Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good paint Easily covers walls, dont have to waste time putting on primer October 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Coverage I chose to use Behr's White Metal color and it came out great. My painters have been able to achieve great coverage in one coat over an olive green. The color is true to the sample and paint chip. So far, I am very satisfied. September 21, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Definitely not one coat coverage Bought Behr Premium Plus like I have done for the last 10 years. The color was Sofft Buttercup, the finish eggshell. Not sure if the formula has changed, but this paint was so much more watery than the other cans I've purchased over the years. I was painting over previously painted plaster, and the color I was covering was Glidden-Billowing Clouds. It is a soft light blue. I use a 1-1/2" Purdy brush for the trim work. Please look at the attached pictures and you will understand my disappointment. I could understand if I was covering a dark color with this light one, but they are both relatively light colors. I like to paint and change colors in my home every couple of years, and Behr was my go to because of the coverage. I may start just priming with a primer paint if I am going to have to do 2 coats anyway. I did return this to the store, and with minimal hassle they returned my money. August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Accent Wall Color. We love this accent wall color and the sample was identical to the actual paint color. Very elegant and beautiful. September 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely color! I just purchased a home with yellow paint, this covered it up in one coat and looks gorgeous! See before and after pics! August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible color coverage Used this paint to cover a previously painted wall and the color coverage was horrible. The original color was a lighter green and the top cover was a cream white. After one coat the green was easily showing through the top coat and the room needed a second coat. I could see if there was a dramatic change in color like a deep red to white, but the original color was a soft color and this wouldn't cover in one coat. This was the worst coverage of any paint I've used in the past 30 years. When I went back to the store, they said this paint doesn't claim to cover in one coat; it says "hides in fewer coats' Won't be using Behr paints again. August 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great paint for the price. Regardless of the color you choose (because if it's too dark or too light, that's really your own fault) - the color I bought with this paint was very accurate and it went on the wall smoothly. I did need two coats, but barely. Very happy with this paint and will buy again. Note: In addition to this paint, buying good painting brushes also helps. You get what you pay for. I purchased really good brushes so I'm sure that helped as well. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent paint! Buy floetrol to add to your paint. This is excellent paint. I painted my daughters room and it looks great. My strong suggestion is that you buy Floetrol to add to the paint. It eliminates brush and/or roller marks and to me it seems to even out the paint application. It will also help with some of the issues I read where people complained that the paint "lifted" back onto the roller or had roller marks. The actual issue is painting technique and/or cheap roller covers. Don't cheap out on the rollers and make sure you load enough paint.. REASONS WHY PAINT "LIFTS" WHEN ROLLING OR SHOWS ROLLER MARKS (1) Rolling back over the freshly applied paint after it has had enough time to start to "set up". If you're going to roll over a freshly applied film, do so while the paint is still wet - not after it's had a few (or several) minutes to dry. (2) If you can see the product "lifting" from the surface as you roll over it (and not because of what's described in #1), that is a tell-tale sign of a cheap roller cover. If you buy floetrol and a good roller cover you will be pleased with the outcome. The paint results will look solid and uniform. I can speak from experience because initially every time I tried to paint it always looked awful and I had all but given up on ever painting again; then I received some advice from a friend who paints professionally. I hope this will help someone else out too. October 19, 2016
