great service

If you need to go to the paint department of the Ross Park Mall store AVOID being waited on by Anthony at all costs. He is rude, will get your order wrong, and will blame it on the customer. I will never shop in their paint department again at this store.

Chris in flooring is young but helped me above and beyond. Took the time on a product I had never used before. Gave options as asked and showed me info on manufactures website on his phone. If he could answer a question he went out of his way to find the answer or direct me to several resources. For a young man he was friendly listened asked questions of me and gave multiple options & very articulate . I would have never expected this from someone of his generation. A BIG thank you to Chris I was impressed I hope the company sees what I experienced today

Ross Park is a very good location to find what you need and with good service.

Although Jan was Very nice and willing to help me if I needed it ,I think it is a shame that they make you use self service checkout at certain times instead of of hiring people . I would prefer customer service by a person checking me out . I hope this company reconsiders having self service aisles. Keep the community working ! People not machines!

Store is great - Return policy change is terriable. Good integration with the website, easy to find items, nice in-app store map to make shopping quick. New return policy is terrible - if you return something, the store credit you receive can only be used by you or possibly a spouse (its tied to your name). It cannot even be used at Home Depot online. Doesn't matter if you have a receipt or not. This was not communicated clearly before the policy change. Appear the Home Depot is penalizing honest customers instead of fighting those who are defrauding the company. Use this (and all Home Depots) with caution.

What an excellent experience from the Ross Park location today! Mitch B was fantastic. He helped me find what I needed quickly and efficiently. He even loaded the heavy bags and brought them up to the pro desk. Randy at the pro desk checkout was equally attentive and helpful. From there I had help from a really helpful guy named Matt who loaded the heavy purchases. Just an all around great experience at a time when big box locations are usually too busy to make you feel valued

Stay away if are looking for customer service. This store ONLY has self checkout.

Customer service only for professionals. Regular customers are actively ignored by employees, and the only manned registers are for Pros. Non-pros are expected to do their own checking out, whether they want to or not. Don't expect your questions to be answered unless you are a professional. This is not a store that cares about anyone else.

People’s are allowed to bring pets, NOT SERVICE ANIMALS, in that are not potty trained who go to the bathroom in the store. The pet owners do not watch as you are pushing shopping carts or big item carts. I’m surprised animal deaths are not in the news from being run over by a cart loaded with drywall.

The employees are fine, the store was empty, no customers, 4 cars in the lot including mine. I'm guessing I'm not the only one disgusted by the new checkout design. I used to spend about $20,000 a year at Home Depot, I'm the customer, I do my job, I don't need to do theirs. I'll shop at a store where they want an attendant to ring up my items. I'm done with Home Idiots.

I would like to give the kudos to the following employees in the Store 4159 in Ross Park Mall, Pittsburgh, PA: Mary Synnott and Amy in the Kitchen Design, and Lisa Rylands Kitchen Project Manager, Chris (MOD), Jeff and Adam in Pro shop Bid room, All the customer service desk employees, Joe in Millwork / Lumber, Tools Rental associates. There is nothing I can add for any improvement that they have not already done it. I have compared this store personnel with other stores (HD and Lowes), there has been no exception every employee of this store were customer friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and GREAT. The store manager and Home Depot Corp ought to be very pleased and proud.

Do you want to check yourself out when you go to Home Depot? Do you want to bag your own items when you go to Home Depot? If not, I would recommend you choose another location or another chain to go to, because this store recently did away with normal checkouts and installed all self-checkouts. What a pain.

I find the staff helpful and knowledgeable about it's products and inventory.

This review is in regard to Dave in appliances. He is truly such a pleasure t deal with. He was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable in helping us choose our new washer. It helped that he owns the same machine and could provide us honest feedback on its performance. You need more Dave’s. He truly is wonderful to deal with

Went to purchase a "jambuster wrench" for a garbage disposal. Saw a price on line @ HOME DEPOT website. When @ the store the purchase price was $6.99. The salesclerk printed out a paper showing the advertised HOME DEPOT website as $4.49 When checking out I showed the cashier the printed paper from THEIR employee and was told (very RUDELY) that they don't match prices. Aftter explaining to her that the price was on-line @ HOME DEPOT and I had received the paper from THEIR employee she repeated that they do not match prices. Again I explained my situation to her and she reluctantly gave me the $4.49. VERY IGNORANT CASHIER!!!

Everyone was very polite and calm even though it was a busy holiday weekend. I easily found everything I was looking for and have always had a good experience at this store.

The employees were friendly and helpful especially in returns. We were doing a kitchen remodel and I was in the store 17 times in one week. They were great with taking back the supplies I didn't use.

Some associates are nicer & provide better services than others. Products availability are good and pricing are reasonable especially seasonal sales and marked down items!

Great staff and managers. Employees are happy and eager to help. This is clearly a well managed store.

Great store unless you need a delivery days in advance! Otherwise they drop the ball and leave contractors hanging with no material because they are too incompetent to tell you they can't meet the delivery date days in advance.
