Amazingly helpful Cashier Jenny
Cashier Jenny is absolutely amazing at helping customers at the check out. She consistently goes above and beyond. I don't normally do the reviews but I was compelled this morning to get it completed. I wish more cashiers were as helpful and attentive to customers.

    My experience at Home Depot is great, however this time when I needed an item that on the next stacking I hard to hunt people down in order to get the item. It was a $750.00 cabinet, and I thought since I'm spending so much money on an item they would give great service. All of my other experiences at Home Depot however have been great, and I will definitely shop here again.

      On July 3rd, I called the store to asked if they had charcoals on sale. An associate stated that they did. I then asked which one? She replied "give me minute. I waited on the phone for over 28 minutes. During those those 28 minutes someone would pick up the line then immediately place me back on hold. On the 24 minutes of waiting, someone picked up and placed me on hold again. When I ended up talking to someone, she said to come in the store. When I got to the store, I went to an associate that was very kind and she escorted me to customer service. I spoke to an assistant manager named Patrick and he apologize for the long wait. He then marked down one of the 2 packs of Kingsford Charcoal. I wanted him to mark one more but he said he couldn't. I appreciate him for doing that. After, purchasing the 2pk, the cashier had an associate get a cart for me. Overall, the experience was ok. When I was inside the store, HD Associates showed kind gestures to make up for my bad experience. I would of loved to purchase more packs of charcoal. I usually buy 20 to 40 bags when they're on sale and was highly disappointed to find out HD didn't have that sale.

      Never Shop here!! As a 40yr old disable veteran, I've never had not only a customer service employee talk down to me, but actually challenge me multiple times to a fight asking me what I was going to do about it and get in my face to try to challenge me to fight. It all started April 10th when I ordered a grill from the website, A grill I've purchased multiple times over the years as gifts and I owned myself. We were moving to a new house and wanted a brand new one. It would arrive on my move in date of May 1. Excited I told my family we would grill in our new house on May 1 for dinner. On May 1 I received a call from a home depot employee it was placed wrongly onto a open delivery truck and would have to be moved to a closed truck, disappointed we said ok and rescheduled to May 6th. On May 6th Again excited to grill we the fam in our new Florida home, again a call sorry its still wasn't moved to a closed truck we will reschedule and on May 12th if will be delivered in a closed truck. May 12, GOT THE CALL!! Its on the way we are the next stop at 9am. I walk outside not only is the grill build and not in a box it looks like it fell off the truck, dented and scratched all over. I said NO! Driver tells me he will head back to the store and since it's early they would send me another the same day. I hear nothing the rest of the day. Today May 13th, 2021 I call the store 8:28 AM. I called 7 times in a row as ever time I call someone picks of the phone and parks me on hold. I hear them pick up not say a word and place me on hold. The 7th call I got a hold of someone. Tell them whats going on. They tell me they physically have a new grill for me, they put it aside, it will have my name come after 2pm. I plan my day around this event, Family is getting supplies at the grocery store, and I arrive to the store just after 3:30. I go and pick up all the supplies, smoking chips, lighter, propane tanks, even grilling utensils. $400 plus later I head over to customer service. I wait in line, Observe most employees are barely wearing a mask, clearly they haven't heard the hold music at the store as it states how they strive to protect the customer. I'm up I hand them my order number and ask to be rung up. They bring me after 20 min the exact broken grill I said no to. I explain there must be a mistake the person told me this morning they put a new one aside. 30 minutes go by an no one returns. At this time I ask another customer service person to please page the MOD, She calls multiple people on her cell tells them multiple things I didn't say as she has no idea whats going on and each person she reaches say passes it to someone else. Also its on her cell speakerphone a foot away so I'm hearing it. Another 15 min go by finally I get back in line. I ask the new customer service person as he was the last one I hadn't dealt with. Joshua asks me do I have a receipt. I explain I just purchased all of the items and have been waiting in the area, Also not wearing a mask properly and touching his nose and face but at this point I want to return everything and just go home. He finishes scanning everything back and tells me the hes only returning $319 and that's all I get because I've used my military discount. I explain that's not how that works and he repeatedly tells me that's what the computer says. I ask for a manager. He then gets in my face because I tell him he's wrong and he then states what am I going to do about it! Not once or twice, but 3 times. He then folds and throws the receipt at me. How disrespectful. I've never in my life had someone talk to me like this. At this point I get loud and then and only then does the Store manager come with another manager. I explain all the above. Another 10-15 min go by. I ask to return everything including the grill. I will give credit to the young lady who stepped in at this point, she wanted to give me a grill but I purchased the top of the line so I wasn't going to accept lower models. I left with nothing. Sat in my borrowed truck and literally screamed alone for minuted. I've never been this angry and upset as an adult. I will never shop here or at any home depot again in my life. As I write this I checked my pro account last 24 months $25,933.99 is what I've personally spent privately for me. It might not be much for a big retailer like you but I've worked very hard just to spend that with you.
