There are other Home Depots in the Syracuse area. Try DeWitt or Cicero, I have had better service at those locations.

Beware of buying appliances that are to be delivered and installed. Home Depot farms out delivery to a subcontractor, and in my case, this person had work rules that would not allow him to complete the installation of my appliances. Ask these questions first to avoid the hassle of having the (very late) truck show up and then NOT do this install that was promised and paid for.

I was very pleased with the experience, people are friendly and i found everything with eaese.

The Clay store was very busy. Lots of great deals and good prices. The guys in hardware were a great help! Nancy at the register was super friendly and nice to talk! Thanks to the hardware guys and Nancy.

On the day before Veteran's Day, cashier argued that "...we don't do that Veteran discount, that's (competitor named).." She kept repeating this over and over. I have registered over a year ago with Home Depot and always received my discount. During this discussion, my son suggested we just go across the street to the competitor and leave the $400 in materials at the checkout. After showing my driver license, she reluctantly agreed to allow the discount, ".....since Veteran's Day is soon". Very disappointed. Train your people or fix your systems.

The store was clean and well-organized. More importantly, the associates were friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. #6153 Liverpool is one of the best Home Depot stores that I've been in!

Melinda helped us out with purchasing a new fridge. She was so helpful and made us feel at ease during this stressful time. (Our fridge broke) when i told her i was going to look for something cheaper she went above and beyond to show me that they have the lowest prices. And that they do! Melindas the best!

I bought a new home which unfortunately warrants a trip to Home Depot at every turn. I chose this Home Depot and I'm not sorry I did. The employees are so friendly & knowledgeable and I've always left knowing I had the right tools, etc., to get the job done. I've bought appliances down to nuts & bolts, to my personal favorite a Ryobi One Shop vac. This place has it all, even brand new restrooms!

Had outstanding service. We purchased a stove and had several questions. They answered all our questions and if they did not know, they looked it up for us.

Although the survey is a good idea, when asked to submit one’s primary address zip code it excludes the option of indicating the actual location (zip code) of where the client was shopping, so when complementing specific employees “credit isn’t gained where credit is due”.

Great store. People are always friendly and very helpful. Store is always clean and well stocked. They have a fantastic kitchen designer named Michael F. who made our designing experience very enjoyable.

Holly in customer service is exceptional! Ben brought out new item out extremely fast. The BEST store in the area!!

The associate who waited on me was rude to me and two other customers. It was unsettling and very embarrassing. I have spent quite a bit of money at this store and have never had such a negative experience.

I purposely go to this store for the employees! They are always helpful, professional and kind. Even when I have all the crazy kids in tow, they are amazing! Thank you.

My two main "go-to" employees at Home Depot are Jeff (who knows everything there is to know!) and Malinda. They have been awesome in assisting us in making the right decisions, on the right products, for our home improvement needs.

One of the worst customer experiences I have had. Staff actively avoided eye contact so to not have to help my wife and I. I would not recommend this location to anyone. 1 star is a gift...

A convenient location and a large parking lot make it an attractive shopping location. Good choice of merchandise and helpful staff will make the visit fruitful and pleasant.

This store #6153 sold me a USED wet saw yesterday, June 15, 2019. It was packaged as a new product. Was right in the middle of a tiling job when my old wet saw burned out and I was in a hurry. Got it home with the 'new' Rigid R4030S only to find it was dirty and used. To make matters worse, nuts and the correct Allen wrench were missing. Had to go to me local hardware store to buy necessary parts to get the saw going. Totally ticked off that The Home Depot would repackage a used tool let alone not make sure the correct parts are in it. My advice: Open every box you buy from this store to make sure it's new and all the parts are in it!!!

Clay Home Depot you are doing everything right. Found everything in stock and easily, had associates offer & give help when we needed. Store looked great, and everyone was friendly.

Completed a transaction for new furnace and air conditioning with a long term contractor (at my home) and the store remotely including a credit increase. The event was stress free with prompt installation scheduled.

Cashier at the garden department was fantastic. Made spending money enjoyable.

This store excels in customer service. There's always an Associate nearby who is friendly and willing to help. Usually they approach me to offer assistance. I love shopping here.

All of the store employees are like family, they take care of each other and take care of us too. I have been going to this store for over six years and can tell you that I drive further to go to the Clay store rather than the Cicero store which is much closer to me than the Clay store, but I would not have it any other way. Everything from Angel who goes out of her way to make sure I get the best prices for my projects for our HDX referral clients and make sure that if the lines get long at #1 and #2 she steps in to help, and Tom who has an extended amount of wisdom about almost anything in the store. The lumber area looks great every morning and Ken is always there to help, as well as Ben in plumbing, who has been known to get me the right fitting even if its not easy to find! I only have two complaints, do something about the coffee trolls and also do something about the non-Pros taking up all of the space under the canopy when its obvious they are not picking up anything large to be put on their mini van without a roof rack, or the driver of the PT Cruiser who came in to but a gallon of paint I understand there are times when it is difficult to tell someone this, but we sign up as Pros and one of these benefits is gaining access to the rear door for loading our trucks and/or trailers. BUT, if you only do one thisn, do something about the coffee trolls......please!

Extremely friendly and helpful environment, Amy, Joanne, and all the women at customer service are top notch!

Ken G took the time to understand our needs and explored options with us. The store manager, Chris, even consulted with us to make sure we were happy! We will definitely be returning to the Clay store for all of our flooring needs!

The management does not care about correcting issues their team creates and they are not true to their word.
