Cashier Joan put tape on a hole in a bag of soil to avoid it leaks in my car and called service to help with lifting my bags of soil into my car. Joan is a great asset to Home Depot dealing with customers.

I bought a trash can n I like the helped I got from the cashier

I went there looking for cleaning supplies, and one of the items I needed was all the way at the top in one of the unopened pallets. Two employees neglected my request and told me they simply didn’t have it, even though their online system noted 18 in stock. However, after asking a third employee, Rikki, she went out of her way to get someone to get that pallet down for me so I could get the product I needed, which was the arm and hammer pure baking soda. While being ignored by the first two employees and them not wanting to do more than they needed was really frustrating, the fact that Rikki went out of her way made my shopping experience better. She made me feel important, even though I just needed this one product.

Trianna was full of energy and did an awesome job first thing in the morning. You never know what a smile and being friendly could do to help someone out first thing in the morning. Her energy allowed me to re think my morning.

As a general contractor I purchase materials at The Home Depot. I am never disappointed when I shop at this location. Good product and great return policy! Helpful staff, specially Mr. Ali at the Pro desk and Tim L. at the painting department always go above and beyond to make this a pleasant shopping experience. Thank you all!

Very understaffed, hardly any cashiers around. Several entrances were blocked off, had to walk a ways to get in.

Chris was extremely helpful in helping with my lumber selection experience! Extremely knowledgeable on types of woods and cuts needed for me to conduct my DIY project. He was more than willing on several occasions to offer me advice or cut particular pieces of wood while he was suppose to go on break, I am extremely thankful to him. From now on all incoming employees need to exemplify the professionalism Chris from the Limber department demonstrated to me. Absolutely first-class and am very appreciative of him! Kenneth from checkout was extremely professional and great with his people skills as he helped me out with my checkout process. Even while I was getting flustered he was very understanding and first rate. I appreciate that quality of him.

Paint dept employee refused to help me get an outdoor lighting employee to help me when I was unable to find one

The Gaithersburg Home Depot is helpful in item finding and recommending useful home items.

Bought Ryobi 40 V weed wacker (assuming new). Was repackaged, covered with dried dirt and grass.

This Home Depot has great employees who are willing to help with any problems
