The selection and quantity of such could be better. It’s frustrating when you need more than one of a product and that’s all they have.

I went to a Home Depot out of state to purchase an appliance for my daughter . The representative at the Salem store spoke with my Salesperson and set up delivery and payment. I had a gift card to combine with payment that cannot be used online . By calling direct to the store, this made it an “in store” purchase so my card could be used. I am grateful for their help.

This trip was really easy as the cashier Telisha had assist me and I was able to get in and out with no problem. She greeted me with a smile and seemed to care. It’s rare to find great service like this.

When we could not find what we were looking for, Jill helped us on our purchase of storage containers. She was friendly, helpful and made us feel like we were important and valued our time. Thank you!

Could Home Depot make a chair or stool avliabile to the cashiers so they have the options to stand or sit as they work? How much could it cost the company to make chair/stool availble or have they never had to stand for hours on cememt every day?

This store is very convenient for me as I live in Salem.

We recently bought a fixer-upper and Home Depot has been so helpful in ensuring we have everything we need to be successful in renovations. Ciaran is the person to go to in window treatments and Jill in flooring/window treatments. They cut the blinds for you right there, the quality is great and they look upscale in your home. Kyle is the store manager and all of the staff respect him because he leads by example. He was helpful in getting us set up with a Pro Xtra account and when I told him the quote I got from a window installation company he told me they could do better. Jim the window installation representative came the next day and was awesome - he was efficient and answered all of the questions. We’re only doing part of the house now but we will definitely use Home Depot when we complete the rest of our windows. I wish I could remember the kind woman who checked me out. I believe it was Louis and she was turning 80 the next day, I ended up having to go back to grab something else and wished her a happy birthday and she told me the whole team got her a cake and sang to her earlier that day. Heart warming. The Salem Home Depot operates like a true team and the product quality is great. I hope this review helps anyone thinking about using Home Depot for home renovations!

Everything you need to install new LED lights in the home. I just redid my kitchen and installed three lights with mounts switches boxes junction boxes wire and Wago lever-nuts. Too easy!

I purchased two gallons of paint. The young man at the paint counter was ready when I arrived and immediately greeted me with a smile. He shared with me his affection for the band Pantera which allowed us to engage in a very pleasant conversation. Interacting with people in this authentic way is the key to delivering excellent service...which is exactly what I got.

Great selection of appliances, all makes and models especially on line.

Some of the items are well made, some are junk.

Was in the store 3 times over this past weekend. Was helped by the customer service team to my satisfaction and I had some complicated transactions. Lorraine and Sue were extremely helpful and nice.

I bought a table last week to replace my existing table that was accidentally smashed by a tree branch. I was having company the following day and needed a replacement table. The sales floor rep and the customer service cashier were so terrific. They made a stressful situation into a good experience with a great outcome.

The garden centers plants looked so healthy. All the colors were vibrant and lively.

I’ve gone to this Home Depot for years, even when I’m closer to another store location. I’ve had a great experience each time. Special thanks to Danielle from Paint and to Jose from Lumber - they’ve both gone way above and beyond to help me. I’ve got multiple disabilities, low mobility, and dexterity issues. This customized help and Equitable Access are so important! Keep being awesome, Team!

This Home depot has a couple of real plumbers with years of experience to share when you need something.

If you’re ever in the Salem area and need to purchase some kitchen appliances I would highly recommend Mator in the kitchen section. He really goes above and beyond for his customers !
