The Japanese tooth blade is great for cutting harder woods, but you have to be precise when using it. this speeds the process where other blades cut cause burn marks from friction due to slower cuts in hardwood. I only gave it 4 stars since I believe cost could be lower, but it is what it is & will continue to use these blades. It's not for cutting metal but that's not why I bought it for. I have carbide blades when I need to cut metal.

Expensive and poor quality. Its bothersome that you spend more money on a plunge blade than a circular saw blade.

Cuts thru hardwood. Once you get the technique of moving the blade the rest is like butter.

I wasn't able to use this blade. Didn't notice that an adapter (which I do not have) was required for the blade to fit on the dremel I have. Bold print on front said fits all, smaller print on back mentioned adapter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KenK The precision is in that it actually cuts.
When it comes to cutting trim, bamboo flooring, plunge cutting, plastic/PVC, even polycarbonate sheeting or just plain precision cutting this is the blade you will want to reach for in your bag.
Unlike the other blades for Jobmax (& like), which do just fine in their general applications, this blade is a true cutting blade; but no metals please.
Caution is required when using it since it will cut; flesh, unwanted areas, etc.
Because it can cut, I find myself being very precise when using it, and it makes it easier since you can actually see progress.
I would like it in a smaller application like a 1/2” or 3/4” though.
