Answer:
Yes it has the wires attached to the ballast. They're folded up in the package and are quite long. Ordering online you'll be fine. You will need wire nuts.

Answer:
I don't think so because I tried it and the ballast needs to be disconnected, in addition if the fixture is to old it also many need to be replaced (may not be comparable). The manuf. will give you a list of fixtures for your to compair to your led LED. I tried sending the list but was not able.

Answer:
You should contact Phillips Lighting, Lamps and Ballasts at 1-800-372-3331, Option #2 OEM. You should have the part number of the Phillips Ballast that you are replacing, and they can confirm the compatibility.

Answer:
No, that is not a correct replacement as it is a 4 lamp ballast. The Sunpark ballast SL15T is a 1 or 2 lamp rapid start residential ballast for F32T8.That would be our RK2S32TP ballast.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install, product description could be better In the online site the image for the product shows it as a GE120-Volt Electronic Ballast for 4 ft. 4-Lamp T8 Fixture. Evidently that product was discontinued and the item that replaced it was the Philips AdvanceAmbiStar 120-Volt 3 to 4-Lamp T8 Instant Start Electronic Fluorescent Replacement Ballast. The Store personal finally figured that out after about an hour. The image that iis online was never updated, so I was not sure it was the correct item and would work in the fixture. But it works quite well. September 13, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Inaccurate online description To clarify, this is a ballast suitable for 4' or 3' lamps, not for 4 or 3 lamps. Actual packaging describes as only being for 4 lamps, 4' or 3' long. September 3, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ballast for Lithonia Lighting Model # DMW 2 54T5HO MVPS90 2-Light 4 ft. White T5 High Output Fluorescent Wet-Light Strip This is the ballast for Lithonia Lighting Model # DMW 2 54T5HO MVPS90 2-Light 4 ft. White T5 High Output Fluorescent Wet-Light Strip. It is not carried in Home Depot stores but the sales people do not know that in any of my local stores. I have wasted a lot of time and money trying to repair these lights as a result. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by T12 to T8 Upgrade I have two four-lamp fixtures in the kitchen. Each has two magnetic ballasts. A lamp went out and I was out of spares. I decided right away to get ahead of the T12 phase out and do a retro-fit on the existing fixtures. I installed one electronic ballast in each fixture paying attention to wiring as in this case I was converting from Rapid Start to Instant Start. I replaced all the lamps with Phillips T8 Kitchen and Bath mainly for a warmer color. The result is more and better quality light, quieter and cooler. The energy savings is a bonus. By utilizing the existing fixtures in place I saved at least $50 and time. The lights in my kitchen tend to be on for long stretches of time. With installations that have a lot of on-off cycles, consider a Rapid Start Ballast for longer lamp life. June 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Not a Philips Ambistar ballast when ordering online for store pickup The ballast is listed online as a Philips Ambistar. Yet when you pick up in store the part is made by GE. If you look at a list of ballasts check the item number and you will see the GE and Philips one are the same. Other than different brand, the ballast has a some hum to it, but not as noticeable as the original 15 year old ballast. Easy enough to install, pay attention to the wiring diagram. I could not get it to work with just two lamps. October 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great upgrade to my fluorescent fixtures Upgraded to these Phillips Ambistar ballasts and the well rated Philips 4 ft. T8 32-Watt Soft White (3000K) bulbs and significantly improved the light quantity & quality from the two 4-bulb fixtures in my home office... Other benefits: I eliminated the buzz I was getting from the older T12 40-watt bulbs and ballasts... and the energy savings should easily pay for the new ballasts & bulbs within 2 years. Installation was straightforward by just following the diagram on the new ballast. July 1, 2014
