Ive always had great service at this location. Except a recent visit in which I was picking up a online order, the employee wasn't very friendly didn't believe me that my order included 3 pieces and then took over an hour to find my order and didn't even find it all! I had to return the next day for one of the items and was told by those employees the item was there the whole time they were unsure why the other employee couldn't find it, those employees were very friendly and helpful and apologized for the previous nights employees actions. I also had an issue after that trying to return and get a refund for another item ordered online, no one in the store could help me and I had to call online orders customer service to help cancel and refund the order instead because the instore employees didn't know how to. The employees need to be a little bit more educated with online orders and pick up.

With employee Annie's help we were able to find the products we needed to buy. The cashier Lorena was friendly & had a smile for everyone.

The employees are helpful and friendly; however, there’s definitely staff shortage, including on Saturdays, when they’re the busiest. It took the paint department about 45 minutes to mix us a gallon of paint. Associate asked supervisor for assistance and it was at least 15 minutes before someone came to assist her. Unfortunately other employee wasn’t familiar with paint department so he wasn’t very helpful but he tried. Kiddos to Jasmine for her hard work and maintaining her professionalism even though she was under much stress considering her long line of customers.

Too many items stacked in the aisles. This is an emergency hazard in case of fire or earthquake. Makes it difficult to navigate with a cart throughout the store. Please keep items out of the aisles and keep them on the shelf(s) unless they are not able to place on shelf(s). Some locations do not have carts close to the garden entrance ( i.e., location 0607). Please have carts close to the garden entrances.

It makes no sense. All the store carries is oil based wood stain. But they also only carry water based wood conditioner. Oil and water do not mix. So why do they carry have two products that are supposed to work together but dont?

This is the greatest Home Depot in Riverside . Always receive supreme service . Leslie has helped us 2x in ordering windows. All windows fit perfect. We would wait for her to arrive to order windows . We love to see Hans working on wood products . We can always ask him a question and he knows the answer. Gretel is great in the customer service and return area. She really knows how to take care of customers . We have done many repairs and rental remodels . All the associates were friendly and helpful. They made sure I found everything I was looking for, and often took me to the actual item The customer service was great, spending a very long time solving a problem that was created by an associate at another store giving inaccurate information. The manager was also so nice and helpful. The service at the Madison st. Home Depot in Riverside, CA is undoubted the best service I have ever had at any home improvement store.

I came in to this Home Depot looking for carpeting, and Mozelle came over to me within minutes asking if I needed any help. She was knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.

Every single member of this Home Depot team that I've asked for directions or guidance has been helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Most recently, Gilbert in tool rentals provided exemplary customer service when I needed to rent a carpet cleaner to help remove pet odors. Gilbert made helpful suggestions on which cleaning products I needed and took time to explain how to use the equipment. The results were great -- thanks to Gilbert. Love this store!!

This store has help that have no idea what they are doing. To find anyone to help you takes forever and then they give you miss information. Store manager should never have gotten the job. Will never step foot in this store again. Cost me time and money on a bathroom remodeled because the supervisor of kitchen and bath sold us the wrong in closure for the tub. We bought all three pieces tub,wall and door so the mistake was totally his. Not the first time we have had problems with this store but not enough room to write it all. Lowe’s is a little farther so the have my business from now on

I shop for projects and remodels throughout Southern California and Oregon. The Madison Riverside Store has the best Contractor's desk staff. They are well staffed, have low turnover so they get to know you and what you are looking for and they are always friendly and helpful. I usually work with Irene and lately Cathy who are the best and super efficient and nice and know just about every customers name. But everyone at the Contractor desk here is very very good. Good people and staff retention are important. There are some stores I really dread going to.
