Asked by: puzzle
Plywood weight varies a little by species, moisture content, and glue content, but 11/32" (3/8") plywood will weigh about 30 pounds per 4x8 sheet, slightly less than one pound per square foot.

Purchased 14 sheets 4ft x 8ft over the past month for replacing my soffit. Had Home Depot rip them into 2ft x 8ft sections. After putting all of the panels up, I went back and stapled all of the panels along with the previous nails. That is when I found out the panels were coming apart because of the faulty workmanship of the vendor ( plywood warping and coming apart from the glue failing). Needless to say with a BC rating I would have thought it would last for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I built a unique bed frame, using 2 Edsal canning shelves for the head and footboard. I wanted a "bridge" across the top, to keep the shelf units from tipping. My local store cut the plywood for me, I built my bed, my cats and I are thrilled. :D
