I described what I was trying to do to fix a broken shaft on my metal detector that was 3/4 inch in diameter and the employee in the electrical department showed me a pack of clamps for that size tubing that were perfect for my project. I didn't know such parts were for sale and saved me time and money from an alternative plan I had.

Always find what I’m looking for. Employees are friendly and willing to help when needed. Store always seems to be clean and in order.

awesome service quick and easy

This trip was to return something that was custom ordered online, which I wasn't sure I could do. The associates at the return desk were able to help by taking the time to phone the manufacturer of the item and getting the required info to complete the return. It was done quickly and efficiently and with a smile.

I have shopped at this Home Depot store more than any other location in the Reno-Sparks, Nevada area. Always friendly, knowledgeable employees willing to take me directly to a product I am unable to look for, answer my questions patiently, and help load heavy items into my truck when needed. Occasionally I select the wrong item, don't use what I have bought, and exchanges/refunds are always handled without question.

I called a different Home Dept in Reno and was told they could not help me because I was trying to place an online order. I decided to try calling this Home Depot just in case to see if they could help. The salesperson who answered my call told me she was currently helping another customer. She heard my concern, told me she could definitely help me with my order and took down my name and number to call me back. Within an hour, another salesperson called me and helped me with my purchase in just a few minutes. This was a huge relief to me because I live an hour and a half away from the nearest Home Depot. Both employees I spoke to were friendly and professional.

THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY ALL DESERVE RAISES!

This store meets all of my expectations - well stocked, clean, and competent staff.

I am a new homeowner in the area and have frequented this store several times in the past few months for various things. I have recieved excellent help and service at this store.

After being a 25 year die-hard Home Depot shopper, I AM DONE! Selling kerosene heaters, but NO kerosene! I am sick and tired of their isles jammed with Halloween Yard Junk when I just want to stay warm. Shop at your own risk here!

The store great had what I needed and the cashier Noelle was great.

Love this Home Depot. It's not even our closest one, but the employees are friendly and its well-stocked.

After shopping at HD at 6590 S Virginia, I returned to my car to find that the battery was dead. Luckily I happened to ask someone who was sitting in their car to jump my vehicle. That person turned out to be Larry, a HD employee on his break. Larry was so kind to try and help me started. He even went into the store and got Armando, another HD employee to help. Both Larry and Armando worked so hard to get my car started and were so nice. I've never seen two employees help a customer so much.

Good inventory but cluttered isles. Help to load products is hard to find, best just to load yourself. Home Depot's competitor in Reno has an indoor lumber yard and loaders to assist. Been a customer of Home Depot for 30+ years, but I think twice when I can load direct to my truck (1x) elsewhere. I use Milwalkee and Makita tools, so I will always need to shop at Home Depot.

Friendly and very helpful. When needed . Store is very clean and professional service is excellent !

One of the better HD do to full time employees

The associates in the garden department are rude and unprofessional. The supervisor by the name of Julie needs to be trained properly. The associate Sabrina needs to work on her customer service skills. This store has the worst customer service of any Home Depot I have been to.

While browsing, I found "sturdy" foam coated gloves which I could use to protect my hands while pruning shrubs and trees in the yard and doing woodwork in the garage. A real plus was that the gloves were at discounted prices. Additionally, during check-out, the friendly and cheerful cashier, Corazon, quickly and efficiently handled my purchases. Overall, a highly satisfactory and pleasant shopping experience at the Home Depot store on Virginia Street, Reno, NV.

This is by far the worst Home depot in Reno Sparks. I waited over 20 minutes in the paint department with associates passing by me without ever asking if I needed help. I finally had to interrupt a conversation between two associates to ask for assistance and begrudgingly got someone to mix paint for me 10 minutes later. Do yourself a favor and drive to steamboat store. It is awesome.

When it seemed like I was not going to get any assistance, Connor came along and was very helpful and willing to assist me in getting heavy items into my cart and knew exactly which isle to go to get the rest of my items. Thank you!

I have been asked to rewrite my review since I expressed too much disappointment in my first attempt. So here it goes, I went to 3310 to get a tool bench which they showed in stock. I payed for the bench and asked them to disassemble the back board so I could get it on my truck. The web site describes the back board needs to be assembled. All there units were assemble but would not fit in my truck. The associates started to remove the screws, only to discover that most of the screws on all the units had stripped heads from careless assembly. Their solution was to bend a metal bracket to get the back board off. I said no and got a refund. I asked to have a new one shipped in and was told no. The assistant store manager emailed me with no solution offered. Why would I go back?

Things like joint compound were hard to find, it was also a little annoying that they do not have all the brands just together I get it, they tried to but like kind in the same area but the fact they have a type of primmer over by some garage area and super hard to find ways frustrating.. Too too long, and it was very busy in there and too a while for the person to help us... She was great but she was kind of swamped for a moment with people needing her.. And she was not typically in the paint area so not as knowledgeable as someone who works there all the time. Not her fault and no clue if the other person called in sick etc...
