THE STORE IS ALWAYS CLEAN,WELL ORGANIZED AND WELL STOCKED. EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND READY TO HELP IF NEEDED. IT'S MY GO TO PLACE WHEN EVER I DO A HOME PROJECT.

The store is clean airy and comfortable to stroll around. Staff is always helpful. I attended the Saturday morning workshop, How to tile a back splash. It was informative and interactive. The store personnel were helpful and answered questions from the group with patience and knowledge. They were extremely helpful in guiding us to the products as well as the use for each type. I feel confident that I could tile my kitchen back splash successfully. Check out the workshops! The information can be useful for anyone looking to get your hands dirty.

I find the store has most of what you need to build some thing new but parts to fix something like Knobs on a stove ,washing machine and other items that are hard to find . I believe if you sell it you should sell the parts to fix it.

Been using Home Depot on Preston for years doing business for my company. In the last 12 months, the service has been slipping greatly. In the evenings, there is very few who knows what is going on. God forbid if you need help. Time is money. When we spend over 30 minutes trying to find 6 good 2x4's all because the wood on the ground is badly twisted, full of knot holes, bowed and the pile is a hug mess, I lose money. I spoke with the cashier about this problem and asked to speak with a manager about this. The cashier fumbled around and told me it would take a little bit since they were all busy. The next day, the wood was still all in a big pile of a mess. Went to get some lag bolts. Reached in for 5/16 2 inch lags and pulled out 1/4, some 3 inch, some 2 1/2; all mixed up. Here lately several items we come to get on a regular basis is out of stock. This is happening to often. In business, we start early. Many times we are waiting at the door to open at 6 am to load up for the day. There is never anyone around anymore to help load, retrieve something from the top shelf, cut a piece of vinyl or even to ask about something your looking for. These last 12 months has been a steady decline for Home Depot. There was a time when you bought something at the lumber checkout next to the Pro Desk, you would get checked out in a matter of minutes. That was when a cashier named Beverly was there running the show. She was always on top of things and understood time is money. There was a time when you never saw wood in piles of twisted garbage. That was when a man named Coder was around keeping things clean, neat, the wood straightened out. Not the case now. You used to go to the tools and ask a man named Sam for something and he would steer you right to what you needed or gave some of his valuable experience to help you. Good luck now on finding anyone who even knows where the tools are located at. I used to go into the flooring and never have to wait; someone was always around. Now if you want some flooring or mini blinds cut, come back after 8 am. The only thing right now I would recommend to someone is the rental department. These guys are first class. Nick, John, Don, all great. There is a lady, not sure her name who is really good too. Wake up Home Depot. I went to Menards last week and when they open up in Louisville, Good Bye. And I bet the house so many will feel the same way as I do after they see how Menards does things, they will make the change too. Upper management better open their eyes to what is going on.

I have had to travel to every Home Depot in my area in search of a specific tile for my kitchen. Every store showed the item in stock, but when I got there the item could not be found. At the Preston store they had enough staff to actually help me locate the tile. I will make the Preston store my go-to store in the future.
