Answer:
The range of Gallons Per Flush (gpm) is adjustable but setting the Refill valve to it's highest position to get the largest amount of water (1.59) in each flush and if the Refill valve is set in it's lowest position you should get the lowest amount of water (1.28) in each flush. The adjustment is done on the Refill valve in the tank.

Answer:
GPF = Gallons Per Flush. So, if the description lists two numbers it is either adjustable within the range or it is a dual-flush (number 1 or number 2). However, the Cadet Flowise that I bought only lists 1.28 GPF on the box.

1.28 gpf equals about 5 quarts of water used with each flush. 1.59 gpf is over a gallon and half of water. More water used for each flush does not necessarily to a better flush. Such factors as closet bend variances (extreme curve vs. gentle curve) and coefficient of friction on the curve surface (rough vs. smooth finish) are more important. So drink plenty of fluids and make roughage a regular part of your diet and you will have saved enough water to fill your swimming pool. Read Less

Answer:
1.28 gallons per flush. Or 1.59 gallons per flush. Some models do have dual flush option. You can push one button for less water or a different button for more water. Or for those without different buttons, you can hold the handle down longer for more water and quicker for less water. But, if it doesn't say "dual flush", I would think it is the flush volume of different models.

Answer:
All parts are included, including the fill buoy and the flapper valve. The only part you need for installation is the wax ring or equivalent. I used the green toilet waxless gasket seal in place of a wax ring. It is much easier to install, and has been working perfectly. Installed about 1/2-year ago.

Yes. It's about 17 1/2 inches to the seat from the floor. Most toilets are about 14 or 15 inches. I'm still getting used the extra 2 1/2 inches. I got it more for the elongation. The HD web site lists the bowl height as "standard":

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great john I purchased the AS cadet 3 to replace an older toilet. I had a plumber install it which was done quickly. The toilet works great with a real good water saving flush. No complaints with the toilet. The only negative is American Standard made in Mexico. I would have preferred that the unit be made in America! August 31, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worth the Money The toilet was easy to install. I did it myself. It is quiet and flushes with gusto. You just heave to flush it once for the big stuff. I may change my two other older toilets with this type later. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by slow close top &n different flush I bought 2 of these because of the slow close top. The top does not slam but closes slowly. The top is made of plastic. The flush is different too, which is taking some getting use to. It sort of makes noise twice and then is quiet. It is not noisy long at all. It is kind of high for me and I am almost 5' 3". August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Problems with seat As soon as we installed the toilet the seat bolts broke off. Very poor quality. August 16, 2016
