The BEHR PREMIUM Protector and Waterproofer is an interior/exterior coating designed to penetrate the surface up to 1/2 in.. The finish has a 10 Year Customer Satisfaction Guarantee. This waterproofer creates a barrier inside the surface that keeps water out but allows trapped water vapors to escape; reducing corrosion, spalling, efflorescence and freeze-thaw damage. The protection is not worn away with normal use. It protects long after the water beading is gone. Ideal for use on horizontal and vertical uncoated concrete and masonry surfaces such as: concrete block, pavers, stucco, brick, unglazed tiles, exposed aggregate concrete, sandstone and slate.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by worked great Applied 10 gallons to over 2,000 sq ft of hard scape: concrete patio with slate border and concrete wall caps. Used professional grade equipment: power washer to clean and sprayer to apply. Used 2 coats. Looks great after 1 month following high heat and rain. I recommend using a sprayer not roller. I used rollers in the past with other sealers and its messy, does not apply evenly and just does not look good. I hired an experienced painter (did my house) to spray on the sealer. It was worth paying the extra money for this skill. I still saved tons $$ compared to the quotes I was getting from "professional" concrete sealing contractors. August 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bricks Bead Water! I have bricks which have chronically had green algae / moss growing on them. I've tried a few waterproofing things in the past to no avail. I was looking for a waterproofing product I could apply with a jug sprayer and this fit the bill. I was confused if I should try one of the waterproofers in the gallon can but it seemed that with a rough brick surface I didn't want a paint-like product. I liked that it has a 10yr warranty and I'm keeping the receipt in case I need to reapply. I applied a bleach solution, pressure-washed, and waited for 3 hot dry days. I used a jug sprayer until it soaked it and surface residue showed, then used a deck brush to mop spread out the residue. I then waited another 2 days and reapplied a second coat which immediately left a surface residue but I worked it in again. The liquid goes on a milky color but disappears in an hour or so. I was going to apply a 3rd coat of wet look sealer but the rains hit before I could do that but a small area I tested didn't look much different (I think that the rough surface won't achieve the wet look). I am relieved to see that there's a nice beading of water on the surface - see photo. Only time will tell if it keeps beading and avoids the algae but the 10yr warrantee will come in handy. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Product does the job ! Used in 2011 on a New England concrete patio/slab that has traffic, furniture, and direct sun. Pressure washed surface totally clean....Rolled stuff on surface appearing clear/wet, dries to an even coating that is not glossy or slippery when wet. Now a year later (2012) following a mild winter it held up very well. Using on another property walkway based on performance and price. September 24, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Working well after two years Used this product on a brick chimney and façade, still beading water and looks GREAT after two years of Midwest weather extremes. Better than anything I have tried in the past. October 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for indoor concrete floor We have a four-seasons room where the carpet was torn up a year ago due to flood damage. With four dogs, the smell in that room can build up and concrete will soak up the smell. We used this product to seal the floor, and it was successful at removing the legacy smells and so far at preventing anything new. I was shocked at two things...1) the consistency of this is like taking a half gallon of skim milk and mixing it with half a gallon of water. It is much thinner than I expected. 2) It will cause water to bead up. With that said, I applied this with a concrete brush. I didn't expect the thin consistency otherwise may have sprayed. However I really think the spray would not have covered as well. I also think it would have been more of a mess inside with the walls. September 1, 2013
