Extremely helpful stuff, in total four people were helping me to find what I needed. I definitely needed help and it took only a few minutes until someone approached me with the question if I needed help.

The sale cashier was friendly and polite during checkout. She also made a point to talk to my son, which really helped with keeping him occupied during our trip.

Deborah (appliances Dept) help me to choose my refrigerator very nice and helpful person make me feel confident with my purchase and everything when smooth and quick Thank you Deborah for your hard working and dedication!!!!

The cashier Anabel Nina is a friendly cashier. Very welcoming and very helpful.

Most associates in the store are helpful and pleasant, Especially Joe B, Wilson Assistant Store Manager, Deban from Tool Rental department, Nick from Paint department. I really like this store because not only I find all items but most of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Annabel store associate is a beast. She sits and accuses innocent hard working ppl of stealing, Ericka her supervisor backs her up! What a Theatrical pair of inappropriate, unprofessional, humiliating, employees. Home Depot you should hire better.

I visited the Home Depot in Hackensack NJ on Wednesday 3/3. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Edna at the customer service counter. She is by far the epitome of a stellar customer service provider. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to assist customers. Other Home Depot stores can certainly learn something from her work ethic as it relates to providing optimal service levels. She appears to enjoy her job a great deal and makes it a pleasure to shop at your store.

Helpful employees but the store is consistently a terrible mess. Items often difficult to find, impossible to get to because aisles are blocked, or out of stock.

My local Hackensack Home Depot is always my favorite, because the staff there is always courteous and knowledgeable. Without exception to that was my experience yesterday in the store. Two employees stand out for me, and they are Edna and Danielle. They went out of their way to be accommodating and were so friendly in the process. It truly made going there to purchase supplies for a huge project, an enjoyable experience!! Both exemplified excellence in customer care and satisfaction, and for that I appreciate them both. Thank you Edna and Danielle!!!

Products were easy to fine and the employee were very helpful

We went in at around 5:30 p.m., and it wasn't crowded and what we wanted was relatively easy to find. The store was clean and well-lit.

Date: January 30, 2021 As a previously loyal customer, I am writing to advise Home Depot of my recent disappointment in trying to do business with one of your stores located in Hackensack New Jersey. On January 6, 2021 I placed an order to purchase two appliances a refrigerator and a dishwasher. The order was to be delivered to my home on January 16, 2021. Upon arrival the delivery person asked me if there was any other way to bring the appliances in, other than the front door. I informed him that the front entry is the way all major appliances are delivered to my home. He then claimed he could not bring it in that way because my bushes were in his way. At this point I want to give you a backdrop of my history with Home Depot. I have purchased at least (15) major appliances over the last (15) years. More than half of them have come through the front door, including (2) Refrigerators, (3) Ranges and (2) Dishwashers. All of which came past those same bushes. I advised the delivery person of that history. I also reasoned that they were just bushes which can easily be pushed out of his way and had been done by every previous delivery team. He showed no interest in that information or reasoning. I then advised him that the front entry was the only way to bring large appliances into the kitchen. He again told me he could not bring it in that way because of the bushes. At that point I told him to take it back because there was no other way to do it and I would be seeking a refund from Home Depot if he did make the delivery as I asked. He dismissed that with complete disinterest. I called the Hackensack store where I made the purchase and advised them of the situation. The only thing they had to offer was to buy a smaller appliance. I let them know I was not interested in purchasing a smaller appliance and since I had purchased several other appliances there and had them delivered via the same route I saw no reason to change my purchase. After experiencing a rather dismissive attitude on both ends I advised the sales agent I was speaking to, to cancel the order. Five days later I got a call asking me if I wanted to continue with the delivery. Frankly I thought it was odd since I thought the delivery was cancelled already. But since the person offered to arrange for a different team to make the delivery I agreed. Wednesday January 27, 2021 was agreed to. I even went to the extent of cutting back my bushes to create a greater clearance. I also removed doors and put down protective floor covering all of which took several hours and was very disruptive to my home. On the 27th I got no call and after no one showed up my Wife called the store. She was informed that there was no delivery scheduled. This set of events has left a very bad taste in my mouth for Home Depot deliveries. It solidified my desire to get my money back. Considering that the order was evidently cancelled on January 16th when I originally called I am confused why I was contacted to reschedule the delivery. Further since the order was cancelled on the 16th I don’t understand why there was no effort to return my money at that time and why was I forced to take time out of my schedule to go to the store to get my refund. Historically I have made all my major appliances purchases as well the remodeling of my entire kitchen using Home Depot. I have spent easily over $50,000 with Home Depot. But this distasteful experience has caused me to seriously reevaluate my relationship with your company and seek my purchase of major appliances elsewhere. As the deliveries are apparently made by a third party, as I re-evaluate my relationship with you, I recommend you reevaluate your relationship with that third party delivery service. I may not be the only customer you may lose because of them. Further as I am an Architect I have also endorsed Home Depot with clients for appliances and materials of construction. But after this experience I cannot continue to do that and I am compelled to share what I have observed in this series of events.

In general I got what I needed. The assistance provided to me was a bit disappointing. I asked 2 employees where their caulking was and they did not know what it was. I went and looked by myself without them even trying to go further to help or even look. Another time I bought a nail gun, but had trouble looking for the battery/charger that was sold separately. I asked 3 employees and they all said to ask someone in the front, which led me to walking around in the front asking help from 2 others. Eventually the 4th employee knew what I was talking about and led me to the right direction. Spent almost 20-30 minutes walking around

Joey D42_pro and Brandon D26 were the most helpful people I have come across in a long time. It is amazing I went in with a screen that had a whole in it and they went above and beyond to help me find the materials I needed and then showed me how its suppose to be done. What great thing in todays world.

Always my go to store

The store was clean and associates are always kind and very helpful. Even if they’re not sure of the question or can’t find the answer on their own it’s always the next person to help. It’s close to home and I love going there.

If I ask anyone wearing the Homedepot apron in the aisles any questions, the person always helps me kindly.

People who works there, makes me happy

I went there to buy appliance yesterday and it is a great experience. Deborah helped me with patience. She double checked coupons to make sure I got the best deal and didn't miss any promotion. She taught me how to claim the rebate and everything that I need to know. I will definitely recommend her to all my friends.

Store is a great location has most thing you need and it’s not to big that you are walking miles to get something. Also has tool rentals which is great and easy.

The Pro Service Desk is outstanding! Fred, Joey B & Brad provide top notch customer service. They go above and beyond helping those of us that feel pretty lost in home improvement stores, while working on large construction projects. Keep up the great work!!

Audi in the paint department is beyond helpful and his customer service is SPECTACULAR! He went above and beyond for me. By even helping by taking me to checkout, and pushing my cart to my card and helped load all my paint into the car! Every time I come back for more paint he remembers who I am and helps me with all my needs!
