Needed assistance in a department. No associate around. I walked to a different department and asked them to Paige someone over. They did. I waited 29 minutes and they never showed up.

Any more, I only visit Home Depot if I know exactly what I want and I don't need any help figuring out how to do my project.

I was helped immediately with a smile and helpful information.

Sometimes you get a person who just tells you which isle it’s in. Sometime you get lucky and you get a gentle named Lee who walks you through your own project and gets you everything you need all at once. I spent a bit more but I don’t have to drive beck over and over. Carpenters don’t need help. They know what they are looking for. Lee found my brother and I wondering around and asked if we needed help. That’s what a homeowner wants.

During check out I was charged a bag fee when I didn't get a bag. My attempt at a refund was unsuccessful. They only offer I got was a .02 cent bag for the .08. Guess they figure that nobody would complain about it

Hard to find employees who care. It's consistent enough that clearly this is a management value.

Changing policy to make it more difficult if not impossible for veterans to get what HomeDepot advertise as “Proud Institution That Supports our Military”…..it should read, “support some Military but not all”

My husband who is a retired military SGM and I have always parked in the Veteran spaces reserved in your parking lot. Today we drove in and they were gone. My husband was furious! How dare they take those away! I asked when we got inside and the cashier told us they weren't gone that they'd been moved to more of the center of the parking lot. When we finished shopping and were in our car we drove around trying to find them. THERE ARE ONLY 2 SPOT NOW FOR MILITARY VETERANS! THAT IS SO SO WRONG! Not only have they downsized to just two spaces but one of them was piled high with last weeks snow! How rude is that! I told the cashier that if this is the way Home Depot is going to treat Veterans, whom we have found they have ALWAYS highly respected until this, we can find another place to shop. There are way too many handicap spaces! Now the Veteran's have been reduced to a mere TWO spaces. Very rude and very wrong! I would hope that Home Depot makes a change and gives them back their spaces! Not only did the Veterans take pride in those reserved spots but they found pride in sharing their rank pins and stickers. Now there is nothing. Without those veterans this country would be in a world of hurt. May I suggest that you give them back their spaces and treat them with a whole lot more respect. After all, they don't HAVE to shop there! Thank you for taking this under consideration.

The lady in the counter tops area was great! She was really knowledgeable and helpful with our counter top selection.

We are so pleased with the service we received from associate Felicia. She helped in several Departments, none being in her Home Department, yet she was super informative and was able to do special orders in 2 different Departments. She’s very knowledgeable and honestly should train other associates on helping in all areas of the Store. What a bonus to the Store to have 50 Felicias in the Store giving outstanding customer service!!

This place is great! Smells good, there's plenty of help around and as a new homeowner, I have tons of questions which they are super happy to answer!

I needed a specific product and asked for help. The associate pointed to a top shelf and ran off. I am 5'1 and was unable to reach the top shelf. I grabbed the corner of a box and it fell over. The product was not the correct one so I ended up climbing on the bottom shelf to reach a box further back on the shelf. The customer service was awful! The associate could have easily grabbed the product for me - it would have taken 10 seconds of his time. Am I not worthy of 10 seconds?

Of the four Home Depots in the area this store seems to be better stocked with the materials I usually need.

It was easy and quick to find an employee to assist in finding the items we needed. When interested in a particular product, the employee was knowledgeable and explained the product in a way we could understand. So appreciative of the training your company provides to your employees so they can give clear and understandable answers regarding the products you sell.

The Tumwater Home Depot has never failed to deliver on the items I need for any home improvement projects I've done. Great store with lots of knowledgeable great people. Thank you!

I'm always able to find what I need at this store. It is not hard to locate an associate to help when I need it.

Tumwater Home Depot is my #1 store. I manage an apartment complex (181 units strong) and depend on Home Depot to supply us with needed materials - no hazzle and no waiting! The team at the Tumwater store is always friendly, eager to assist and knowledgable of products. I visit often and always find the store to be clean and easy to shop. Sometimes, I find myself "wandering" the isles just to see what else I might need :) In short - Tumwater Team is a Winner!

We really like Home Depot but sometimes find Tumwater isn't sufficiently stocked based on what they are showing online and we have to head over to the Olympia store for the remainder of our itens. But it's convenient and the staff are very friendly for the most part. And of course they carry the expansive selection of Home Improvement products that Home Depot is famous for.

Customer service is important. We are appalled at your store’s lack of it. We sent a review but because we mentioned a comparison between your store and competitors by name, apparently you weren’t interested in reading it. Your store, for so many years, was customer friendly. Staff were informed, pleasant, and supervised. None of that today. We are not sure we want to return. Hope a loss of customers meets your guideline standards.

My complaint is for one particular visit on 4/21/21. I have shopped at this store for years and receive a military discount with my purchases every time that I can think of, except today. I made a purchase of Vigoro Black Mulch and did not receive a military discount for it because the cashier (Kathleen) said I wouldn't get one because the mulch was a "commodity". She was not very friendly, either, and seemed irritated with me about asking why I couldn't get the discount. She even said she would "try again" for the discount but the "system" didn't allow it and she said, "See? Zero. No discount." This is the first time I have heard of this and, as a matter of fact, I received the discount for the same product, from the same store, on 4/5/21. This was an isolated instance therefore I still recommend this store to others because I have had favorable experiences here.

I’ve been shopping at this Home Depot for years, the employees definitely do come and go in the knowledge is sometimes hit or miss. But as of lately the employees have been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, with great attitudes and sincerely wanting to help demeanor. I’m not sure if it’s because of COVID-19, or just the fact that the country needs to come together and they are doing their best. But for whatever reason the store is definitely above and beyond the norm and making it easier and easier to get in and out with the things I need. Thank you Tumwater Home Depot and all the employees, you’re doing a great job.
