I need the width of the back flange

It appears the sink is bolted to the wall via the rectangular flange behind the sink which has the holes for the bolts. I need the width of that flange. I need to replace the original 1912 circular bowl that is the only item I salvaged during the first remodel. There is an electrical outlet in the backing tile wall that is 34" (bottom of the cover) high off the floor and 9" from the center of the sink. So if the back flange is less than 18" I can use this sink because the flange won't hit the outlet and the sink itself will curve forward from the wall and miss the outlet. The height of the sink means it's too tall to be flush with the wall. I also need the diameter of the base (the current one is 13") because I hope it will cover any floor cement/caulk from the previous sink.

I called American Standard before I received an answer here and even their specs don't give the width of the back mounting piece, however, the agent and I calculated from the drawings (which hopefully are accurate) that it is 18.6" which of course .6" too wide if centered. I am having to work around a drainpipe that comes up out of the floor. How far out from the wall is the back edge of the pedestal? AND is the pedestal open on the bottom and open on the back side?

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fine sink although sl yellow for a white sink This oval sink has a rectangular mounting piece at the back of the sink which created problems for me trying to clear an electrical outlet in a tiled wall behind the sink. I finally resorted to having a cabinet maker make me a Corian clad spacer that was less wide than this mounting piece to be able to mount the sink 1" out from the wall because the width of the rectangular piece would obscure the outlet. Moving it forward 1" allowed us to clear the outlet. The specifications that were available on line were inadequate (didn't have the width of this rectangular mounting piece) and I had to call Standard to try to come up with the dimensions. When the sink arrived even those and the printed specs were wrong. I got the white sink which is sl yellower than my other white fixtures. March 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Standard Collection Bought pedestal sink, right height toilet, faucet set, robe hook, towel ring & two glass shelf/towel racks from this collection about 14 years ago. Still in love with it!!! August 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks original in 1920 homes To me this is the only sink to use when replacing a sink in a vintage bathroom with original tile floors. I have purchased two of them and recommend them to many people. They are taller than the old sinks, though, but this works as most people are taller now. I like that it is a reproduction of an original. May 9, 2012
