I live in South Hayward and this is my to go hardware store. Love the new pickup lockers and curbside pickup service. I also enjoy the self checkout features of the store. It could have more green and eco friendly products but I have hope that it will in the future.

Some employees do not care about customers. They feel like since it's a big box, they can do as they please. Very bad customer experience.

Home depot will be my home improvement store...

The Home Depot is my place to buy materials for Home Improvements even when there is a store near me.

Convenient and staff is helpful and everything is easy to find. If not they will assist you. And always someone will greet you at check out to make it easier.

Union City is my home town which is why I continue to shop here despite living 1 mile from another Home Depot. I almost gave up due to the poor service and the 2 hours I would spend waiting to get loaded with wood and check out. But, because of management’s commitment to want to improve I’ve seen major changes. Today’s visit was a tremendous improvement. I was in an out in less than 30 minutes.

This store is absolutely fantastic to shop. I’m very comfortable looking for the product that I needed. The team members are superb on providing service, top notch and trained very well.

CLEAN , EASY TO FIND PRODUCT.

My neighbor asked me to help water their garden while they out of town, but somehow the faucet broke at the seam. I've never fixed anything before and don't know any tools or parts. I went to Union City Home Depot this afternoon, the staff, Raji, spent over an hour helping me find parts and showing me how to install them. In the end I only spend $11.40. RAJI was so nice and patient . Many Thanks to Raji.

I found the paint and hole-in-the-wall fixit supplies I needed easily. The staff was very helpful and assisted with the selection of product. The store is always clean, and all the associates were friendly and helpful. Even with a lot of customers and being busy, very helpful and answered questions that I had about the supplies.

I have been shopping at this store since 1993 and has been there for me every time I needed something... In retail business there are ups and downs as people both customers and store employees come and go. For a good reason to understand customers are important in success of a business, the Home Depot store seems to continue to well in customer care

I just love how the employees try to find an alternative for you if they do not have what you want in stock! Just what I would do if I worked there.

Once again, the amazing Assistant Manager named Danny asked if I needed any help and I told him I appreciate you even asking me! Whenever I shop there I have always observed Danny is always asking me and everyone else if they need any help with anything. I have been shopping at this Union City Home Depot for 30 years and no Manager has ever done that! The other managers should take the time to learn from him! I visited the Union City store on November 28 looking for a hard to find product. As I was wandering around looking for the product an employee came up to ask me if I needed help. Turned out it was the store manager. She proceeded to try to find out if the product was in stock. After trying to find out if there were any in stock and finding none, she then told me that she would let me know when there were more in stock. One week later she texted me to let me know there were more in stock and I came in and was able to purchase the item. Superior customer service! The example displayed by the store manager was outstanding. This store appears, based on my experience, to have great leadership in place.

Every time I go to Home Depot Union City store, I get my needs and goals met. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. The selection of items are so many, I've not once went home not finding what I need. The store is organised and neat. Prices are better than all of the hardware stores nearby. Returns and refunds are very convenient and easy.

Got charged more than I should have and when manager told cashier to provide us with a small discount for the inconvenience , it was not applied.
