This store is always clean, items are easy to locate and the employees perfect the practice of respect, assistance as needed, and courteous customer service. It is evident that this is a happy place to work.

The manager at the tool rental is A++++! Great customer service and very knowledgeable.

I'm conflicted about the star count on this experience. This trip involved 2 stores in the New Orleans area. I looked online and found a few Milwaukee M18 Fuel tools I have been interested in. One was a smaller, hand held vacuum, and the other was the 4 piece M18 Fuel kit which also comes with 2 free tools when you buy the kit for $499. This very website showed 2 of the kits and one vacuum in stock. I called to verify they were there a few minutes before I went to the New Orleans Central #0385, located on 1100 S Claiborne Avenue. The associate told me they were on the shelf, right in front of him. Well, wouldn't you know it, when I arrived ten minutes later, they were not there, but the inventory computer and app still showed 2. What made me really upset was the fact that on the huge display sign there is a large sticker saying "THIS ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK, ORDER ON LINE. (Why not tell me that on the phone?) So I asked the Associate, as well as the TTI rep to see if there were any more in the area. I was then told that Kenner #0349 2625 Veterans Blvd had 5, and to go there. So I bought the vacuum and went to the Kenner store. Guess what. None there either, even though they were still showing 5 in stock. I will say that the associate that tried to help me in this store was extremely patient and professional. (I don't remember his name, but he works in the hardware/tool section, has brown hair and a beard.) He tried as much as he could to locate the 4 piece tool set. He looked on every shelf, on the top of the shelves and anywhere else he could think of that they could possibly be. But none were in the store. Now the thing is, the vacuum is a tool only, and I was planning on using the charger and one of the batteries from the other 4 piece took kit to power the vacuum. Now I have to figure something else out. I even called the "Need Help? Please call us at: 1-800-525-5000" in hopes of finding one in the area, Since they are out of stock on-line as well. (Even though the sign in the New Orleans, Central location said to order them there.) And for some reason, the associates can't simply piece the kit together with the Same Tools on an individual/off the shelf tool and charge me the same price. I mean, I understand that they had a sale on these tools, but the thing that makes me a little upset is that I was told by an associate that the tools were there, as well as the Inventory Computer/App Web Site et al. that the items were there.

This store always has the products I need. The employees are always helpful, have positive attitudes and shoppers feel employees' excitement to serve customers. Its location is invaluable to the local community residents, and anyone outside the community who chooses to visit the store. There are never any surprises when shopping here. Shoppers are served in honesty and truth.

Bad customer service

This store has two great employees, Aline and the other Garden salesperson! Unfortunately, I don't remember her name. They were excellent in assisting me. I recommend this store to all who want great help in finding their items, respectful assistance, enjoyable attitudes, and excellent customer service.

i usually shop at this store in New Orleans I found the ferns that I wanted but I called 2 of the Home Depot stores about this particular fern and I was told there were none. Very disappointing with the phone service i guess they prefer that you come in to shop

I love this store! The Associates here are the best, Gwen in millworks, India in appliances, Julie and Dele in electrical, Sharon at customer service, Henry in hardware, Daniel at the Pro Desk. Love shopping here!

I am a white male and during my visit, I was treated very poorly in this store. And on isle 10 and 11 the plumbing section, there were no employees. I had to go to lumber and asked that person to send someone to plumbing. She finally sent someone about 10 minutes later and so many people were waiting, I got no help. Now this has been going on for over 30 minutes. When someone finally showed up, he waited on all of the African Americans first even though I was there waiting first. Thoroughly disgusted with this store and will not shop here any more.

Great service from Ms. Glenda in flooring she is always helpful and friendly.

The people were extremely helpful. I needed assistance and got it, The only problem is the item was broken and has to be returned. The bottom drawer of the tool chest is broken and must be returned. I don’t have a truck so returning an item is not easy. I called the store and they cannot repair. Only option is to return it.

Great Staff

One of the better Home Depot’s in our area. The employees are always willing to help and available when needed. This is a Home Depot I know when I walk in they will have majority of what I’m looking for and when I can’t find something someone will always be around to assist me!

The Central Home Depot had lots of the on-sale items I was interested in buying and I was able to find a small Father's Day gift in the clearance section of the store.

5* Davonta and Mrs. Carol helped me to the max. They looked until we found the item I was looking for. Great Job

I had an awesome experience in this store. I needed a new door for my home and had no idea where to start. Gwen came over and answered the million questions I had patiently and with an awesome attitude. I walked out of there with 2 doors instead. Gwen should be recognized for her customer service performance! It was excellent!

Security guard was intentionally intrusive, and since he was actually a local Sherriff, you'd expect him to be polite and professional. I'll have to shop here in the future - but you can bet I will not browse. If this is the way Home Depot's management wants to present themselves to their customers, congratulations. They're building their own reputation.

Knowledgeable associates... Excellent Customer Service... It's a great place to shop for home improvement projects!

Have never had a problem with Home Depot until now but from now on I will refrain myself and tell other’s about this bad experience and try to keep them to go through these problems I will be posting constantly throughout my social media about the issue to keep anyone else from this, specially through this difficult time!!

I was in the store on yesterday and had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Gwenith; she help me special order some Windows. She has helped me before but I remember her name. I picked up some clear silicone by mistake and she remembered the last time I purchased white. When I tried to use my credit card there was some issue with it; she made a phone call to customer service but the information provided her didn't work. Ms. Gwenith to the time and figured it out on her own; She simply the Best. Thanks again

This is the best Home Depot! The Associates are friendly and helpful. The store is very clean and the Garden section has an incredible selection of plants and shrubs.

Much to my surprise my visit to The Home Depot in Central City was amazing! Everything that I went to purchase was readily available and the service I received was impeccable! I had to purchase a small freezer , I walked into the Appliance Dept. and was greeted by Henry who proceeded to ask if I needed any help, and sure enough I did. Henry was able to answer all of my questions. Not only was he able to do that, Henry helped me to the checkout and proceeded to help me to my vehicle. These days in New Orleans, customer service is almost non-existent. While I was walking around the store prior to meeting Henry, other employees were greeting me as well. I was wondering if I was on Candid Camera or such. Great Job and congratulations to the team at this Home Depot!
