This store is well stocked, garden section has quality plants and staff is always available to help lift/load items.

I love Home Depot in Port Charlotte Fl.

I usually don’t complain when a store does badly because mistakes happen, but what transpired afterwards is what was really upsetting. I purchased a large order of items for delivery at the Port Charlotte store to renovate our guest bath. Among the items in the order was a bath tub. The wrong tub was delivered to my home. It had the drain on the wrong side so I could not install it at all. I contacted the Port Charlotte store, and arrangements where made to pick up the wrong tub and drop off the correct one. I was also told the North Port Store fulfilled the order, and the two stores had to coordinate together to get the situation resolved. When they came to pick up, they did not have the correct tub and I was told another truck would deliver it. No such delivery happened. Again I contacted Port Charlotte to “remind” them I still did not have my tub. At this point, the two stores are juggling responsibility for the screw up, so I drive to Port Charlotte to find out where my tub is, and the store associate calls the North Port store and has me speak to customer service there. I was told that my tub would be delivered on Friday. Meanwhile five of us at home are sharing one bathroom. Late Thursday evening, I get a call stating my tub will be delivered Saturday. So I make my own special arrangements and drive to North Port to pick up the tub myself. Here’s the cherry on top of this cluster fudge... I’m parked in the second spot in front of the doors. The tub is on a wheeled cart, and two associates are “helping” me load it on my van, which I had to clean out and drop all the seats, so I could pick this tub up, I already paid $80 to have deliver. We walk out of the store and my van is literally ten yards from the door, and one of the associates says, “Why don’t you pull up to make it easier on everybody” with an aire of entitlement reserved for little blonde princesses. I turn to him and say, “What would’ve been easier on everyone is if you idiots delivered the right tub in the first place!” I’m not proud of it, but at this point I had to let off a bit of steam or things would’ve gotten nasty, and I try to not be that guy. So it’s really a mix of the Port Charlotte and North Port stores I’m really reviewing. But needless to say, I shouldn’t have to play monkey in the middle and Port Charlotte should’ve step up and resolved this sooner and without so much grief to a returning customer.

This store is clean, neat, and organized. The employees are always around to help if you need help, and all the employees that helped me are friendly, not to mention it close and convenient, so yes I would recommend this Home Depot to friends, and family.

All store employees had no clue what was going on. I ended up helping I customer find air filters cause the employee said “I don’t know if new here” and employee was argumentative on the radio about helping a customer load their car. Finally I was looking at a clearance table saw and noticed some piece were loose or might be missing. Since it had been marked down I went to ask an associate about it and told me he can’t help and walked away. Store was dirty and cluttered.

Not all employees were wearing a mask for customers protection! Did not feel safe because of it!

Totally bad experience. Associates would not help me and the cashier messed up my checkout. No military discount on Memorial Day weekend? Really?! Couldn't find some items. I'll look elsewhere. Take notice HD.

I found what I needed quickly and after making my selection, there was a price difference from "as marked" and without a fight, they corrected the final price and I was on my way gratefully. VERY nice experience.

If you ever have questions about plants or products Rhonda is the employee to see! I live out of state and needed to purchase a beautiful orchid arrangement or my mother. I asked if she could help me by taking some pictures of what was available in store for me to purchase. She was able to pick me the healthiest/ prettiest one she could find and place at the service desk! I was able to call the store and place a willcall order over the phone. My mother came in that same day and picked up her mothers day present with ease! I can't thank Rhonda enough for taking time out of her day and going that extra mile for this Home Depot customer!!

This store continues to improve with its helpful associates and its merchandising of a wide array of products and values! HD Associate and Greeter, Mr. Marshall is soooo friendly and knowledgeable in helping us find -quickly- what we're looking for. Marshall is simply 'AMAZING' when it comes to Customer Service! He has saved us a LOT of time when we need to gitt'r done!

Great store! Seems huge compared to our old store in Knoxville TN, people at this store are very friendly, helpful & informative, had trouble with an outdoor waterproof outlet box once, had a duh moment apparently, was actually bringing an item back because I didn’t think it would work for my project, the fella (didn’t get name) explained to me how it worked & I was like “ohhhhh!” thanks to him I got it done!

Shout out to Dean, Billy and Chris O for outstanding customer service.

Everyone in store was very helpful and friendly Howie was great and Art the store manager made us feel like an important customer.

From the beginning to the end everybody was friendly got help on some getting my floor tile to the cart the cashier was very friendly and fast we didn't have to wait in line. Billy and Kelly were very very helpful in loading my tile on my very high truck I know it was a hard job and I really appreciate them helping me .

George the plumbing associate was ever so knowledgeable, helpful and strong enough to lift and load our purchase. Then Billy the lot associate was great and cheery as he loaded our purchase in the car.

Associates are helpful and friendly and knowledgeable, especially Rhonda in the Garden Center.

Billy and Rob were excellent helping load the truck and should get a free lunch!!
