line at the kitchen appliances waiting to purchase a dishwasher. While looking at the dishwashers we were never greeted or noticed by any employee. After we decided upon a dish washer we stood by the desk with the computers in the appliance section. Both workers there were helping 1 other family. We figured it wouldn’t take to long so we stood in line and waited. The only people around besides the family’s already being assisted. After 30 mins no one had acknowledged us or even let us know that they would be with us shortly or thanking us for our wait. After 40 mins I tried to look for another employee to at least see if they could pull the item as we has ordered food at the local chilies and our pick up time was approaching and because Home Depot was going to close in 15 mins. The employees were in such rushes that they avoided any eye contact with me and rushed by without even a glance. I went back the kiosk were the employees were still assisting the same guests trying to apply them for credit cards and still were not acknowledged or even told when they would be able to help us. We waited until the closing announcements started and then gave up trying to purchase our dishwasher and left. I understand the store was busy and the employees were helping people but to go 45 mins standing in line and not even have an employee LOOK at us is mind boggling had someone just let us know to wait or attempted to call another employee for help I would have waited however long needed. We had picked out our dishwasher, had no questions, just needed to pay for one and unfortunately had to leave without.

Had all I needed and friendly employees :)

This store is always clean and organized the associates are always knowledgeable and innovative and can walk you through a process to make your situation easier for instance one gentlemen showed me how to solder a copper pipe step by step and what I needed to do the job so I didn't buy what I didn't need thank you.

Neat and clean good team members friendly cashiers and excellent customer service

When I have a project, I come to Home Depot with a list of questions, sometimes pictures on my phone, sometimes pictures from a magazine... the associates at our Home Depot are always so patient, kind and helpful. No matter how stupid my question is, they never make me feel stupid for asking. I frequently go in thinking I am going to do my project one way and leave with a totally different plan and once I am done, realize my new plan made all the difference. I also love that returns are so easy. Thank you Pittsfield Home Depot! You guys ROCK!

We got tremendous support and advice from Tim Roberts for a cement patio clean up. We also got support from Will Smith upon checkout who was extremely helpful and friendly.

Last weekend I visited the Pittsfield Home Depot to have duplicate copies of keys made. I had been doing errands all day and by the time I arrived at the Home Depot I was exhausted,, and just wanted to get in and out. I asked a young gentleman about having some duplicate keys made and he immediately stopped what he was doing and said he would gladly make the duplicate keys for me. I regret that I'm unable at this time to remember his name. But this young man was very pleasant and gave me the full uninterrupted time needed to fulfill my need for duplicate keys. He then took the time to walk me over to the cashier whose name was Mary. Like the young gentleman had been, Mary was also very pleasant and courteous. She asked if I had found everything I was looking for, and her uniquely pleasant demeanor made me feel like my business in the store that day was appreciated. Over many years I've done a lot of shopping in many different types of stores locally and in other parts of the country. I can honestly say that these two young people offered exceptional retail service, and for that I believe they they should both be recognized as having done so.

First of all, this isn't a neighborhood hardware store but it feels like one! For big box stores like this, it's about the best I've been to. They are super nice about returns, Matt, Arron & Angelo are rock stars!!. They have some kickass experts in lighting & customer service!. I've gotten great advice in the plumbing & Tile aisles, Sometimes they don't have what I need but the staff will go above and beyond trying to help me find it. Everyone's been very helpful. So I'm really rating the people who work there,First of all, this isn't a neighborhood hardware store with a neighborhood feel, and I'm not rating it that way. Will be returning for any further purchases.

The Home Depot is one of the best home improvement store in Pittsfield. The customer service is the best and the employee will greet you at the door and take you to the right sale agent or employee that will help you find what you are looking for. The store is big and parking lot is always clean.

The associates are always willing to answer my questions and also show me where things are.

No one helps you here, everyone just passes you off to some other employee that knows nothing. If you ever want to get in and out, good luck. It'd probably be quicker to order online and wait a week for the product versus going into the store to buy. I think what bothers me as well is that some of the employees who actually know what they're doing will also complain about other employees lack of training and knowledge. Worst experience I've had at home Depot and unfortunately there's been a lot of them. Get your act together. Be more customer service oriented. DO BETTER.

If you are looking for appliances and need anything other than to hand over your money.....like knowledge of functionality, brand warranties, measurements or clearances shop elsewhere. The appliance staff are clerks to take money and ring sales ...... nothing more. What a shame.

The associates at the paint desk and the self checkout were great...I needed some guidance on paint choice and as always they were very knowledgeable...the self checkout was not busy so the attendant instead of just watching me came over and volunteered to help

Home Depot is a customer friendly store that employees will help you to find what you are looking for in order to complete your future home project... Your home project could be done by yourself and save money on it, but if you are looking for professional installation or independent contractor to finish your home project then you have come to the right place...

The people there are great and the store has what I need, if not they get it In ASAP

There seems to be a good number of employees standing around at the front of the store doing nothing. There is no need for folks to be waiting in line to check out. The self serve kiosks actually take longer to pass through. There seems to be a lot of "socializing" in the Pittsfield, Massachusetts store.
