Very messy store with very rude and unhelpful employees.

I bought some items in the garden section and had a great experience with all employees and cashiers very friendly

I was in home Depot on March 16th to exchange a solar security light because it was missing a part. Jasmine the Home Depot employee was very helpful. I went to get another light but there were none on the self. I told Jasmine so she checked to see if there were any in stock, there were 2 more. We walked over to the light department, she looked everywhere for one, then spotted one up on the top shelf. She called for assistance and no one came. She then moved the large ladder and retrieved the light. On the way back to the return area she was approach by an elderly woman who asked her where she could find a cart. Jasmine started to tell her where the carts were and the women became rude. She raised her voice, hands in disgust and treated Jasmine badly. Jasmine kept her cool and tried to help but the women stormed off. We then completed the transaction, As I left the store I saw there were no carts by the front of the store, perhaps reason enough for the woman to be upset but no excuse to treat Jasmine so poorly. Kudos to Jasmine for extra the effort in solving my issue and staying calm while dealing with a rude customer.

Came to do business as a general contractor Manager Doug and Brittany Don't like to help customers find anything like to sit back in office and do nothing. No help at Pro Desk have to take Business else where

Found what I needed quickly. Checkout was quick and Deborah was helpful and friendly.

This is THE BEST STORE ,that I have visited for a long time . Great employees , great selections , great customer service. I love this GALVESTON HOME DEPOT ! Employees are knowledgeable , care to come and help you , and they all have great attitude. Thank you , Home Depot.

Galveston, TX worst Home Depot ever. Poor customer service and would only issue in-store credit instead of refund after canceling my order!! Will never shop at the Galveston Home Depot store ever again! Management has no clue about its inventory and doesn't care about inconveniencing its customers. Bye!

Nice to have a major retailer on the island that caters to small customer.

I have purchase appliance packages before with good success and today was even easier with the help of the knowledgeable sales lady.

Employees were friendly, service was good and the store was clean. The checkout time could be improved and the inventory could be addressed. Other than that my experience was good with this location.

The employees in this store are rude and not helpful at all. I will spend my money elsewhere.

This store has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Both times that I've ordered a washer and dryer from this location, there have been major issues. The first time, they delivered the same products days apart because it was never marked as delivered the first time. Then, they wouldn't install even though I had paid for installation. This time they showed up with a broken washer and dryer. Not one person has been of help. The delivery guy said there were 5 out 15 appliances damaged that were scheduled for delivery today. 1/3 of PAID FOR PRODUCTS ARE BROKEN?? And all this company offers is a reschedule for another week, so I guess I should just cross my fingers that the next ones show up NOT BROKEN. I have paid almost $2,000 with nothing to show for it. I am never using this store again. Dogs would do better at quality control and customer service. How about training your employees to assist with angry customers instead of saying, "I don't know. I have no idea". Not acceptable.

We had a 97 degree day here in Texas, and I walked into Home Depot needing various items right at the very end of it when everyone could have been exhausted and cranky. But no. Every single employee I came in contact with showed that great spirit I've come to expect from this franchise. A young man who happens to be deaf helped me find what I needed in gardening, and he certainly communicated very well with his speech to text phone app and his sweet smile. Customer Service was so welcoming, the cashier was fast and kind, and even the guy collecting the carts out in the finally cooling parking lot thanked me for bringing my cart over. It's people like this who make a store. And ok, the prices. But mainly the people. Galveston has really, really nice people.

They would not let me use my husband's military discount (he was home sick) on a large purchase. I have never tried to use it when he was not there and would not had the purchase not been large. So long Home Depot...............your competitor will honor it.

Went to this Home Depot to get a new freezer. Arnie, in appliances, was knowledgeable and very helpful. The only drag was having to come across the ferry from Bolivar to go here. Other than that, the experience was good.

I pick this store over the "large home improvement store" in Texas City because of the customer service. They always asks me if they can help and I can always find an associate close by. The reason for 4 stars not 5 lack of selection in some areas of the store, otherwise a very decent experience.

Employees aren’t wearing masks properly. I can’t catch covid from your double chin and neck; don’t wear your mask there.

My cashier Deborah was exceptional nice to me.

If you go, try to find Artie, he is amazing knowing everything I asked for and exactly where it was located. He saved me at least an hour of looking for the array of needed items for my short term rental.

I love this store always well stocked and clean, employees are super nice and helpful.

This store is generally fantastic. Although one particular visit in wich i bought a pool table i was treated like an idiot. Home depot contacted me to come pick up pool table. During my phone interaction the employee informed me that the item may have been damaged during shipping. I was also told that i can inspect item before accepting it. Then i was met with a miserable impatient angry human being that told me like this : ver batum; "yall git 2 choices " " take it home and inspect it . if its broken bring it back or leave it here and well order you a new one." It weighs 700lbs . take it home really? Then bring it back . sure. She didnt even try to make us happy. She was like take it or leave it . anyway she was a miserable you know what.

Out of stock of some items constantly that I enjoy. Hard to find help when I need it.
