Depends on the employee you find as to if you get helped. Some are excellent at their job others not so much.

They were able to get our appliances sooner than the competitor. Also, the sales person, EJ, was excellent to work with. From choosing the best appliances for our needs to completing the sale. Wonderful!

The Home Depot in Asheville is always our first stop when we need something for the house. Home Depot has quality products and we have bought a lot of those products. However, we shop here mostly because of the employees. They almost always seem eager to help us and don't seem to mind guiding us to the item we are looking for. They also let us bring our dog inside the store and some of the employees have biscuits for him. When we pull into the Home Depot parking lot with our dog in the car he is so excited that he starts crying. This store is well run and a really nice place to shop.

We were greeted as we entered the store as well as throughout. Teresa, in the appliance department, was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Customer service at this location are friendly and helpful! The location is convenient as well.

The Pro desk (Loretta) is so helpful and really cares about customers!

This store is well stocked most of the time. Very friendly staff, but I can no longer find the Chem-Dry carpet spotter. The best spotter ever!!!!! What's up with that?DandyaD

I asked 3 different employees where I would find a particular item. The first 2 employees sent me to incorrect locations. The third employee walked me directly to the correct location and then gave me a contemptuous look. I prefer to avoid incompetent employees and hostile employees, so in the future I will shop at other home improvement stores.

You pay a lot more if you go to the store rather than buying online and picking it up at the store.... Makes no sense

Terrible customer service. Questions answered with empty platitudes, and blank stares. Over the phone customer service with management was pleasant and seemed to be getting somewhere, final outcome was unacceptable and made to feel it was my fault. Plenty of other hardware stores out there to shop from

This store is so much better then the others around me due to the customer service I have experienced.

Could stand to have a few more front end employees to keep the checking out process more seem less and smooth.

The pro desk was closed and no one knew how to help us with our purchase so we went to the service desk and Nautica said she knew some about the pro service and helped us tremendously. She was patient and wanted to figure out the best for our service and went over and above. We were 45 mins away and did not want to have to come back the next day. The only thing I would suggest is if no one is going to be at the pro desk to have someone on the afternoon hours to be able to help contractors out for we have to come after 530 to do our purchases for jobs. Thanks for always having associates to help us when we need something.

Based on a shopping experience before this review opportunity arose, Home Depot made a WRITTEN promise to refund a $20k special order & when it came in, refused to honor their word with written proof.... Used to shop here all the time but that was the last time until today when Wes was so helpful. I decided to use my receipt to leave him a special review since he went 'above-and-beyond' as Airbnb would say. But HD insisted on rehashing the past.....so here you have it....

I can't tell you how special the employees are at this store. They are the cream of the crop. We are in there so much that we know a lot of the employees by name. They remember us which is amazing since there are so many people that shop there. Each department has staff that know where to find things and tell you about the product. They are so helpful. We have been building and have had a lot of questions. Our lumber, appliances, kitchen cabinets and counter tops, etc., all were bought at this Home Depot. Everyone has made this process so much easier. Even the cashiers are a delight. This entire group of people are amazing.
