Staff is rude and inconsiderate to the guests In the store. The store has lots of amazing products but it’s not worth it to go shop at this location. The staff create such a horrible environment it’s not pleasant to be in at all. They make you feel like a burden even if you don’t ask for help you will always get the same look at the register ughh another customer. Also I don’t know if stealing is a problem they often experience but they are way to aggressive with the way they approach store security. I’m an honest person I would never steal but durring my last visit as I approached the checkout before I could even set my things down I had a staff member ripping them out of my hands telling me he’s gotta make sure there’s nothing stuck inside that isn’t supposed to be, which there wasn’t I get it he’s gotta make sure no one steals but he is creating an uncomfortable environment for all the customers. After ripping the items I wanted to purchase out of my hands he violently shakes them until I guess he was satisfied he knew nothing was inside. This was embarrassing inconsiderate and just added to the bad experience I had with employees throughout the store. This is wrong and should never be the way security is approached. He did not even give me an opportunity to place my items down. There was nothing to hide but he should not be allowed to start shaking my items until I atleast place them Down. Do not go here

Abdul helped us locate ALL of our wishlist items this evening and he did it with a smile on his face. We searched the store high and low to find items that weren’t in the matching location that was listed online. He went above and beyond to make our shopping experience easy and frustration free. He deserves bonus points for making us laugh while we had a “scavenger hunt” throughout the power tool aisles. Abdul was the perfect example of how every person working in customer service should be- you won’t be disappointed if you find he’s the person you ask for help the next time you shop in this store. He deserves to be recognized for his excellent people skills and maybe even a raise as a Christmas gift. Thank you for all your help Abdul you rock!

As soon as I wanted into the Schenectady Home Depot, I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. Kenny and assistant manager Stan helped turn a bad situation into a successful trip. These two gentlemen have amazing customer service skills. They should be teaching customer service, to the Halfmoon store.

Not a single associate offered to help me. I purchased a toolbox weighing over 100lbs. There were 2 associates nearby who saw me and neither one offered to help. They were too busy gossiping about their dating lives to help.

Always has what I need & easy to find

I was very pleased with the store it’s very clean and my shopping experience was great. I was very pleased with the customer service I was greeted also always an employee that would ask if you need help or any assistance with anything that you’re looking for and they are more than happy to walk around and show you and talk to you about the product (which is very helpful) . There was even one time where I was at the store and could not afford what I wanted and the cashier took $10 off when she asked me why I wanted to put it back. I was so grateful and so happy i was very satisfied. thank you home depot for hiring great people

this store is well organized the employees always willing to assist and they are professional and friendly

Went to the Schenectady store #1239, of course, on one of the hot and muggiest days of June '21. But, the store associates: from the Return desk, to the garden cashier, Jacob, to Carmen, who loaded 15 bags of a soil product into my car, were the best. Courteous, friendly and helpful. And Yes, customer associates should always have this as a goal, as it is their job, but many times you never find it. I have never had any issues with anyone at Schenectady Home Depot, and enjoy shopping there. Sales are great, and so are the prices.

The repair facility in Atlanta appears to have done a timely repair, but the employees in the tool rental department did not follow-up with the repair transaction. If not for the actions of asst store mgr Dan ? I would still be waiting for my saw which was brought to the store on 3/3/2021 . I will follow up With EGO with my satisfaction on their tool warranty procedures.

Went to the Schenectady Home Depot today for help converting a desk drawer into a drop-down keyboard drawer. John D. in the Tool Rental was very helpful! He explained what needed to happen, and when we asked if he could help, he gently took off the glued-on pieces holding the drawer front and then took a jigsaw and sawed off the front of the drawer. We were very happy with his expertise, willingness to help, and that we didn't need to rent a tool we didn't know how to use anyway! Thank you, John D. - we greatly appreciate you!

I required assistance to locate product. However, one of the employees went out of his way to assist, employee's name Saphrom/Safrom (not sure of spelling). I was so pleased, I sought out the manager, Dan to let him know how happy I was with this type of service. Store appeared clean Employee at self checkout was also friendly and helpful

This store has some of the most unhelpful, least knowledgeable, least polite and overall rudest associates I’ve dealt with of any store. I sometimes pay more at Lowe’s just for the fact I can be helped without feeling like a burden. Your cashier was texting while checking me out, almost cashed me without using my rewards number until I asked and then was annoyed. Another associate had me wait 15 mins while they helped stock a shelf and then forgot about me. It just goes on and on and it’s not a one off it’s every visit

I like this store because I am usually able to find everything and if I can't there is always an associate who can help me. The employees are very friendly and the store is clean and neat. The customer is treated with respect at this store.

I do not normally go to this Home Depot but it was the only one within a 30 minute drive that had the product I was looking for. Also rented a truck to move the product and that went well. No hassle. Staff were helpful.

Unfortunately, an associate in the Paint Department was unprofessional and disrespectful when I approached him. He appeared angry, perhaps because I interrupted him while he was texting on his phone. Fortunately, the other associates were helpful and polite.

The store is neat and clean and the employees are helpful and friendly.

The store is very clean and the employees and customer fallow safe distance and everyone there is friendly and helpful.

This summer I needed to paint my deck. I wanted something that wouldn't be slippery and the man at the paint desk was so helpful. In detail he took the time to tell me what paint to buy and how to apply paint the best way.

As has happened in the past, went to this store to buy something (3 pack of painters tape) in a sales flyer on the first day of the sale. Spent way too long looking for it. Had to find assistance only to be told they were sold out.Happens way too often and I end up having to buy something more expensive or go someplace else. Why put it in a flyer if you aren't going to have any to sell?

Usually I can find everything - when I can't there is always someone available to help me. The store is clean, the aisles are not cluttered and easy to manage with the carts. for the past 43 years the associates have always been there to help with a smile. If someone can't find something they find someone else who can help. This is another thing that impresses me is the friendly cooperation between the associates

sold me a used riding mower at full price. never told me it was used/returned. it had 2.5 hours of use. it had to have been returned. now I will return it again !!!!

I recently had a heart attack,so when I bought a air conditioner,the last one left I had to figure out how am I going to get this home?.well I went home got my small trailer and had an employee bring and load it on the trailer.that was the easy part when I got home my wife got the heavy duty truck dolley and was able to bring it in the house.super good ending.

Went there to get the google mini,it scanned $0.01 and the associate said I cant buy that,I said why?he said it's the policy,I asked for a manager,the manager refused to assist me and told the associate over the radio he can sell me the item for $13 but it scanned $0.01 so I should be able to buy that for $0.01,I never felt more humiliated in my life,I wrote the same feedback about store in latham NY but it was a wrong store,the store in Latham NY is awesome,just the store in Schenectady sucks.
