I would recommend the store, but the associate in the power tools department was a male chauvinist. He didn’t even listen to me or help me with a product like I didn’t know what I was talking about because I am a woman????

If you are shopping for Windows definitely go see Ken in the window and door department he is a pleasure to work with.

We went in on a busy Sat to buy a dryer and the customer service person gave us the Attention we needed start to finish

I live in Salem, but will no longer shop at the Salem home depot for the sheer lack of customer service by employees who obviously couldn’t care less about you. You can tell the guy with the ponytail down to his butt, “Thanks for losing a long-standing customer for us. Great job.”

My experiance at this store was satisfying. The store was clean and organized. After I got help, I found what I wanted. The only thing I found that was wrong was with the dowels. I was looking to see which size I wanted and in one of the cubby holes that they were in, I notices two sizes. It looked like one size was put in with another size recently because they were all on top of the ones that belonged there. They belonged to the ones next to it. They had grey colored ends and they were in with the purplish ends that are 1/2 inches. The grey ones were 5/8 inches round. So I took them all out and put them where they belonged. I want to come back and just browze so I will know where things are, and discover other items. It was fun.

Excellent Appliances and Customer Service

The Salem Home Depot has some very knowledgeable employees in different departments of the store. It's been my experience that they are very willing to help out customers and are genuine in their desire to assist you. I highly recommend this store!

always clean, employees friendly and always very helpful. Most items we need are there and if not they find what store there at and offer to have it sent to there location for us. Always come here for our home needs.

Aliyah and Brandy definitely saved my shopping experience huge check out lines they pulled me over and took me and a few others there were not that many floor people around so I had issues finding certain products I needed brandee pointed me to the right direction ..great customer service but home depot needs more floor people!

Store is clean and item are easy to find, as well as employees are easy to approach.

Store always clean and well stocked

Maddix, an employee of the HD in Salem, MA was so professional and helpful during a recent visit to the store. He went out of way to help me and it was much appreciated.

The staff is very friendly very diligent professional with great customer service and very knowledgeable in know how in almost every project you could think of

Favorite Home Depot and I have been to so many that are great but this one takes the cake. Thanks everyone’s Home Depot for your continuous effort to help customers.

The employees are always on the ball here and I have learned so much from so many different departments that I actually look forward to my trips to this Home Depot in particular more so than others, though they are all great in my book.

Clean and well supplied with things I need

Generally I enjoy going to this Home Depot and they do a great job of being helpful, but finally had a poor experience here today. I asked for color match off of a paint chip in 2 gallons and was never asked for brand or sheen before they walked off and completed the mixing. I ended up with satin, despite the chip being eggshell and needing eggshell to match existing, and now have to figure out how to deal with the $60 of non-matching, non-returnable paint. Also, a coworker of the employee helping me at the paint station was in no way offering to help other customers lined up, and instead was complaining to other employees and picking at paint stains on the counter. Most employees here in the past have been great and still are, but these 2 were not.

I enjoy shopping at The Home Depot in Salem, as the sales associates are helpful and personable. Also, I am familiar with the store - even if the layout of other Home Depot stores are similar. I haven´t compared the layout of the Salem store with other HD stores. Thank you.

You have to struggle to find someone for a specific department. There’s a lot of bouncing around.

Haven't had a bad experience yet, and I don't think I ever will. Staff really seem to care about their customers.
