Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bob Good Replacement Lock
I needed 6 of these to update my old ones, my local Home Depot never seemed to have more than 2 in stock. So I ordered them online, quick free delivery and cost less than the ones at the store.
It's a good average replacement lock for the typical sliding screen door.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Kirk ATTN: Product Quality and Research Dept. Needed alteration
Had to grind down the nipple coming from the key lock mechanism by about 1/16 due to it catching on the back of the plate on the inside portion of the assembly (beyond where it is supposed to catch for it to work) it was preventing the key lock function from working at completely. Thankfully I had my trusty dremel available to correct the manufacturers error. I'd recommend all future packaging mention "alteration may be required for functionality* for the less fortunate DIYers out there.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buyer Item received not as described.
This item seems like a good idea to have an upward locking mechanism so that it can not be lift. However when I received, it did not have have the locking circular turn to keep the lock from being open by jiggling. As such I return the item and did not use it. My review is base on the product I received.
If you received the same product with the licking circular turn to keep the lock from jiggling open, then it would be 5 stars.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ralph Liked it but some specs incorrect
The specs say "maximum door thickness" of 1.5 inch but then the specs state "required door thickness" of 1 3/8 to 1 3/4 in. This doesn't make sense and is not correct. I used this to replace a pitted one on a patio door of only 1 in thickness and it worked fine.
Quality decent and only about 10 bucks. Easy to put in.
