Amazing customer service

Every time coming to visit home depot i found good help and assist, specialy Klara, she is helpful and good in advices. Always this store is clean and well organized and everybody friendly and helpful

I think that this store had ok service. I moved from the city to the subbers and I feel like I got amazing service in the city stores.

To whom it may concern, I purchased 40 shingles and they only gave me 37, I told the guy that there were only 37 and that my order was 40 he kept insisting that there were 40 that he had counted them and it was fine which was not true, as I looked I noticed that some were damaged, I notified the guy telling him my customer will not approve of this And asked another Home Depot employee to help me. He went to get another lady that had an extremely bad attitude and was very rude, she got the damaged shingles out but did not give me a discount because I'm a company. As I was finishing my order I noticed that ABC would have given me a better deal. All I would have wanted was to get a good customer service since I am a frequent buyer with my company.

Dirty and cluttered, many things not stocked or lost. Employees unable to help me either. probably worth the drive to go some where else.

Will in the paint department goes above and beyond in the service he provides. Highly recommend him.

Product I needed was on a pallet right inside the entry door...how convenient is that? The only downside was having to lug a bag of lawn fertilizer to the other end of the store to pay for it. Ah well, I needed the exercise anyway!

Employees need better training in the fields of their departments. like paint needs better training in colors and textures as with electrical in applications of electrical equipment. As does the cabinet and mill work departments in installations. They seem to know what is on their shelves but not how to use it?

I had the most special experience today. The girl at the service desk found a YouTube to help me build a wheelchair for my dog. Then a wonderful employee, gentleman helped me build it right in the store. How often does that happen? It was fun and so touching. Other employees were interested and supportive. Thank you for that! Blessing to those special people.

The employee that I asked to help find this item paged an associate familiar with the correct department. I did not have to wait very long and he showed me the item which needed to be taken down with a lift. He and the lift operator closed off the area and safely lowered my item. The cashier was friendly and another employee helped me to push the item onto my vehicle. While I may not remember all of the names, one name does come to mind when reflecting upon this visit, and that is The Home Depot

Love the service provided by the team at the store in Round Lake Beach, IL. Brett, at the paint counter, is extremely knowledgeable and always cheerful! Seems like he loves his job and is a great people person! I have never had a bad experience at this Home Depot. Over the 18 years we have lived in Antioch, we have special ordered carpet, redone kitchen & bathrooms, completed landscaping projects, purchased appliances, lawnmowers, grills and enough paint to float a cruise ship, and many other things. I have been to many other Home Depots, and honestly, they don't disappoint, but this one is my favorite!

Very clean and staff are very helpful, I seem to find everything I needed every-time I shop at this store. Returning items is very easy, when the line is long staff members immediately ask for help to support the long lines if any. Never had an issues getting Military Discount. Thanks Home Depot for your support.

The employees are so willing and able to help you. If they're not sure about something, they will find someone who knows for sure. Very friendly and professional.

Good store. Friendly staff. Good location.

I came in to buy a deck box and was dissatisfied with the ability to find the product or an employee to help. Since I couldn’t find the actual product I wanted to purchase, I took the display to the front register to purchase. The cashier at self checkout was giving me 15 percent off the price because it was the display but the original price was ringing up wrong. It was coming up 139.00 instead of 129.00. So the cashier voided the transaction and started over. She rung up the deck box again and only gave me 10.00 off instead of the original 15% she initially gave me. At this point I decided to get a new one instead. The cashier called and found out if there were any new deck boxes. There were and she told me that they were outside in aisle 57. She did not offer to have an employee get one for me. So I had to go find another flatbed cart, and head across the store to find the new one in box. I met up with an employee and the employee showed me the section where the new inbox deck boxes were. However they did not have the grey colored deck box that was on display. Only had the brown ones. So I finally had to settle and purchase the brown one. I went to the register and sure enough the price was wrong again. I told the cashier that it was 129.00. (The sign and the shelf label both said 129.00 but it did have “Father’s Day” sale on the sign) so it was probably expired sale. The cashier rolled his eyes and picked up the phone to call for a price check and few minutes later he adjusted the price down 10.00 with no sorry or apology for waiting. I finally got the final price and paid for the deck box. I get home to find out that the deck box was damaged so now I had to turn around and go back. I arrived at the store and went to garden center and asked the same cashier if I could just exchange the box for the same one and he said ok but there was a girl that said no and that I would have to go to customer service to do my return. I asked her just to exchange for same and she said no you have to go to the return desk to exchange. At this point I had spent about an hour total in the store between finding the product getting rung up wrong 2 times and returning the product. I told the “customer service” girl that if I have to return the product just to turn around and repurchase? I would just do the return and not repurchase and go somewhere else to purchase. She responded with “that’s how it is!” So I did my refund and went home just to start telling my family about my experience and wasted time. Im sure that nothing will happen after this but if someone of importance actually reads this I would just like them to know that my family and I will not purchase from Home Depot again. Thank you.
