I give this store a 2 out of 5 star rating and here is why: The store itself carriers all the supplies you need for your next home renovation but unfortunately lacks in Customer care / service. I have left this store many times with the product I came in for but flustered with the service I received.

I have always had good experiences at the CDA home depot. We own a few rentals here for 17 years and we love coming there.

I live some distance away from the store and often call about availability and price. I am not always happy with the service over the phone, however the in store experience has been satisfactory.

The employees are very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. And they wear masks to protect everyone at this difficult time! Thank you!

the store employees are always willing to go above and beyond to help us. The store is generally stocked very well. Its location is very convenient.

GREAT PLANT DEPARTMENT

went to home depo in Couer De Alene was impressed with the service, in spite of the big box store negativity. it was fast with help from the employees, made the shopping experience fast.

I love shopping at the Home Depot! I took my chainsaw in for a new blade and Roland went out of his way to make sure the new blade fit. He replaced the blade and then set the tension. I appreciate all of the employees there and their extra service to their customers.

Employees go out of their way to help me out. Getting there early is the key; that way they aren’t busy with other people.

The lazy employees who hide if you are needing assistance far out number the polite, helpful ones. If you attempt to leave the one star deserved it won't take your review. I do not recommend this store.

The CdA Home Depot Store isn't the one we knew several years ago where there was never anyone around to help you find something. We've been amazed at how they walk up to you and ask if you need help finding something and then they take you to where it is and stay there until they've answered all of your questions! This past year especially, we've had employees go the extra mile in cutting wood and threading pipe to the specifications that we needed. They have given us installation instructions or offered suggestions for specific tools to make the job work or at least make it easier. We've gotten professional advice that you would normally have to pay a professional in order to get! They have been right there to help you load your purchases (I remember waiting forever to get help with that in past years!). This is why we think of Home Depot FIRST when we need anything. Keep up the good work and please give those employees a big pat on the back! We appreciate them and the help they so willingly give!

Paint Dept personnel were awesome. Clerk went out of her way to locate a specific item and was able to locate 8 of the 10 I needed in-store. Since I was enroute to pick them up, she set them out so I didn't have to look for them.

The cashiers are friendly, know where the product is, desire to be of service, make the store more personal. It is a pleasant fairly quick shopping experience.

There's probably not a time that we go to town that we don't need to stop at Home Depot for something or other. Our projects never seem to end. We are so appreciative of the willingness of all of your employees to answer questions and help find things and we REALLY appreciate the fact that you have professionals to help guide people through the processes. Your plumbing department is especially amazing. Those guys have given us guidance, shortcuts and time-saving advice and gone above and beyond many times this year alone. Rather than avoid a customer needing help, they actually ask if you need anything. They are mindful of older people and offer to load things for you. Things we have learned from your employees have greatly helped us to be better do it your-selfers! Thank you!

No concern for customer health and safety. They don't sanitize carts or the self-checkout surfaces. Most employees wear their masks pulled below their nose. Sign at entrance says please wear a mask, and masks are provided, but during my short visit there I saw more then 10 people not wearing masks. Demonstrates a lack of respect for customers and disregard for the risks of spreading the coronavirus.

This is an Aplus plus plus store for sure!

Had great help with all my needs

For some reason customers being ignored and not acknowledged at paint counter i.e. "hello--will be with you shortly" while also then dealing with customers coming from side areas and asking questions while original customers still waiting in line. Had not experienced this before on many visits to this store. Normally no issues and will continue to shop here--could have been a one off situation.

Juanita a manager is amazing! She is there for the customers and staff! She really helped me during my trip. I have never been so impressed with the quality of staff at any store. She was a great choice to get in this store. Been shopping here for many many years and can see a difference in the staff when she started here.

Great shopping experience very convenient was in and out with ease

Sale cashier - Deborah was very helpful in finding the lilly miller lawn fertilizer. Appreciate the customer service. Garden area very clean.

Failed to meet customer service needs . There was a limited number of freezers on hand if 3. I purchase 1 and paid for it. I told them to hold it and I would get my truck and return in a couple hours . When I returned, they resold my freezer that they were holding in their care. No one was able resolve problem. Very disappointing

Guys at the pro desk are always rude and condescending. Every single time I’ve interacted with them.

The garden center outside the store was well stocked. This is the only garden store where I could find the variety of tomato plants I was looking for!

The staff are always very helpful here! For it being a very busy Sunday and longs lines at the register, the cashiers were positive and smiling. The lines moved fast too! They had the items in stock that we need and the Garden Center associates were friendly!

Employees at this store have always been available to help and stwilling to help. It always seems that the least expensive items require the most help, but that steers me back to make more expensive purchases.

We feel very blessed to have a Home Depot store in our area. We find the employees always willing to help whenever we need assistance. Clean store. Good return policy.

We have lived here for 16 years, Home Depot of Coeur d'Alene is where we shop for almost all of our home improvement needs. They are Helpful, friendly, and provide great ideas when needed.
