Was exactly what is described. Filled the extra hole in the sink for a soap dispenser. Matched the stainless steel. Thanks!

No reason to tolerate a hole where your sprayer used to be. If you're not going to replace it for awhile, consider this cover as a useful and decorative solution! Simple installation and fitted gasket to prevent leaks. Great fix!

This item is NOT stainless steel. It is 100% PLASTIC. The packaging/labeling is deceptive!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Violet Maybe useful if the sink is not installed
I am not a pro. My sink is already installed, I bought this item without reading the instructions, it requires plumbers putty. You put the putty under the cap where it touches the metal but you also put the putty on the "cup" where it touches the metal. You are to put the putty in a "putty cup" which is just a flat washer, so the putty can and does move around. I don't know it also seems that a 3/8" bead is quite large on both sides of the metal. When attempting an install from underneath the sink, it's almost impossible to thread the washer up as the unsecured putty interferes with moving it up. And by myself, I can't hold the the cover in place as I attempt it to move the washer into position.
I didn't even get to the point of actually tightening from below. Seems like one of those snap-ins might be better for me

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GaryS Works great but not quite what I thought they would be
The description of the product said, "in stainless steel", but the product is plastic with a stainless steel look. If I had read the details more carefully, I would have known. So I was a bit disappointed when I opened the product. Never-the-less, they worked fine and I am happy with them. They were only a third of the cost of metal ones and are better made. As with most sink item installation, the biggest problems are just getting in and behind the sink and I had to remove the disposal to reach the install location.
