Nice manager who assisted me

When I visit your home depot I am always welcome at the door. The employees ask can they help you. (Bob) One of the employees stayed with me to lift and load. (Kevin) I feel like I have personal assistant. When I get to the checkout Raphael greats you with a smile and he also learned my name. I am picking up stuff for a particular building project and have been visiting several times a week. This make it a great shopping experience. I don' remember getting this attention or help from other home depots.

The worst place to buy a grill. Do not shop here..promised a delivery..no show ..no call... nothing..I called them..."oh sorry you will have it tomorrow"... tomorrow comes..no call no show..." Oh sorry you will have it by next week.."NEXT WEEK!!" You said that last week... Ridiculous..go somewhere else..do yourself a favor.. not worth the headache of chasing your money or product...it will probably show up dented ..

Long time fan of HD. More and more, other companies are beating HD on prices (but not on customer service!). So I know HD's price match policy and done that a bunch of times. Buying 2 Japanese Beetle lures, HD was 24c more than a competitor for each. The cashier doesn't know how to do a price match? She calls over a supervisor. The supervisor tells me that we aren't really price matching anymore. I show her the HD website price match page on my phone - corporate still shows price match is in effect. She relents and gives me the lower price. Knowing what she is saying is wrong I look for the MOD. After 10 minutes, I speak to an asst. manager. He defends the supervisor - yeah, we're going to be making changes in the next few months / price match is going away.... OK. But currently, price match is in effect? Yes. So why is a supervisor saying you aren't doing price matches? Uh.... I was speaking to a GM at another nearby store and they said they don't know anything about what the MOD was talking about - he hasn't heard of price matching going away. So was that MOD just shoveling manure to wrongly defend a supervisor?

Had a great experience with Evan in the store on the 4th of July. He made my dreaded shopping experience a great one!

Sales team in flooing dept was very helpful.

Although I needed help with someone in gardening, George who worked in electrical was very helpful. However, the store was clean.

It was clean and well organized. The signs made it easy to locate the item you were seeking, and the employees were friendly and very helpful in making my purchase so easy.

Kevin, associate in the Garden center was Extremely helpful helping us load heavy stones into our car.

The store clerk helped us diligently. On website it said the product (fridgeair Air conditioner) is available at this store and we visited this store but the product was not available. The phone service was also not available inside the store. Not for me nor for the store clerk. But even after all these hurdles, the clerk took us to his workstation and pull up the product. Guided us to the appropriate aisle. The product was on the top shelf. He requested a forklift personal who then took down the product for us. All of this took over an hr but the store clerk was nice and truly wanted to help us.

The item we were purchasing was up on the top shelf which required a machine to obtain since it was very high and heavy. Although nearly impossible to find a machine operator on a holiday weekend to get the item down, Rich was able to secure another employee to get it down safely. He spent well over 30 minutes to get us the huge grill that we wanted. Rich along with another employee Kevin helped my husband get it into the truck safely as it was very heavy. They were extremely helpful and kind!

I have never had a problem with home depot in watchung. I am also glad you give a discount for VETS

All in all this is a well functioning store. It may take a while to find an associate, but once found they are very helpful. Good depth of stock. Garden Dept. seems well managed for this area. Plants are appropriate for this region.

Jacqueline L, our cashier, was so friendly and very efficient! Large selection of flowers although on Sunday’s, very busy and hard to get everything you need because not all the stock is available to the customers.

I like the customer service, they have always great me and have helped me with selecting the best items that fit my needs. This Homedepot has lots of items and very seldom there is a needed to order something on line.

I’ve placed two orders for Pick Up in Store, and both times the store failed to pick the order. I received notifications that my orders were ready for pick up, and both times I went to pick up my order and the store didn’t even bother picking the orders. The employees don’t seem to care.

George and Isela are great! Personable, knowledgeable and FAST in their positions and assisting customers! Great staff at Watchung location! I’ll be back!

I have been coming to this Home Depot since I am living in New Jersey. Your associates are always very helpful.

Worst experience I've had at most any retailer. Trying to return some items - I save them up because I know I don't have receipts / credit cards for all items and they understandably track no receipt returns. I spent 1 hour at returns and wound up leaving w/ most of the items. They didn't know how to ring up hardware with 3 letters stamped on it. Didn't know how to check credit cards for returns and told me that 'the policy changed in August - if you don't have a receipt, we don't take it back'. I drove to watchung and returned those items (no receipt, gave them DL, got merch credit) in 3 minutes.

Keep up the very good work. Great service at the store. Michelle is a very good worker

Home Depot seems to be the better of the Hardware Stores in the area. There new self check out system is good, and always has help available should you have an issue. Generally seems to be well stocked on most all items as oppose to other hardware stores.

I was at Home Depot today for both a return and pick-up of an online order. Jayla, the Customer Service rep, was extremely pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful. She did everything she could and took extra steps to help me with a return once an issue with the return was encountered. She also went out of her way to help me with the lockers on an 'in store' pick-up of an online order. I was most impressed with the friendly service she provided and noted same verbally to her supervisor before I left the store. Today was probably my best shopping experience (of frequent visits) at this my local Home Depot.
