The last few times I've been at Home Depot, there are NO checkers, only Self Checkout. If I have to check myself out, I want an employee discount and be invited to the parties. The product lines are good, quantities sufficient.

She helped me yesterday with every step at the self check out, saving both my time and money!

I am inexperienced at installing shelves on the wall. The associate I worked with was very engaged with trying to help me. He helped me find everything I needed and answered all my questions. I will keep coming back to this store.

Everyone as very helpfull and made my visit great.

Steve and Jason in the lumber department are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I drive out of my way to go to this store because everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and the store is well stocked.

This Home Depot location on Shawnee Mission Parkway sets itself apart from the others with the cleanliness of the store, the helpful attitude of the store associates, the variety of merchandise, and the cashiers! This is my "GO TO" place!!!

Terrible service and completely mis managed

The Shawnee Home Depot has been my main home improvement store for six years and every visit has been pleasant. Whether having lumber to cut or questions, all employees seem to have a great attitude and eager to help.

Friendly helpful store

I went to exchange a Dewalt nail gun that seemed to have a loose connection. Camden at the exchange desk made it painless and I was in and out in a matter of a few minutes.

The Shawnee Home Depot is an excellent Home Depot to shop in. The employees are friendly and helpful and they have had the items I've needed. I highly recommend this store.

Employees were VERY helpful. I am not a pro. Just a novice DIY'er and they made my shopping so easy. Thank you!

Every associate was proactive in offering to help and were very helpful and nice about doing so.

I realize everything is going online now and I actually do shop a lot online myself, more and more all of the time. But on certain items especially bigger items like the gas trimmer I bought I will look at them and comparison shop online as much as possible then come to the store so I can handle the actual product, that's the one thing the internet cannot provide or replace! I also understand that not all of the products online are stocked in brick and mortar stores but as was the case with this trimmer you did have it in stock and thus why I came to the store, again so I could handle it. But when I got there you had most of the other trimmers assembled but not this one. I scolded one of your employees for not having one assembled and he just acted like, oh well buddy! Surely you understand that even with our world going tech for a lot of products people need to see and handle them to be sure they are compatible for their needs, who wants to hassle with buying and returning if the product didn't quite work out?

Can’t find what you want, ask a knowledgeable worker and if it is available they will find same.

Today I went to this Home Depot and I was looking for white caulking for applying to a baseboard. Initially, a guy in the paints department tried to help me; he finally asked Ester to help. Ester knew exactly what I was after; immediately took me to it and was so knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you, Ester.

The girl that checked me out {Stacie} was extremely friendly & knowledgeable.

I should have gotten his name. I was looking for a lot of different parts in the plumbing section. He took a bit of time to help me. I was feeling guilty, but he was a great help. I shared with him that I was building a thing to help me pan for gold on my next trip to Colorado. He told me he was a rock hound and a geologist himself and had panned for gold with his brother in law who was also a geologist. He said to be careful out there. He was the kind of guy I would enjoy having coffee with and talking about rocks with him. Too bad I didn't get his name.

The cashier in the garden area was super nice and doing a very good job. I believe her name was Antonia

Darnell takes pride in his job and is clean and very helpful especially at retrieving the carts from parking lot and organizing then nice and neat in the store he deserves a raise I think I spelled his name wrong

I like most everything about this store and its employees except the dumb parking lot a issue with the big triangles or diamonds that keep you from parking properly

This store doesn't enforce mask rules during a pandemic. It is not uncommon to see customers roaming the store without a mask.

This store is filled with the kindest people. I’m new to refinishing and repurposing furniture and the hardest part is getting helpful advice and finding the right tools and materials. From the very beginning the cashier helped me find the right person for cutting the plywood I needed. Brett couldn’t cut the wood due to his saw being down but he didn’t stop there. He listened to what I needed and helped me find pieces that would work for my project. Then helped me figure out how to cut it down on my own at home. While I was trying to figure all this out my kids were getting antsy and he entertained them as well. Then I knew I needed a staple gun but had no idea where to start. Ron showed me the most ergonomic one to use and made sure to help me pick out the right staples to go with. Back at checkout once again and the same friendly cashier helped me on my way. All in all this was a WONDERFUL experience. Thank you. I will come back for all my project needs.

Very impressed with workers who assisted me during shopping over there.
