Kayla is fantastic in the appliance section. Knows her stuff and is very helpful. She went over and above while helping us.

get rid of some of the pre order pick up outside parking spaces. I have been their several times and lots of empty spaces or vehicles parked there an no one waiting in their cars

I have been remodeling and landscaping my home for a number of years (I'm 76 years old and have to tackle my projects thoughtfully). I put a new roof on my garage. Summer of 2020 I rebuilt my large deck. Now I'm putting the finishing touches on my home art studio that I start in fall last year. I'm now getting ready to open my Art Studios & Gallery in Weaverville CA. I say all this to let people know I am a frequent visitor to the Redding Home Depot. Why Home Depot instead of the many other choices I have in both Shasta and Trinity County??? Because at the Redding Home Depot I can always find what I need. The people that work there are always helpful and nice. I get in and get out pretty quickly usually. And these things are consistent.

I received some awesome customer service through the self check line. The cashier attending, Gerrald, informed me of a military discount with valid military id, I showed him my military id and he was able to save me some money on my purchase. Much appreciated!

While my husband and I were shopping in the kitchen and bath area, James came to us and asked if we needed help finding anything. It's nice to know store employees really care and are looking to help shoppers.

The employees in plumbing rocked our sox off! we didnt have a clue where to start, but after Chase asked if we needed help, we felt like we could actually do ok in installing our new gas water heater. Thanx Chase!!!

Jason overheard me say that I needed a cabinet slider and quickly told me where I could find it without me asking for help. Its nice to have people always willing to help.

When you have a friendly cashier like Corrin, its nice to shop at Home Depot.

The Redding Home Depot has the most helpful and knowledgeable staff ever! I have had the pleasure of meeting several friendly professional staff members who have years of expertise in the projects I am attempting for the first time and they saved me so much heartache. I now have the proper tools for what I am building and I'll definitely be back as I expand my ambitions. It is so nice to receive help from individuals who knew exactly what I needed, because I didn't know! Thank you so much for your help and encouragement.

Tracy at the return desk was awesome. She spent extra time trying to locate an item I was returning for exchange. We walked the floor looking for about 15-20 minutes, since their inventory said there were four in stock. After no success finding the product, she arranged for me to get another brand which cost more money. She arranged it with her manager and there was no out of pocket expense to me.

I was impressed with the knowledge and willingness of the sales person in the cabinet department. She was cheery and very helpful.

When I re-roofed and painted the exterior of my home in Anderson, CA, in August 2018 your store supplied all my needed materials satisfactorily.

Good selection of tools in stock and usually very good selection in the nursery section.

Karen from the countertop department was very knowledgeable. We appreciated her level of interest in our countertop purchase. We had gone to the store two previous times in the evenings only to find associates that were moody and not very helpful. Thankfully on a Saturday morning she made our purchase quick and easy.

Went to the Redding Home Depot to buy floors in a house I’m remodeling. I paid to have someone come and measure, then paid for the floors I picked out. A week later, I get a call saying that the floor installers don’t like to travel where I live in the winter time, and asked if I’d be willing TO WAIT TILL SPRING TO GET MY FLOORS. Obviously that’s insane, so i ask for a refund. The woman on the phone says they can only refund my money in the store. So I take time off of work and make ANOTHER 2hr trip to the store. Then I have to wait almost 2hrs for them to figure out how to refund my $9200. Then they tell me they have to mail a check and it will take 2-3 weeks. Flash forward another week, I get a voicemail from the redding Home Depot telling me that they can only do the refund in store and they need my debit card, and if there was any questions to call. So I call the number and extension they gave me, wait 20mins while the phone rings only to get hung up on. I give up on the phone and make another 2hr trip to the store where they tell me the refund is not for the $9200, but for a $65 fee. I understand that mistakes happen, but the complete lack of regard for my time or money was shocking. There wasn’t anyone who tried to make the mistakes right. They made it clear that they didn’t care if I shopped there or not. And they don’t care if this keeps happening to their customers. I was a loyal customer before this, it’s sad to see how they do business

Everything was in order and in full stock, the Christmas items were out and in display giving you a good look at them lit up, The store was clean, The store clerks were courteous and very helpful, when checking out all their self checkout registers were opened and running, user friendly making it easy to scan, pay and go! Loved the shopping here!

They need more employees to work the store. It's hard to find anyone to help you.

The cashier was very helpful, courtesy, and got me on my way. Corrin is her name. She was working very hard compared to the other cashiers. She understood, that as a contractor, I need to get back to my projects. The store was a bit messy, seemed like you needed more people to help out. If the current crews worked more and socialize less, the store would be much more productive.
