Ski from paint desk was very helpful choosing the right paint for me & what I needed. He was really nice & provided great customer service! Azucena the cashier was really rude, she didn't smile, she provided horrible customer service.

Help me at customer check out, and help me with mis-marked item.

Cashier (AZUCENA) demanded to see receipt on 2 other items on my possession. Advised I had valid receipt and that alarm would sound if an item not paid. She still insisted on confirming and pulled receipt from my hand. Very rude, unprofessional hostile and embarrassing to say the least.

Staff was very nice but when we went to search for the screws they weren't organized and we had to look in each box to find 4 matched.

I was looking for a window AC unit mount and had looked through the entire store but could not find it so I went to customer service for assistance. There were three girls at customer service, when I asked them where I could find the mount each girl looked at me like I had a third eye. A guy showed up and they asked him if he knew if they carried the item I was looking for, he too did not know what I was talking about and that they probably didn't carry such a thing. I was then told to check the website to see if the carried the item and when I showed him he had no idea what aisle the seasonal aisle. He then asked another employee who had walked up if she knew where the seasonal aisle was and she rudely pointed to the direction of the aisle and told me it was "probably over there" and dismissed me. Eventually I found the window mount I was looking for on my own

The manager at The Plant Home Depot in San Jose was extremely kind and thoughtful, along with his wonderful assistant, Jimmy, as these two men went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the shelving unit I purchased and put together for my 95 year old mother. At times I've been unhappy with the customer service at Home Depot, but these two men restored my faith in customer service relations by ensuring that the shelving unit I purchased was put together correctly to ensure that mother would be able to use it safely. I'm so very grateful to the these two men and to Home Depot and would highly recommend this store.

Store employees are friendly and offer their assistance without asking. Always a great shopping experience coming here.

The blossom hill store is closer but I will drive to this store because it's better. The store is nicer and the employees are willing to help. They are more knowledgeable too.

I came into the store about 15 minutes before closing (Yes, I was one of THOSE people). I needed to pick up some wood for laser cutting. It's more cost efficient for me to get a 4' by 8' piece and have it cut up to a bunch of smaller pieces. I had no idea what kind of wood I should get. One of the staffers, Ric approached me to see if I needed help, which I totally did. He went through the different wood options for me and made sure I got the best value. Once I picked what I wanted, he sliced the piece accurately and quickly. He stayed much longer beyond closing time, but I never felt rush to make my purchase.

The employees were friendly and very helpful. I got my stuff without any problems. I would recommend this store to everyone!!!!

I came in to process a return for a few items that I purchased. As I approach the cashier "Melina," I informed her I needed to process a return. She asked if there was anything wrong with the items and then started to process the transaction. While I waited in line, Melina was having a personal conversation with her co-worker "Jesenia." The entire time I was left aside while they had their conversation and I waited for my return. Then she asked: "do you want cash or credit?" I said "cash" and there goes my transaction. There was no willingness to help or understand if maybe they can help me find the correct size for the merchandise I returned. I was the one that ended the transaction by saying "thank you" and then I walked away. I am usually extremely patient and I don't write reviews. I felt the need to write a review because the service was unacceptable.

Wow. Don't expect this kind of service at a big box. Special call out to James & Roberto in tile/flooring area and Taylor in parking lot. All of them Proactively helped us with finding product, checking inventory at other stores, brand recommendations and speedy checkout. And after we finished loading and were figuring out where to put our flat cart Taylor came up and offered to put it away. While I don't know if I just caught them on a great day it felt like a high end service standard. Plus the store is huge and has lots more selection than our usual HD. I will be back!!

every associate i asked for help was knowledgeable and friendly. the only problem was that if you happen to spend too much time trying to decide witch tool or equipment works for you. you might end up finding yourself being follow by two guys through out the store. if this happens to someone with a bad temper a big confrontation might happen i knew who they were so i kept shopping. i paid at a self check out the lady was super friendly she told me she had to check the bag i bought and my receipt no problem with that at all. on my way out sensor went off me she said it was find to keep going but a guy stopped me and checked my items and bag again that's when i got a little upset i even asked him if he wanted me to go through the sensor without the items on me just to triple check i didn't still anything.

The associate help me to find out need anything. The store was cleaned, I very happy.

I needed help with the price of the item i wanted to buy , the associate that help me was really helpful , polite and respectful , this is the only home depot i have been coming for years

I had a very special application: I needed to put up ten foot poles in backyard, but could only transport if the poles were cut down to five feet to fit in my automobile. Sammy and the rental department were very helpful in cutting my tubing down. They were friendly and efficient.

I shop this Location weekly for my business materials. I am always greeted by a few workers walking around and they never hesitate to ask if I am finding everything ok. Thanks for great team work HD =)

Had quite a large deck project and found at least 2 associates that were able to help me find everything I needed.

Overall, the store is clean. The products are plenty and offer choice to purchase.

I needed things out of the ordinary. The store had them, and the associates in the electrical department went well out of their ways to understand and to meet my needs. Plus the clerk who checked me out was fun, personable and friendly. She taught me how to use my new credit card with the chip inside (it was closing time, with no one waiting). It was almost like going to my old family run, neighborhood hardware store -- except the selection, space and lighting were so much better.

This store is a mess for online pickups. Expect to spend at least 45 minutes while they locate your order and trying to fetch it. Your items will NOT ready 5 business days AFTER you received an email saying they are. This has happened more than 3 times over the past 5 months. Avoid this store at all costs if you must do the online-order-pickup-in-store thing. The one in South San Jose is much better.
