always friendly helpful staff if they don't have the item they will order it

Since moving to RI from NYC, I have been using this store because of the lay-out of merchandise and employee customer service. I travel alot and have shopped in many of your stores, and I find myself waiting to purchase from store #4285.

Like all big box stores the products sold here are often difficult to find within the cavernous behemoth of a building. BUT at this store, Pedro, a young employee went out of his way to assist. He was the embodiment of Raving Fans and Customer Satisfaction. He needs a raise!!!!

Associates are knowledgeable and friendly.

Cashier Mary in the garden center was very polite, patient and helpful.

I love this store people are so helpful especially the kitchen dept.

Illogical layout, we just wandered and wandered looking for what we needed. Once we finally got a disinterested employee to "help" us they sent us to totally the wrong aisle and part of the store. We never did get it, but we lost a lot of time.

This is a truly wonderful, welcoming store. I visit it often and have always had excellent service and expertise by the employees there. I have used probably every department there (lumber is my favorite). Springtime is a fabulous array of flowers and tools for gardening. I sincerely have always had fun there...yes it is actually fun! It is the employees there starting from the greeters, to each department's willingness to help in any way, that makes this a great Home Depot.

We are in the process of a major renovation project and Home Depot "is our second home" We are there and we would like to give a public shootout to Bryan Latash. Bryan was getting ready for his break and notice that we needed some assistance. He stop and totally make us felt like a value customer.. This was the best customer service we have experience at any retail store. We are both Sales and Marketing professional and value the customer excellence experience and Bryan deliver both... Job well done Bryan Latash!!!!

I have always a good experience shopping at this store, your clerks are ready and willing to help and spend the necessary time with customers.

This store does a great job with customers orders especially if that order was picked at the store, plus delivery times are great here. This store is one of the better Home Depot stores.

Just bought a suite of appliances for new home at Charles Street location. Patrick Kiernan was outstanding! Knowledgable and customer-focused. My delivery went really bad and Patrick and the whole team at Home Depot helped me through it with 110% support and courtesy. Despite the bad delivery service provided by a Home Depot vendor -- I rate them the highest I could and appreciate what they did. GREAT JOB AND YOU HAVE A LOYAL CUSTOMER!! Lastly -- I also liked how they communicated as a team. So when Patrick wasn't working, Don or one of team had picked it up -- really great service.

I visit the Providence store all the time, to buy home improvement items and just to enjoy browsing your merchandise. I sometimes go three or four times a week, even if there's nothing on my list that day. For two years, I was getting my previous home ready to put on the market. Now I'm outfitting my new condominium just the way we want it to look.

Management very disrespectful towards customers.

The paint and lighting departments are excellent. I use them almost daily. In the paint department, Joe and Allie are fantastic. In the lighting department, Louie is the man to see!

The store is in a convenient location and does have ample parking. My shopping experience was great - I was able to purchase every item I had on my list by receiving assistance from the Store Associate, Jose. The store was clean and neat and the Associate, Jose was courteous, friendly, experienced and extremely helpful. I will definitely return to this store again for all items as I need them.

As a contractor, I’m in & out of HD’s and other Big Box and some not so Big Box stores literally most every day. My experience at this location, particularly with Patrick in regards to bath accessories was unparalleled - Fantastic Service! This guy could have been the Manager or for that matter the District Manager with the way he so enthusiastically assisted me with the purchase of a tub/shower door.
